I'm kinda surprised that I never made it in before the baby shower, because this spot is pretty close to home. Parking is easy with several lots around the area and also street parking out front of the brewery (if you're lucky enough to snag one). This place is huge! Super open concept and I can definitely see how they manage to host events here on a regular basis. Also love the vibe here and the string lights, it just makes everything feel cozy. They have lots of board games, corn hole, and a steel tip dart board for people to enjoy. They're also kid-friendly which is nice to note for future visits (sorry if you're one of those people who doesn't like kids at breweries, we're still rollin' up). Service was great while we were here as well. Their beer selections are solid and I enjoyed their hazy. They also have a cider or two on tap as well as a seltzer, if I'm remembering correctly. They have a good selection of canned wines as well. Overall this is a solid brewery and with it being close to home, I'm sure we'll be back a few times this summer!

The beer was excellent, and the staff made the experience even better. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and genuinely fun to chat with. I was especially happy to find such a great spot so close to my hotel. This is definitely going to become a regular stop whenever I'm in Tacoma. The Washington Beer Blog states that Redd Dog is moving in later in 2026 and will be running a brewery at this location. It's a turnkey scenario. Redd Dog is already present in Tacoma as a U Pour taphouse on 6th Avenue hosting guest taps from other breweries but with them making the move here it is going to be a brewery. It's sad to see Black Fleet close. Their beers were very refreshing and they later on made craft sodas which were fantastic. They will be deeply missed!
