Our stylist was Sophia and she was finishing up with a client. A few minutes later, we were greeted by the stylist and lead upstairs. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She made my daughter's first haircut memorable and she loves the finished product. The process was amazing but it was a bit pricey. Sophia worked really well with natural hair so I plan on going back soon for a trim.

I was told that the owner would call me back to discuss the issue, but she never called me back. Instead she chose to respond to my review, which did not address the issue of the unauthorized charges. This matter leads me to believe that Eden Salon cannot be trusted. If you choose to obtain Eden Salon's services request confirmation on the price. If they suggest additional services during your appointment get clarification on pricing beforehand. In my opinion, the lower price-point on their website is a tactic, used to bate customers. Such as the case with my daughter....she was told halfway through the appointment that she needed additional services for the coloring process; however, they did not mention additional costs. This is defined as a bait-and-switch tactic and is against the law in Washington DC. -Good luck out there, stay safe and aware!

This is a high heat process so please be warned, I have 4c natural hair and got it blown out straight. No heat damage thank god! this is not a style I will get regularly. I mainly did the blow out for the purpose of getting my ends clipped. I don't typical do heat on my natural hair one thing I was nervous about is that I didn't notice any heat protectant being used. Next time I will come with my own products to be on the safe side. ( I might be doing the most but so what)! She clipped my ends to my satisfaction ( they were clipped) not chopped. This is a real Dominican salon with majority Spanish speakers so there is somewhat of a language barrier, they have English speaking front desk staff but I'm not sure if they speak Spanish. The staff here was good overall I feel that they do good work and have good service. I think the shop is cute and I was quoted a price of $70 for the blow out, clip and flat iron. At the time of check out I paid $80. This was confusing but nothing to extreme for me. so come with additional funds or confirm the pricing up front.
