This was a terrible experience. We picked up an RV and upon arriving to our campsite we noticed a…read morerip in the awning. We immediately called five star and reported the damage and they said they would note it and take care of it. We now just got our security deposit back with $250 less because of awning damage. I would rent an rv from somewhere else, Justin the service manager cursed at me on the phone and hung up after I asked him for the protocol for damage transactions. There are many different places to rent RVs from and I would highly advise that you choose a different place. This is some of the worst customer service and disrespect I have ever received.

Dear Friends, Run....run the other way as fast as you can. I…read morerefuse to write a long diatribe of a Yelp review as I am a small business owner myself, but trust me when I say that I have had an out of the box horrible experience with this company; and I am usually beyond patient with these types of things -Broken down RV including busted kitchen extenders (that you had to physically push out and pull in), light fixtures falling out, broken power steering, water pump not being set correctly, charging plug out, radio didn't work, mattress was too long for bed, so rear hatch wouldn't shut correctly, on and on and on (I'm sure I'm forgetting things). All of this was after being told that we had a "premium" RV. -Super shady up front costs on initial rental (went from $1500 to almost $3000) - Guy tried run an insurance claim on a flat tire. Guy also tried to run an $8000 claim on light damage to rear bumper from a motorist that tagged the back while we were away from vehicle. I'm not a body guy, but I've done enough car repair to know that this was clearly fraudulent. -When I tried to call to see where my refund was for $300 deductible on claim, I had to leave three separate messages with the guy who could barely speak English at the front desk, before finally had to call and demand to speak with the owner. This was over three weeks time. Again, I do not write Yelp reviews lightly and being a fellow business owner it took me a lot to get pushed over the edge enough to write this, but seriously an all around awful experience. Run

They blame corporate for draconian…read moreimplementation of policy, but it's not a corporate problem.., Cruise America is great it's just this location that has poor values and attempts to maximize their own receipts by hitting you with anything they can. Other Cruise America locations are very helpful and accommodating in scheduling return times without being sticklers and charging you late fees understanding that the customer is working hard to bring the RV in for landing clean, fueled and dumped... Everett should support the customer in concluding their trip successfully not punishing and penalizing the final leg of the journey. The Everett location knows full well that the nearest dump locations are permanently closed and they are using that to profit rather than provide realistic solutions for their customers... they say they're not responsible for providing that information, but the corporate policy is that you should be able to ask the local branch for nearest dump locations and that the information should be furnished to you readily. They also are lagging in cleaning and maintenance... with sticky smelly upholstery and screws coming loose all over from vehicle age and vibration. Fees should be there for customers who bring it back damaged, filthy or 4+ hours late not customers who do their best to be in on time, communicate and ask for support enroute and who bring units back cleaner than received. It's a culture problem at this location not a corporate issue.

I would like to share my experience with this RV repair shop…read more 1. The towing system installation in 2020 In 2020, I came to this shop to have a towing system installed on my RV. I was given an estimate of around $3,000. However, when I picked up my RV, I was told that I had to pay several hundred dollars more for additional charges that had never been discussed with me beforehand. It is not about the amount of money. It is about the way the business was handled. I felt that I had been misled and treated unfairly. 2. The toilet repair More recently, we were charged over $400 to repair the toilet ball, which was not closing properly. However, when we picked up the RV, we were told that the newly repaired toilet ball still could not automatically close completely. We were told that after every flush, we would have to use our foot or hand to manually lift the pedal to make it close. Seriously? After paying more than $400 for a repair, we were told that we still had to manually operate the toilet after every flush. Considering this issue, together with the problems described below, I no longer had confidence in allowing this shop to perform additional work on our RV. I asked for a partial refund so that I could have a qualified technician properly complete the repairs, but my request was refused. 3. The additional repair work We were originally given an estimate of around $1,000 for several items. However, we were ultimately charged more than $2,500. Unfortunately, several problems remained: * The newly replaced plastic cover still had a crack. * The replacement generator control board still did not display the generator hours. * Although we were not charged for it, the water system was apparently not properly checked and returned to a usable condition. When we added water to the tank after bringing the RV home, the water immediately leaked out from underneath the RV. * We later discovered that the water tank system had not been properly set up for use. After all of these experiences, how could we possibly feel comfortable leaving our RV with this shop for additional repairs? For me, this is no longer about the money. It is about honesty, quality of workmanship, communication, and trust. I trusted this shop to properly repair and inspect our RV, but my experience left me feeling that my trust was not respected. I will not do business with this shop again.
