The front desk staff is lovely, Coach Laura and Coach Megan are incredibly kind, enthusiastic, and versed in their craft. The lessons are developmentally appropriate and the equipment/tasks are fun, varied, and rigorous. Unfortunately the policies here are strange and hostile. I received less than 24 hours notice that a photographer would be taking pictures of my 4 year old's class, and if I did not wish for her image to be used in promotional content, we could miss the lesson with no refunds or makeups. The cancellation policy is also unnecessarily long and convoluted. Additionally, if you have to miss class for illness, there is no chance for a makeup class, unlike competitors and comparable activities. Our 8 year old decided he didn't want to go anymore because his teacher was mean to him. Due to their inflexible policies we had to pay another two months of membership fees (over $300) before we could finally cancel our membership. I should have known they were not a good company when they refused to honor our kiddo 's previously paid lifetime enrollment fee ($75) because it was paid when he was with his previous foster family. They are fine with policies that discriminate against foster kids, but are happy to try to look socially responsible by donating to foster kid holiday presents. The message is clear, they are fine with providing charity to others and getting credit for it but not so keen on having those same foster kids train in their gym. read more

A cool space, with many options for play during open gym. (I think it's most days of the week from noon until one o'clock.) The cost ($10) seems high for an hour, especially since much of the equipment is off limits during the open gym time. There aren't any coaches or supervision at the stations that seem like they could use it (runway trampoline, foam pit with ring swing) to help warn new families of potential dangers or ways to use the equipment safely. It can get crowded and kids seem like they are either there to practice what they learned in class that week, or to run amok without any training or awareness. read more

My daughter lives at this gym. You might say it's our home as far away as possible within city limits from home. She clocks more hours working out (at their other location - the team gym) than I did when I had a job. So I guess I love this place. I love the coaches, and I love the other team parents. This morning I had probably one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had - and in front of my toddler no less. As someone who has been on both sides of the registration process, I know never to show up the day of and expect to get into any class. So I called SGA as soon as they opened to see if my daughter could attend the 9 AM class. The woman I spoke to said that while people *normally* registered in advance and then brought their child, that you could indeed register and attend on the same day. Just to make *sure* I understood, I said "so we can come to the 9 AM class today?" She said yes. We showed up at 8:40 AM to allow enough time to fill out paperwork. With my daughter in my arms, the woman told me that the class was full. I couldn't believe it. The whole way there I promised my daughter that today would be her first day of gymnastics class. She was so excited. She even got to see the kids practicing! Unfortunately this was not the end of this terrible experience. The woman then said she would check if *maybe* there was room for one more. When she returned, she somehow evaded either confirming or denying our participation, but instead said "well, we first need to fill out some paperwork." In my mind I thought, "great, we're going to get into the class," and I reassured my daughter. I completed the paperwork and was then told that indeed class WAS full, and would be for at least a couple weeks, but that we could start on September 1. At this point I was very upset and utterly bewildered at the complete lack of transparency and communication. I had to explain to my now crying 2.5 year old that the class was full and we had to go home. Can you imagine? Really disappointing experience for both of us. read more

Fine for Gymnastics but horrible at customer service. My child's schedule changed, when I got the notice that they where going to automatically reregister him for the next session, I sent a note saying I wanted to cancel. I was told that I had not sent my cancelation in before the first of the month so they were going to charge me for that month. When I was asked about it they referenced that their no refund policy. My kid did not take class their for over two months (our fault - I paid for it) but when I asked to for a refund for the month ahead, I got as hassle. I would not recommend them. read more

As a mother of 2girls that has been going to the gymnastics academy for 4 years I am appalled how I have been treated over $40!!!!! Here's my story: I Signed my 11 yr old for level 4 Tuesday 4-6. Great, worked for us. After 2 classes got a call from lisa, manager, that the class has need canceled due to low enrollment and would like to find another time. Ok but, as a working mother I am limited in days and times. And of course there was nothing that worked for us. So I asked to get my $$$ back and would gladly pay the 2 classes my daughter has taken. Well, after getting my balance it was a little short of the $242 I paid that included the registration fee of $40. Realizing I was short the $40 I expected it back as they CANCELED ME. Lisa told me that their policy doesn't refund the $40. I asked to talk to someone with more superiority, she gave me the name of the director, Lauren. And before she hung up she told me "good luck with that". Thinking that it's only fair since they canceled my class and Lauren would realize this and be more understanding- Well, think I again- once again telling me about their policy. Knowing that I was really frustrated at this time, knowing I will get this word out she stood firm to the $40! I tried to point out that it's not fair to me and the other two families to hold on to our $40. And what is a regirtation fee I asked, Lauren said "you're paying liability insurance"! What??? I have my OWN INSURANCE. As a business they need to be insured for their building, and employees, and if anything happens to our children while under their roof! Why is Lauren telling me that I'm paying for that??? AGAIN I have my OWN INSURANCE THAT IM PAYING FOR ALREADY! When asked to see if I can talk to someone else about this she basically told me "good luck with that" too. Being really frustrated I had left a message for get JESSE on king 5 NEWS. Started thinking about the other two families and how they might of not found another spot that worked for them, and now this big gymnastics facility that should make things right will be making an extra $120 for what???? While us Parents are scrambling to join other gymnastics facilities and maybe again having to pay for another fee! And mind you, they canceled 3 families!! And quite honestly they should know about the enrollment before the class began. So when Lauren found out that I called "Get Jesse", a couple of days later she called and said- that after talking to Elaine, the president, that they have decided to give me my $40 back. Not only that, but the 2 CLASSES my daughter has taken. Wow! Ok great. Really after how many frustrated phone calls? And this is the best part, before we hung up, Lauren said- "I am no longer WELCOME to EVER come back to the SGA". Wow, I thought how classic. As she should of waited to see if I ever register again. So, a few days later I get a check in the mail I got a check in the mail for $184.29 and NOT the $242. When I finally got a hold of the president Elaine, she proceeded to dismiss the amount that I was so harshly promised. Totally missing the point that her director, Lauren has told me firmly I'm getting a refund for all the classes + the $40 registration fee in the amount of $242. And I DIDNT. ASKED again if their was an owner. Well she didn't know his extension and was very hesitant in giving his name. Finally got an email. We'll see if it right when I send this him, yelp, Facebook, Twitter All this over $40!! But parents should know what their getting into when signing up at the SGA. Hey, at least if you don't have your own insurance your family is fully covered here. And this huge facility has gotten lost in the whole principle of this situation and In making it right. This huge money taker would have only lost out on $120 extra dollar by making us families feel good about this business. And so I helplessly cashed the check. read more

My daughter loves gymnastics, and we have enjoyed watching her excel. She started when she was a toddler but took a break because willful toddler and meltdowns. But then rejoined when she turned four and have loved it ever since. Coach Alan was wonderful, a good balance of caring and directive coaching. I give it four stars because in the past few months we have had issues with classes canceling due to low census or coaches leaving (college students) and the times have not been ideal for our now school-aged child's schedule; however, super accommodating and helpful staff and we found a time that works. Very competent coaches. Nice facility and good for multiple levels - fun, learn, compete. Glad to be a part of SGA. read more

The quality of the gym depends on your coach and your child. Do not bring your toddler here if they are outgoing. I've been bringing my daughter here for years, and she's enjoyed it, but my son is much more energetic and has a hard time with his not fun coach. My experience with his coach has been ... lackluster and today was the last straw. Since I am with him in his class, I'm able to observe the coach. There is very little direction and a lot of expectation. I hated having to hear the coach indirectly and directly call my son crazy and other negative comments for being a regular two year old. I'm always leaving the gym feeling deflated, and guilty for not having a perfect well behaved child. Today, in front of other parents and children, she scolded him with a finger in his face and told him if he lost the bean bags in the foam pit he would have to buy her new ones. She saw my distaste in her behavior and quickly added, " I need to be stern with him". Uhh no, you don't. Maybe if this was bootcamp for the military and not a recreational class for a two year old, I'd understand. I dropped them both out, (beware they need a month notice), and changed his coach for the remaining month. We have had one sub who used to coach my daughter, (Tara) who is phenomenal, and she really engaged with the kids and made it fun for them. Horrible staff, so rude. They wont let parent to go inside to watch what they teach the kids. They dont do any make up class or would give you a refund. I just wanted to respond to the manager. Touching as in spotting and keeping kids safe is one thing, and is a good thing. Gripping my son's arms as you are lecturing him is NOT spotting and is NOT for safety. It was a violation of his personal space. He was not in an unsafe situation, she just PERCEIVED that he was not going to follow the rules (and note that I said "not going to" because he had actually not violated any rule he'd been told at that point). If this is the owner's response, I can see why they don't think anything is wrong. I should have been contacted by the owner, I should have been offered an apology. My kid was really upset by what happened and it was NOT about safety at all - it was overstepping of boundaries by an employee. The parents are your bread and butter. In the least you say, "yeah, that mom was out of line but go apologize because she's our customer." But to defend a staff member gripping my child by the arms and lecturing him is unconscionable. He was not in an unsafe situation, he had not made another child unsafe. He had SIMPLY not been aware of the rules, been made aware of the rules then the manager had thought he was about to violate them. He never did break any of the rules before she grabbed him. If he had been breaking the rules or unsafe I would have had little problem with staff talking to him, and probably would have talked to him myself. Now when he goes there he goes full-blast down the tumble track at top speed, arrives at the stopping point and skids to a halt, the exact SAME thing he was doing when he was grabbed by the staff member EXCEPT she didn't even wait to see if he was going to stop before jumping. He's traumatized by what happened and is very aware of making sure not to break the rules. We've never discussed this with him, never brought it up, so this is ALL from that horrid interaction where he was shamed and scared by a staff member. There are many people in the SGA reviews who mention arrogance. This response from the owner encapsulates that arrogance. No apology, no "we've taken steps to fix things", not even an "I'm sorry that happened." No asking if my son is okay. Not even a basic apology on YELP stating he's sorry about our negative experience, even if he's going to stand by his staff. Just justifying grabbing my kid in a inappropriate manner under the guise of safety. I'm lowering my stars to ONE. read more

My daughter has been coming here for 3 years now and we love it. Yes, the place smells like old feet. Yes, a few pieces of equipment needs to be replaced. Yes, the metal bleachers are the most uncomfortable things to sit on in the universe. Yes, a few of the instructors are arrogant and one girl at the front desk is beyond rude (talkin' 'bout you, Blondie). Yes, it is one of the most expensive extra-curricular activities in Seattle. But my daughter has learned some amazing skills! Aside from the cool gymnastic moves, she has learned discipline, patience, persistence, and how to take instruction/constructive criticism. She has become extremely toned: when she is just in her leotard she looks like a miniature body-builder. The strength she has built up here has really helped her in her other sports. If your kid doesn't get along well with one instructor, have her/him moved to another class until you find a good fit. We found an instructor (Tamara) who just "clicks" with my daughter and she has improved immensely since. *Edit* I've upped my rating to 5-stars because I've noticed that the foot-like smell is, in fact, not as noticeable anymore. HORRIBLE. I usually don't write reviews, but thought this was warranted and a cautionary note for all parents. First time here and called in advance to understand how the drop in schedule worked. I was told to pre-register, super helpful--as I was told it would help the check in process. Drove all the way there and arrived 10 minutes after the noon class started. When we arrived it was full- at capacity of 60 students. Understandable- yes. What was terrible is NO WHERE on the website, nor when speaking on the phone with one of the front desk people did they mention a capacity limit. Seattle Gymnastics- please train your people to let new parents know and also, add this to your website and class descriptions. It would have saved me an hour round trip. read more

I went to an adult class here once to check out the class (first trial is free). There were only a handful of us unfortunately. I always find that more is merrier and fewer is just awkward. The instructor was an older fellow in his early 50s who used to be a gymnast and was still as agile as anything and really fun and friendly. The recreational gym has all the basic equipment but the 40 x 40 floor has really lost its spring. I went ahead anyways for a quick tumble and thought my 31-year old wrists and ankles were going to crumble at the end of it. They do have a tumbltrak though (long narrow trampoline basically) which is fun but not something I've adjusted to yet, but will have to if I still endeavor to be a geriatric gymnast. The foam pit in this gym is a bit smaller too. The instructor mentioned that one of the two adult classes (there are two per week) gets students from Seattle University who are part of a gymnastics club so they often move the class to the team gym 3 blocks away where there is more equipment for big kids and a much better floor. I really want to come back but the drop in rate is quite hefty and I can't quite commit to getting a several hundred dollar punch card that makes the classes cheaper (in the long run if you stick with it). I wish they would let us drop in on a cash basis for a less ridiculous rate (it worked out to about double per class I think). It would also be nice if more people knew about the class so that more folks would come. read more

We have attended SGA Lakecity since Dec. 2015. There have been ups and downs. The last year was going great. Until with no warning my granddaughters program was canceled. We started at this gym when my oldest was maybe 4 (he's now 11.5) just to get my son moving and used to what he could do with his body and it was great! However, other activities took over and we stopped going...but now we are back and it's still a great experience! This time it's my third child going and we enrolled him because he just has too much energy and climbs everything in sight. It's amazing watching how the program works over the weeks and how great an instructor Alan is for an often distracted group of boys. At first you start to wonder how the rotations are going to work with kids at that age that naturally are not very focused and then you start to realize how they are slowly but steadily building strength and understanding how to move their bodies to achieve certain goals. Each week they do a little bit more to build on what they did the previous week until you can see your sons start to figure out how to flip themselves up onto a bar as an example. It's been great for my son who is also so much better behaved at the program than at home. He responds well to Alan's tutelage and the program in general. Alan is also able to recognize when he is getting frustrated with a skill because he's having a hard time trying to do it (doesn't happen often) and stops to talk him through his emotions so that he can happily try again...usually to a successful result. read more

$10 for an hour of indoor playground is pretty steep. If you do plan on going, make sure to get there at least 15 minutes early because the parking lot is always full and the lines to pay can get pretty long. The staff is always nice and helpful at the different stations at the gym. One thing I've noticed, and we've been there about 5 times sporadically, is that my 20 month old daughter always comes down with something after leaving that gym. Every single time. They need to do a better job of disinfecting their equipment and keeping things clean, as it is for ages 0-5. read more

I am deeply troubled by a recent account I heard about a 5 year old being expelled from your preschool program because of disrespectful statements he made about the president. Further, the mother indicates that she was given almost no warning. I would appreciate a formal statement either denying or explaining your decision. This is from the mother: My son has attended Seattle Gymnastics Academy for nearly 2 years. He is 5 and attended their preschool. Well apparently ever since the election he's been saying things like Donald Trump is stupid. I was told 1 time, but honestly didn't think much of it. Well last Friday I got an email from the preschool director expelling my son from school, gymnastics, and any future birthday parties. I begged them to reconsider, but they said I was coaching him to say these things, which I have not. I did share my opinion with him that I didn't think DT would not be a good choice and we even made a ballot for Hillary that he turned into the voting center to a kind police officer. Anyway, the point is our life is seriously disrupted without child care and I may lose my job that I started last week. I wanted to share with the group because I'm feeling rather alone and helpless. read more

My son did gymnastics here from age 6-15. He was on the recently dissolved boy's team. The coaching he received was great. However, the owner looks at children through the lens of money. And big gymnasts need bigger equipment and cost more. The owner chose to eliminate the boys program after competition season had begun and in a critical year of competition for my son. This after years of denying the boys chalk, telling us that better equipment was coming. And telling us that space for real gymnastics for boys was coming. He will say that he still has a "team". Don't believe him. We did, and look where it got us. As a place for your young child to run around and get exercise, it's great. And most of the staff are wonderful. However, if you have a boy and you think that gymnastics is going to be his sport, move him to another gym as quickly as you can. read more

Wow! this place is great! Every day from 11:30am to 12:45pm they have their Indoor Playground for kids 1 to 5 and the kids have a blast running around, jumping, swinging, climbing, and going crazy. They'll burn off lots of energy for a guaranteed nap! read more

This is not about the equipment, but the nasty person at the front desk and the poor instructions on the website. I decided to take my toddler to the indoor playground. After spending the morning getting him whooped up, we made the journey across town to the gym. We were there right as open playground was supposed to start. We were told it was full. Since playgrounds don't typically have limits, we hadn't considered this. I asked the lady why the website didn't make it obvious that this was a possibility. She opened the main site, clicked through to the Ballard site, clicked through to the indoor playground site and scrolled down to the 69th line of text. "I don't see how it could be more explicit than this," she said snarkily. Thank you! This is of course just what a parent of a disappointed toddler wants to hear from a facility that is supposed to have some understanding of the dynamics of how fun walking back the promise will be. I understood turning us away, but being nasty was not necessary. . When you disappoint a customer and it in part happens because he relied on your materials (or at least a reasonable understanding of how a someone might read them), this kind of behavior is unwise and unkind. She wouldn't last a day at Starbucks or any company concerned about customer service image. (One hopes she doesn't teach the children!). And, for the record, a disclaimer that requires moving through multiple encyclopedic pages and then reading 68 lines of poorly laid out text to get to it is hardly "explicit" by any consumer standard. Even legal documents don't get read at that level of comprehensiveness. There is also zero indication on the website that you can buy tickets ahead of time, which is the reason we were excluded. As far as it appears, the gym opens for this playground event at noon. Apparently the sales happen beforehand. It would have been helpful to note this. HORRIBLE Customer Service - This review is not about the quality of their services, rather the quality of their customer service. We booked our 5 year old for a 3 day camp/clinic from 4/15/13 - 4/17/13. Our son woke up on the first morning and was noticeably very sick. We, obviously, didn't think it would be a good idea to take him to gymnastics where he'd physically exert himself and possibly get other kids sick. We assumed that, being an establishment that deals with children, and knowing that children often get sick, there would be reasonable policy for this scenario. My wife called and spoke to some one who said they would check w/ the director on a possible credit for the future, and my wife also left a voice mail for director. Later, we were told that nothing can be done. No credit, no refund. Just nothing. We were also told that we "should have called" even though my wife did call AND left the message for the director. This was our first experience with this company. Obviously, also our last. If you have kids, don't book anything in advance, you won't get anything from them, even if something reasonable comes up. read more

First off, I am NOT a mother of a dedicated competitive gymnast, but I have been taking my 3 1/2 year old daughter here since she outgrew Gymboree at about 2 years old. At 3 she is the height of a 5 year old, so I have more hopes of her learning coordination and body awareness than becoming a professional gymnast. What I appreciate about SGA is that they do teach real gymnastics focused disciplines, even from preschool ages. It seems that a lot of other toddler/preschool movement activities out there all do the same thing (i.e. Throw the scarves! Let's pretend we're butterflies! Dance to the music!), but here your money gets something specific. My daughter absolutely loves her class and asks to go every day, so I am happy. We've moved around coaches from session to session- a couple have been duds, but once you find one or two you like you can just sign up for those classes. Yes, the metal bleachers are uncomfortable, but there are a few other regular chairs around. No, the gym isn't shiny and new, but it is sanitary and safe. The website is horrible, and every time registration comes around there seems to be an issue that I need to call about, but the staff is polite if not mega friendly. I have heard other moms talk about the SGA in Ballard and how they are clamoring just to get their kids on wait lists there. I am equidistant from both locations, and much prefer the relaxed atmosphere that the Lake City location provides for my 3 year old. read more

We go here because it's the only game in town that offers gymnastics for kids at my kids' level, but they are not organized and they are not considerate about the schedules of busy families. Their policy of no refunds is overly stern and their makeup schedule is ridiculously limited. I have to call them over and over again to get information; their website is busy and hard to read. If there was any other local option, I'd try it in a heartbeat. Wow, I'm really surprised by all the negative reviews of SGA Lake City here. We have been going here for years (open gym, classes, birthday parties, parents night out) and have always had a very positive experience. The coaches have been great and my daughter has learned so much and gained a lot of self-confidence. I've found the front-desk staff to be very friendly and helpful. My only complaints are: I wish there was a separate changing area for girls so they don't have to use the bathrooms to change, and I wish they would invest in a projector and screen for showing movies during parents nights out. More comfortable chairs for parents waiting for their kids would be nice too. But overall we love our Lake City SGA! read more

We had a very disappointing experience! The instructor was very negative throughout the class. Our daughter cried at the end of that class, feeling bad about herself. I have the feeling the place has the posture of an Olympics level preparation Gym that is geared toward the elite, can this be true? I thought it is about learning gymnastics and having fun! Don't bring your child here if you care about their self confidence. In the end they will not be a professional gymnast and also feel bad about themselves. We did our daughters bday party here and it was a great experience. The staff was very helpful and they're really nice, what I also like is that we could bring our own food and cake and we don't have to have some cardboard pizza like most gymnastics or jumping places. The worst customer service in U.S. you could imagine Today is July 23 2013. I just had the worst experience ever with the customer service SGA at Lake City this afternoon. I called them around 2:30 pm to find out if I could registered my 4-year-old girl. Our family will go travel in two weeks but the rest of the summer class were for four weeks. So I asked the lady who answered my call if I could have two make-up lessons (in this and next weeks) in addition to the one regular lesson every Thursday. She asked me to hold so she could ask someone else. And then she came back and told me yes. So I paid $119 for 4 lessons by credit card. 5 minutes later I called back to arrange one make-up lesson and I was told I couldn't do make-up lesson!!! I was so in shock. I told her what happened earlier and emphasized I would not likely to pay for 4 classes while I can only attend two. I was not happy they said one thing earlier and one thing completely different minutes later so I asked them to refund me. And the lady said she couldn't. They doesn't like to refund what they charged me minutes ago!! I told her if she didn't refund me I would call the credit card company to cancel the payment. So she asked her manager to talk with me. This gets even worse. Her manage said she heard clearly one of her employee told me I couldn't do the make up class when I call the first time. OMG, I couldn't believe my ears she just made things up. Then why I wanted to pay 4 classes if I just can attend two. The manager insisted I misunderstood them. Such being the case I said the payment is based on misunderstanding and I have the right to request for refund. Otherwise I will ask my credit card company to handle it. So the manage said:" If we refund you, could you not come again?". I just wanted my money back and I said yes. At the end she added:" We will refund you and we will also make a note so this kid will not come to our place ever!" Can you believe that?! What a horrible customer service and terrible manager. I've only been here for the open play gym for kids under age 5. This place seems to have so much potential. However... The gym has an overwhelming reek of bacterial feet. I came with 4 adult friends and our respective toddlers, and we all agreed that we weren't sure we could last the full hour in that stench. I would hope management takes a good look at the gym's cleaning schedule because it needs to be disinfected more thoroughly and regularly. Kids must be barefoot, parent could wear socks. The staff, however, was wearing their sneakers. Hmmm... maybe they're aware of the bacterial problem there? The open gym hours has a few strict rules for kids safety, which is great. Some staff members enforced the rules, others weren't really paying much attention. The few staff members I conversed with seemed pleasant enough. The check-in process seemed well organized and thorough. Prices were reasonable. I'd love to take my daughter here for a gymnastics class, but I'm really put-off by the smell. I was fortunate enough to be told about Seattle Gymnastics academy. It has been the perfect place to take my 2 year old when the rains are coming down and I am looking for a place to let her "get some energy out". The staff had always been extremely friendly and I would recommend it to anyone with small children read more

Not as advertised! We picked up a flyer for birthday parties at Seattle Gymnastics academy. Within a month we booked a party. 2 days later the terms of the party came. The price had dramatically increased. They no longer provided goodie bags (a $100 value to me) and the party time was shorter than advertised. We called and the supervisor would only give us $50 off the new price (still higher than advertised) and the deposit (almost full price of party) is nonrefundable. Feeling taken and up a creek without a paddle. The party will have to be pretty spectacular to overcome this. read more

I want to preface this by saying that I think the level of commitment from the teachers seems strong. They are serious about gymnastics and provide lots of opportunity for growth and competition. That said, I found the front desk staff unfriendly and a bit cold. Perhaps it's due to having rigid policies (amusingly ironic) or just having to deal with so many students, but they aren't very flexible about scheduling and make ups, and as stated earlier, they lack quality customer care service. One other thing: I quit taking my daughter who, at 4 years old, injured her back there. The response I got from the teacher was a bit defensive, like I was going to sue her. No, I wouldn't, but at least an acknowledgement that something might have happened (they were in the back room and I couldn't see). The attitude about injuries is it's your problem and don't bother us about it. I took my daughter to chiropractic and cranio sacral sessions several times before it seemed to resolve, also worked on her myself, since I am a massage therapist. Not sure whatr the SGA is all about. Signed up my 4 year old in pre hot shots and have not gotten any mention on progress or programs. They were certainly efficient with calling me at work to get my charge card for the classes since her grandma takes her to classes. Her grandma says it seems like I'm paying for what she normally does on a playground. My tennis club's kids tennis instructor certainly wouldn't get a away with that.!!! I don't expect my child or anyone's to be in the Olympics but they sure don't seem to track or report the child's progress when I'm paying more than the tennis club's lesson fees. I wished SGA would get on the ball and give the parent's some weekly feedback; otherwise, the playground is a better deal. read more

I was not pleased with this place at all. My child and I went for open play and the other moms/caregivers seemed very unfriendly and arrogant. Also, one staff member told me the rules for the foam pit. I thought I was following them correctly until another staff member reprimanded me for doing what I thought was correct. Needless to say I will not return and will not recommend SGA. read more

We have loved taking our preschool aged son to class here. It's very close to our home and we have loved coach Tarah, as she emphasizes greatly on technical discipline, which as former athletes we understand really to be the building blocks to agility athletics. We recently had him move into the all boys class with coach Tom and there he is finding new challenges. Coach Tom works the boys in other aspects like muscle building and preparing them for what boy gymnasts specialize in. Our son impressed us at just 3 years old with his inclined push-ups (never having done a regular push-up). We do like the staff and as we spend more time there are getting to know other parents. We are very thankful for this facility and appreciate what it is adding to our sons experiences. read more

Terrible! They changed the waiver form and now there is NO way to opt out of your child's picture being used for their marketing materials. I signed the other parts of the waiver, but SGA said if you don't sign the photo release they will kick my child out of the class, which is a threat. At all other schools, there is always a way to opt out of photo release. Absolutely unacceptable!! read more
