I went into the website and was able to fill out a contact form - quick & easy! The staff began contacting me the next day, then I booked and discussed pricing. Not bad pricing, as I don't have insurance, but have a reimbursement program in my blue collar job... $350 for exam, and cleaning! They do accept various insurances!!! Unfortunately, I missed my bus transfer... I was so worried I wouldn't make it to be seen, however, being 25 mins late was okay! Not that am normally late, but it's nice to have Dentists understand we're human!!! They did everything very throughly!!! I had a discussion after the cleaning about ALL my teeth!!! I only bother with reviews if my experience is either REAL BAD, or REAL GOOD. To my pleasant surprise, without exaggeration, this was the best teeth cleaning experience I've had in my 30+ years of life. Jennica, who polished my teeth was very friendly and clear about her assessment of my teeth. Then Dr. Mark did my teeth cleaning. My previous dentist always got the job done but it always hurt and was very stressful. Dr. Mark managed to get the job done, but also did it with WAY less pain and stress. He often verbally checked in with me during the process to make sure I was comfortable. Afterwards, he gave me his assessment, showed me the X-rays of my teeth, and answered questions I had. Genuinely impressed. After the assessment of my teeth today, and conversation about how to further maintain, they recommended a "deep cleaning." Firstly, the description of what a dental "deep cleaning" is honestly horrifying, but that can't be helped. But while normally I'd feel skeptical, because I hate people trying to upsell things to me I don't need, he showed me the exact anomalous areas on the x-rays that prompted the recommendation, and I could see it for myself. He explained it in layman's terms, answered my questions, and never put any pressure. Fantastic experience--the friendliness (without being overly so), the focus on my comfort and minimal pain/stress, and the clear discussions and answers to my questions... it all prompted me to even bother to writing this review immediately after my teeth cleaning. read more

I had a broken #9 tooth and went here to get a quick exam and found out they had time ON THE SAME DAY to get it fixed. Day one build up, next day finish. AWESOME! If you could call it a down side, there is no "90 days same as cash" like there used to be in the old days, and care credit only goes up to $2,000. I'm not down on paying 26% on my teeth! So I just paid cash. I had to save up $$$ for this. Nothing is more important than your health, and good dental work is part of that. Dr. Goraya has top ratings and is extremely knowledgeable, not to mention her office is only 75 yards away from my house. Awesome. Top recommendation (you will need to leave your financial information with them because it's not free. That's the price you have to pay for not waiting six months for a low-income or dental student exam at the UW. Definitely worth the cost!). Love is the receptionist. That's her name, not the noun. Very friendly disposition and attentive to all the goings-on here. (There is an adequate parking lot in front, but you have to turn off N. I was a patient here for over 8 years, and I used to trust this office. Unfortunately, their quality has plummeted over the last year and a half, and it cost me dearly. I had a few fillings and a crown done over the past year+. The work was so poorly executed that I had to get every single thing redone by a different dentist. That redo cost me over $2,500 out of pocket. Not for new treatment, but to fix the mistakes made here. The final straw was a crown they placed that was so thin it was literally transparent at the top. You could see the tooth underneath through the crown. To force it to fit, they drilled down the healthy tooth above it, without numbing it. Afterwards they still told me everything was "fine." It absolutely was not fine, and my new dentist confirmed the work was unacceptable. After years of loyalty, I cannot in good conscience recommend this office. If you value your teeth, your comfort, and your wallet, go somewhere else. read more

What a great experience I had here, I am so thankful to Dr. Mark and Aubrey for their compassion, professionalism, and excellent care. Having not been to a dentist in a few years and having had painful cleanings in the past, I was pretty apprehensive. But Aubrey & Dr. Mark were so considerate and checked in with me. It really set my mind at ease, and honestly it was the most pain-free cleaning I've had in years! My 3years old son has seen doctor in the past. It's been great experiences with doctor and doctor's assistants. However, things got different this time with the receptionist Katrina. Requesting the form for my son's school (I sent it by email to her since it needed doctor's signature), I had to following up with her several times and felt like it was so hard to get it back. Rescheduling for an appointment over the phone, I was told that next availabilities they had were 6months away and she didn't want to tell us the exact dates. Came here twice in two weeks and both experiences were extremely pleasant. Katrina at the front desk is super sweet and professional. My first visit was to get my front tooth repaired due to a biking accident. I chipped my tooth and had to get it filled. Dr. G got me in right away and was able to fix it within 30-40 minutes. My second visit was today for a teeth cleaning, x-rays, and exam. KB cleaned my teeth and he was extremely gentle!! This had to have been the best cleaning I've ever had in years, if not ever. I usually avoid bad reviews but this one needs a special mention! Dr. G took care of my husband's filling, which she: 1. Did INCORRECTLY in the first place. 2. He got an INFECTION because of this loose filling. 3. Gave him a bunch load of antibiotics to fix it 4. Redid the filling but his infection is STILL THERE. The WORST is when he called this office to get his x-rays for second opinion, he was told very rudely that it will take a WEEK to get his x-rays! These are just x-rays and apparently legally they can take a month to give someone their x-rays!! How will he now get a second opinion? Is this the right way of supporting a patient that you screwed up so royally?? I am not doubting Dr's intention and believe she tried to do her best but her best might not be good enough for someone and on top of it the way we are now made to wait for x-ray and spoken to, just made me give up on them. read more

And most importantly the instruments where actually sterile and the packaging was not broken! Dr. Goraya was effective and communicative and I felt like the treatment was over in no time at all. I wanted to find a dentist who was personable and made me happier with my smile. I can't believe how lucky I am that this was the first dentist I visited. Beautiful facility with complimentary water bottles and very relaxing vibes for a dental office. Flexible scheduling and always have appointments when I am able to come in. Dr. Goyara is friendly, fast, thorough and really clearly lays out treatment plans. Her work has already given me a smile I feel proud of and it is only my second visit. Came here originally for my check up and cleaning and learned I have cavities so I came back today to get those filled. Even though it's in somewhat of a sketchy neighborhood the inside is very nicely remodeled and fancy. The lady at the front desk is super sweet and so are the women who walk you back to your chair and begin prepping. My dentist was alright, she was kind of short though and wasn't that friendly all the other staff were much kinder. She doesn't make a whole lot of sense when she talks she says "you know, and like" more than anything so it's hard to follow cause no I don't know what you're talking about. Overall good experience though. I like the place maybe I could be switched to a different dentist if they have another cause everything was great. read more

I've gone to a dentist because of good reviews on Yelp and been totally let down. I'm here to tell you, this dentist has a good rating, and is actually a good dentist. For real! The office is clean, new, and well appointed. I know that shouldn't matter, but when I go to a shabby dentist's office I tend to wonder about the age of the equipment in general, whether everything is clean, and if they're up to date. Fair or not, the way an office looks matters to me. The receptionist was very friendly. It's easy to get a convenient appointment, so they can meet pretty much any scheduling need you have. The office itself had a TV to watch if you wanted, and they gave me glasses to keep flying tooth debris out of my eyes, which I appreciated. The dentist and hygienist explained what they were doing and were careful to ensure that I understood what was going on. The cleaning was gentle and seemed to do a thorough job. I have some big dental procedures ahead, but the dentist walked me through what the process would be and talked to me about the cost. She also told me what she was comfortable doing and what was beyond her scope and when she would refer me to a specialist, which made me trust her. If she was willing to forgo my money to make sure I got better care, that says a lot about her priorities. I'd definitely recommend this dentist. After my four(!) fillings, I'll report back on how she handles them. I think it should be great. Well, as great as a dentist can be. read more

I came in and they were able to schedule me immediately right then and there when I needed a filling, when I thought I had previously scheduled it. They were very supportive when I was nervous during my fillings. Barely any pain. The place is beautiful and clean. The receptionist is very friendly and so are all the dental assistants and dentist. I love this dentist! All of the staff are friendly and make sure to answer any questions you may have. I came in after 5+ years of no cleanings and received 0 judgement. After a cleaning, the immediate treatment needs were explained to me with no pressure. They worked with my insurance to get preapproval so that there would be no surprises if I decided to get a higher level of care. My fillings were quick and my deep cleaning surprisingly trauma free! I've hated going to the dentist (see 5+ year gap in cleanings) but this was the best experience I have had. read more

Just had a second crown with Dr. Goraya and I couldn't be more pleased. I first went to her years ago when she was the only dentist to take Washington Apple Care (Medicaid). I was impressed with her work then. The first crown (paid out of pocket) had the best temporary of any I'd had done previously (and there were many). Fitting the permanent on was a breeze and the bite was correct at first try. I don't know how she manages to do it so well. I had another permanent crown fitted today and again the bite was correct right out of the gate. The temporary was great as well and I could have stayed with it for a much longer time. It felt stable and I was comfortable knowing that it wouldn't come out. I'm scheduling yet another one in a few weeks because her work is so good. I now have insurance and would not see anyone else. Her office is modern and clean and state of the art (and TV's at the chairs). The staff is lovely and on top of things. Katrina at the desk is a gem. I feel very grateful to have found Dr. Goraya, one of the best dentists I've ever been to. read more

First of all I don't understand the negative reviews. I am in the healthcare field (20 years) and have worked with all kinds of physicians and this doctor of dentistry knows what she's doing. I went in to visit Dr. Goraya for a full cleaning, X-Rays, and some help with some trouble teeth. The exterior of the building isn't much to look at however don't let looks fool you. Her practice on the inside is new and has state of the art equipment. The doctor is extremely thorough, gentle, and has spent more time than any other previous dentist cleaning my teeth and addressing my questions. I don't have the best dental insurance yet she was more than willing to work with me to get my oral health in optimal shape. She is a relatively young doctor and is building her practice and currently sees all kinds of patients. Her staff is professional and I would recommend her to any friends or family. She is going to become my permanent dentist for years to come. read more

I came in because it had been two years since my last checkup and I had recently seen this place going up on the corner of Northgate and Aurora. I thought I had a cavity so I figured I'd get it checked out. The office was clean (and new), the staff was courteous, and it was basically what I would expect from a dentist's office. Dr. Goraya was very friendly and took the time to thoroughly answer all my questions, which is something I don't get very often with dentists. Also they gave me some trendy sunglasses so the overhead light wouldn't get in my eyes...very cool idea. The cost was reasonable compared to other dentists I've been to. (Turns out it wasn't a cavity but a filling from many years ago that had fallen out.) If I could give them 10 stars I would! I know everybody has a fear of the dentist but I definitely think mine was severe and had stopped me from taking appropriate care of my oral health. I would make appointments just to cancel and it was weighing heavy on my every day stress. The receptionists were lovely. Dr. Ajwant was very gentle and gave me a clear layout on what is going on and what a good plan of action would be moving forward. I felt 0 judgement from her or her staff.
