This Marriott location in Bellevue, WA is conveniently located near restaurants, shops, businesses, and grocery stores. COVID has prevented the availability of the M Club but I am glad they finally have allowed the fitness facility to open by reservation. The room on the 15th floor has a nice view of downtown, is very quiet, and modernized from bathrooms to the electrical outlets. The parking is 20 dollars per day but private and secure. The staff are very hospitable, polite, and professional. I like the ergonomic design of the rooms. The lobby is still closed for public gatherings bit overall a good place to stay if you need access or have business in Bellevue. read more

A fantastic hotel in Bellevue. Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The rewards lounge has a good selection of snacks and a great breakfast. Wish it included beer as a benefit but oh well. No swimming pool but a fitness room with the basics. The one area that they take advantage of people is parking. They built this from the ground up and clear that from day one they wanted to gouge people here and make it valet only- disappointing in a way that they want to take advantage of guests... no excuse at all for not making it self parking with more stalls. read more

We were exhausted from traveling and came in to drop our bags before check in. The woman we spoke to was a little rude, but we wandered for a few hours and returned at 3. We were told by a different employee, Rocky, that our room wasn't ready yet and we waited for quite some time downstairs. She apologized for our wait and offered us complimentary drinks at the bar which made our wait much easier. Our room was finally ready after waiting an hour, we went to our room, and the view was prison-like. My wife went downstairs and talked to Rocky. We had come to Seattle for our anniversary specifically to see the leaves changing and we couldn't see anything from our window. Rocky was amazing and switched our room to the 10th floor with a gorgeous view. We had some troubles, but all of them were alleviated specially because Rocky provides such excellent customer service. I have been staying at this Marriott Hotel for business for about two years now. Being that it is a full service hotel, there are certain expectations. Granted, COVID has hit all businesses hard but this particular hotel has not recovered in the least. Check in at the front desk was mostly normal albeit not very friendly. . .almost like you're waking them up from their nap when you arrive. 9;30pm on a Saturday night, no bar, no restaurant food. Ok, I'll wait for breakfast. I'l get to that in a bit. I go to my room, unpack, try to plug in a few electronics. Electrical outlet doesn't work. . ok, I'll try another. That one doesn't work either. Three outlets in the room do not work. At the work station/desk, electrical outlet to plug in laptop does not work. I have to go under the desk, unplug the TV and use the wall outlet to plug in my computer. Whatever. . I'll get in bed and have a good night's sleep. After about two hours, I wake up to find the unfitted bottom sheet wrapped around me like a burrito. I get up to remake the bed to find that the sheet is about four inches too small on either side of the bed. One positive about the room. . the air conditioning is very nice. Hungry, I wake up to go down for breakfast around 7:30. No one in the restaurant so I just sit down at the bar. They have one guy working the entire restaurant, he comes over with a small, I mean SMALL, laminated menu. Typical high hotel breakfast prices for a not very good omelet. The restaurant at this point in the post-pandemic world seems like an afterthought. The adage 'If you build it, they will come' reverberates through my head as I am sitting there. I realize that businesses have cut costs. . but at some point, they are going to need to spend money on service in order for people to want to come back. This hotel is missing the mark exceedingly. I was in town for a wedding and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Pro: First, great location. Easy to walk around Downtown Bellevue and not too far from Seattle. Second, seems to be recently updated. The rooms were spacious and I loved the wood floors vs the usually hotel carpet. Third, breakfast included at the M lounge on the first floor. Fourth, staff were very friendly and answered all of our questions. Lastly, I loved that the shower head was adjustable to height. My b/f is on the taller side, so he loves this feature. The hotel was very clean and well kept. Cons: I really wish there was a pool, however I realize most people who stay at this hotel don't have that as a priority. Second, the breakfast could be a little better. It was your usually watery pre-made eggs, greasy bacon and sausage. Lastly, parking was $30/night. Tips: there is $10 garage parking about a block away. No need to buy water if you are a Marriott Rewards participant. They have water/sodas/coffee/snacks available for free. Where to start.... Day #1. I arrive at the hotel at 7am to check in for a reservation I had booked a week ago, and they can't find it. After 30 mins of them trying, I decide to leave my bags and head to work because I was running late and was already stressed out. It was evening and I still hadn't received any news. So, I call them and after a while they figure it out. Tuens out they had not communicated my reservation to the branch. So long for dependability when you need it. Night #1. The water from the faucet goes from scalding hot to freezing cold. There is no option in between. Day #2. I wake up to take a shower. The shower is the same as the faucet with only scalding hot and freezing cold I come back from a long day and options. I decide to take an ice cold shower. Haha but no! Turns out the shower switches from cold to hot at random moments on its own all throughout my shower. What a perfect way to start your day!! Night #2 I come back at from a long day at work . I decide i'll have something to eat at the restaurant and work some more. I order an old fashioned and a steak cooked medium rare. The old fashioned tasted like cheap booze and the steak was medium to well done. In the meanwhile, i'm trying to connext to the wifi. It's impossible. The error is on their side (500 internal server error) however they insist it's my laptop. They bring a tech support guy. They are following pre-canned instructions from some offshore call center. For 1:30 hours they are trying to connect me doing the most nonsensical procedures all while i'm telling them to try a different way to login which they insist is impossible. Throughout the whole time the guy at the front desk is treating me like i'm some kind of isiot and i dont know better. By this time i'm already pissed and in no mood to work anymore. They agree to try the different way that i have been proposing. It works.... They wish me a good night. No apology. No complimentary anything. Newer hotel in Bellevue within walking distance to shipping and dining. Rooms were spectacular - hardwood-style floors (no smelly carpet!), nice bathroom with dual-showerhead shower, and a very comfortable bed. Rooms come with a refrigerator (not many do these days in 'businessy' areas of town), which was a plus since I had a bottle of wine to chill. The TV was large (in thinking a 50"?). My only complaint was that I was told I had a Deluxe Room with a "City-View" and literally had a view of the condos/apartmentsnext door that were not very appealing to the eye. They were so clise that you could see inside each window - meaning they can probably see in yours too. So beware if you pay more for a view to ask for a higher level floor (I was on 6th). I asked the front desk why they would advertise it as having a view, and the guy really didn't have much of an explanation. I've stayed here a few nights while in town on business. It's fairly modern, the rooms are nice, and I enjoyed my stays. Room service was quick and courteous. As seems to be all the rage with the major hotel chains these days, the lobby is a mixture of casual seating that blends into dining area. It makes for a great photo but when filled with the evening or morning crowd trying to grab a drink/bite to eat becomes a bit crowded. read more

Gold used to.have club access but no more, now Platinum... 25 nights means nothing and the rooms have vinyl flooring and smell like mm end colonge... Rooms are fine, clean, and well appointed. Large restaurant space with limited hours and options. 2 stars for the business center being a workstation stuffed in the corner of the restaurant that is unable to access Dropbox or Adobe in any form for viewing or printing documents, even by emailing to yourself. The browser is that outdated. Staff is unable or unwilling to provide an alternative solution. A wireless capable printer would solve the issue of having to go through a computer that is sufficient for viewing photos of cats -- and not much else. read more

After reading other people's review I found my experience consistent with other folks- absolutely horrible. No self parking and valet is at $40 , this is not mentioned when I booked my hotel - I was trying to book the Marriott at Downtown and saw their parking was 40 so I am totally stupid by choosing the Bellevue location . End up trying to park at the garage a block away and found out that the $15 overnight is only up to 8am so had to move the car early next morning . The 1st night - water is leaking from bathroom so I could not fall asleep.. I did not want to bother staff during the middle of the night so I left note ( and tip!) in the room to see if someone can come and take a look at during room service. 2nd day: leave at 11am and come back 10pm - the room was not being serviced at all .. I have stayed at a lot of hotels and this is the first time that ever happened to me. Called front desk with no response. Had to shower with towel I left on the floor from last night and no water to drink and of course the leak was not fixed and this time the water temperature was random during shower. After several failed room phone attempt I used my cell to call reservation and finally I got transferred over to front desk for clean towels and water . A staff was able to bring these over . But that is it . 2 bottles of water and several clean towels that is all I get for my room not being serviced at all.. Will not come back!!! read more

Don't let the pretty fool you! Stayed here with our volleyball team over Memorial Day weekend. We had 2 adjoining rooms. While the place looks nice and has a beautiful facade, it's not that pretty on the inside. Upon checking in at 3:00 to 3:30, only one room was ready. No big deal, check in time is 4:00 anyway. We got the key to one room and waited in the lobby lounge for the other room. When I had my daughter go get the key for the other room, they said the adjoining room was no longer available and that we were getting a different room. I went to the front desk and let them know that was not acceptable. We got our adjoining room. Coming back around 3:00 from spending a day at the tournament, we found neither room had been serviced. I called housekeeping for towels and told them our room had not been serviced. They brought towels but still didn't service either room. Checking out Monday morning, I let the front desk know what was going on. They didn't seem to care which really irritated me. It was obvious they don't care. The previous morning they had coffee in the lobby and on Monday there was no coffee. I asked about it and they said you had to go in this locked breakfast room for coffee. I was pretty irritated so they let me in to get coffee. I caught the girl that unlocked the room smirking at the girl at the front desk because I was irritated. Nice. Now the bill..... One room was billed correctly and the other room was overcharged by $91.52. I called and got my refund. Needless to say, we won't be staying here again. read more

Probably the newest Marriott I've stayed at. Rooms and lobby are very modern and clean. This is better than the other Marriott locations around Bellevue/Redmond. I love the layout of the "open closet" to hang my jackets and shirts and with a shoe cubbies. The bed was plush and nice with solid down (I think) pillows and good sheets. TV was huge (55-60"). The bathroom was very modern and although I liked the style, the sink was a bit smaller, so I ended up splashing on myself when washing my face. The water temperature control was a bit of at the sink (room 1130) It was freezing until I got to 3/4 of the way over to hot, then it became immediately hotter than I like. My coworker in another room did not have issues with this. M lounge is located in the lobby instead of a concierge floor. The room was big and ambiance was nice. However breakfast food not seem that fresh. Good selection overall but could have had better quality. Lobby and restaurant staff were very courteous, as was the valet and bellmen. Overall is stay here again on my frequent trips to the area. Best Marriott property in the area. read more

Justin in the restaurant, Neshia in housekeeping, and Wanda in the M Lounge are incredible examples of customer service and are to be commended. They did their best and beyond during a very busy weekend. We were there Friday through Monday and saw the constant flow of guests, with understaffing in all departments. And these 3 remained poise and professional. The reason for the 1 less star is the manager, Lindsay. I asked to speak to her to compliment her staff, but it's obvious they rise above in spite of their poor leadership. Supposedly she was on a call then within a half hour she left. And I had told the front why I wanted to speak with her as well as where I could be found. But I guess Lindsay didn't receive the same customer service training the others did. read more

Once I arrived at the front of the queue, the friendly lady kindly informed me that I had received a complimentary upgrade because they had fully booked all standard kings. Nice! I thanked her and went on my merry way. The lobby is immaculate, same with the elevators, the hallways, and even the room! No shocker there. I was even more surprised by the quality of the food ordered from room service. Delightful! But this one was really good for the price, we stayed for 2 nights, the room floor was laminate and kept clean and almost like new. We rented a car so had to park valet, there is no self parking at this hotel But here is what happened with the valet ( I took off 1 sat for that)- we valet parked for 1 day but were charged for 2 days, $41 extra for valet parking per day. The room was clean, the front desk was helpful, but what they don't tell you is there is no parking at the hotel, unless you want to pay $37/night for valet. Also they have wifi... for $15/day. When we first arrived at the hotel, we pulled up to the front door and were told "this is valet only", okay so where do we park if we don't want valet "there's $15 somewhere around here". I wish the valet guys could have been just as nice as the front desk people. Also the phone in the room didn't work, we asked to get it fixed twice and the night stand didn't have power. Beautiful hotel with rooms that felt very new. Lots of USB outlets that were very convenient. For $160/night, I am very pleased. Docking a star off because you have to pay for parking / valet parking. There is street parking, but you may or may not get lucky. You would also need to move your car before 8AM. Hotel is nearby a lot of retail and restaurant amenities, that you can easily drive to within minutes. read more

Good, but needs some improvements. My main concern is lack of change tables in the downstairs/lobby restrooms. Having a family room (for parents to change kids and do their business) would be ideal, but at the very least the bathrooms (both men and women's) should have a change table. Using wet counter-top with others nearby is only so useful. You can tell they are still figuring things out (opened only a few weeks ago). The air conditioner has a mind of its own; it's also very loud. Even if you turn AC off, the forced air system is still quite loud. The rooms are mostly nice, although some furniture pieces are ugly beyond believe. The hotel stuff is friendly and helpful, which is great! All and all, this is a good hotel. Nothing to write home about, but nothing really bad either. Clearly was designed by a very utilitarian person, with a main focus on having multiple meeting rooms to milk nearby companies :) At that, I believe, they will succeed. Ps. Special shout out to Danny the valet, who is absolutely useless and should probably find another job. It may have been the most professional, thoughtful and well considered responses I've ever seen. There's nothing more I could possibly have expected- belongs it the first page of Customer Service 101 for any company that cares about it at the highest level. Increasingly rare in today's day and age. ** So... about the stay: Nice modern rooms, incredible mountain view on higher floors. Treated right for my rewards status. Smooth, accomodation and easy check in. Not the cheapest rates but I prefer quality over price when it comes to hotels, and it is only category 4 equivalent to category 6 properties downtown Seattle making it an excellent value with rewards redemption. Although this hotel is older I will compliment the hotel and staff by saying every time I stay here the rooms are clean, the bathrooms always ample towels, robes in closet, make up mirrors for ladies and organized hotel serves. This hotel is minutes from most restaurants and they offer free shuttle service for trips within a mile radius. There's valet service, a nice bar/restaurant, conference room services and much more. Valet was very friendly and accommodating as I had to run in and out a few times. Location was in a nice area- just don't be fooled by the name as this hotel is not in Seattle but about 30 mins away. Rooms are very elegant and modern but the rooms are on the small side. Made a reservation for 3 adults, a child, and a dog and they put us in a room with one king-sized bed. Luckily the sofa had a pull out bed but if JUST fit next to the regular bed. There's a bunch of furniture designed to be space-saving: tables and desks that are stackable and NO microwave. I would say the shower was maybe the best part of the room- fancy!! They gym is nice and spacious with a good amount of cardio and weight machines- probably the nicest one I've seen at a hotel in a while. I don't agree with their "mandatory valet" policy which is an added fee to your stay ($35 per car, per night). And I can't believe there's no pool!! For the price you pay, I expected a little more but it was still a very nice and relaxing stay. read more

I got married yesterday and my husband and I received a night in the Marriott as a wedding gift. We thought that the hotel itself was just ok, pretty cookie cutter layout and more suited for just a business trip stay. However, the young lady who checked us in was AMAZING and made our night. Ai found out it was our wedding day and she asked a couple of questions about our plans for the night. Then when we came back from dinner we walked in to our room to find a hand written note from her congratulating us, accompanied by chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. I was hoping that she was working the next day so that we could thank her but she was not, so we are writing a review. Overall was pretty clean, the bed was comfortable, shower was nice, valet parking is convenient even though it costs $35 per night. The bar in the lobby is nice enough and makes a good margarita. Unpleasantly surprised to find that they offer no coffee to the guests at any time of day, pretty weak for a four star hotel. I also tried ordering room service one night around 11pm but was told the chef went home early despite the kitchen stating it was open until 12am. The sink in the bathroom is so shallow that water splashed everywhere. The air vent was blowing out dust. I went onto Priceline to pick a 4 star hotel when visiting Bellevue. I arrived on a Saturday to find that there was NO ROOM SERVICE. NO BAR OPEN in whole building NO BELL SERVICE. for the WHOLE weekend!!! and was told by the front desk that this is done due to low occupancy as they are full Monday thru Thursday !!! also the wireless phone in my room did not work ( had to use the speaker function). My wife soaked the whole bathroom turning on the shower ( the handheld had been left on) and the faucet isn't really easy to turn off. In addition they charged me $14 a DAY and $42 for parking. all this for 15% off rack rate! BE AWARE read more

Clean rooms and nice customer service. There's no swimming pool but apparently you can ask to use the pool at their sister hotel down the street. Decent wine list too, but $24 for a GLASS of Sonoma Chardonnay is outrageous. If you're there between 3-6 it's $2 off a glass but $22 for a glass of wine is still insane when you can buy a bottle for under $30. Honestly, I don't know where to start between Bed Bugs eating my partner and myself and the rudest customer service I have ever recieved. I would rate this place a zero star. My partner and I have multiple bites all over our bodies from a night stay. The management when we called them to complain did not want to move us rooms. The night manager made a snide comment that we were trying to getter a better view. I showed her the bites on my arm and she still pushed we keep the room that there are no bed bugs in Washington and that they have never had a problem/complaint ever she called an engineer over to have him state there are no bugs and the could not get someone to inspect the room. Finally, she agreed to let us move rooms at this point my partner just wanted to move hotels as this was 1 in the dawn and we had been itching like crazy and unable to sleep plus the lack of customer service for a supposedly 4-star hotel was a joke. We moved rooms and she called to let us know that the team found a bug but it was not "bed bugs" it was something else. They refused to let us know what they had found. At this point, we decided to go see a doctor who confirmed that we had bed bug bites. I went to the hotel asking to have our things laundred. Called was told the manager was not there went to the location the day manager Melissa was a joke who explained they didn't have bugs and that she could not do anything about our stuff or the 4 days we paid. That they were doing an investigation and would "let us know". I explained that we were now out medical fees and laundry fees and now I have bites all over my body. She tried to state that it was someplace else that gave us the bites even tho they showed up the morning after our first stay. This who thing has been a nightmare we're management refuses to communicate and shows that this place is lower than a motel 6 on a bad day. read more

Nice property. However some housekeeping" issues". My room was not clean upon arriving. The beds were made and there were clean towels, but the floor in the shower was gross, the floor in the room was dirty and hairy, and the sink was clogged. I received a very heartfelt apology, but that did not fix the problem. Everyone I dealt with at the hotel was extremely nice. Security guard made us feel uncomfortable just checking in constantly staring at me and my wife in hijab WHILE helping someone else, hot water had to be fixed which was an hour ordeal, no cards upon check in so we had to be escorted to and fro our room, I was told security needs to come up and do a "wellness" check INSIDE THE ROOM citing the Las Vegas shooting which I refused sternly. I am not white in a mainly white business district. Does it look like I'm the Vegas shooter? This is unacceptable and has made my stay uncomfortable and unnerving in light of the recent attacks on Muslims. But y'all don't care. I never had an experience like this at a Marriot! I stayed here for 4 nights for an extended weekend trip. What I received was a very clean and modern room with a nice television (with the ability to watch Netflix and Hulu with your own subscription). The cleaning service was prompt, and the amenities such as the fitness center were awesome - they even offered free headphones when using the treadmills! Also, there is a grocery store across the street and a world-class mall less than a mile away. The reason that I'm writing this review is that I see a lot of reviews regarding the parking situation. I stayed Thursday to Sunday night and I thought this was honestly a minimal problem. There is plenty of 2 hour street parking around the hotel (they regulate it from 7-6 pm). If you move your car by 9AM and arrive by 4PM at night, you should be able to avoid paying the $35 fee that Marriott charges per day. Ultimately, do not let the parking sway you away from this hotel. They offer cheap rates through Expedia, and I ultimately thought this was a great value! I would come again. read more
