It's about a mile and a half walk away from our hotel. We decided to brave the heat and humidity. It's a small 3rd party mailing center located in a small strip mall and it has AC. Yes! Haha! The gal at the counter was very patient, helpful, and friendly. She patiently answered all our questions and provided us with what we needed to get our pieces of mail sent out.

There prices have gone way up since the last time I used them. They have a two hour minimum, $400 for two movers. Luckily, I scheduled right before they increased their rates for this time of year to $600 for two hours and two movers. They did end up sending three movers without any extra charge. They were are to schedule quick service on a weekday and were right on time.

I read the fine print and…read moreunderstood the drop off policies and the filling up of the gas, and the mileage because I asked questions to make it clear to me and I double confirm it with Uhaul Corporate as well as the the local businesses that works with Uhaul for the pick up and drop off of its trucks to make sure all parties are on the same page. When you rent a Uhaul make sure you read the fine print and ask questions if something is not clear. The attendants are not mind readers. You cannot expect them to know what your questions are if you don't ask or if you are not prepared. They will answer the questions to the best of their ability. If somebody at their office cannot answer your questions then find somebody who can. Instead of having to complain alot because you didn't know something and they failed to tell you because you never asked the "question" or made an inquiry about it. Don't just settle for I don't know, get your answer first before signing up for anything to avoid complaints. On the day of the move, they texted me with an ETA and were right on time as per the 1 hour window discussed. They were polite and professional and got right to work. My furniture packed, moved and unpacked was estimated at 2 hours and it came in just under since they worked so well as a team. They padded and wrapped my furniture to keep it safe and clean and everything arrived in good condition as they unpadded and unwrapped it as they placed it where I requested. I finally was able to confirm through the office that if I got them a CASHIERS check by Sat Morning , they would deliver that day. I paid extra and did that, only to be told I had to wait until MONDAY as the owner needed to verify a CASHIERS check! Really? It is a CASHIERS check! It's guaranteed funds. Called this morning to verify if the rest of my property would be delivered and was yelled at again and told me it was no big deal, no one was sick and if I make a big deal about it, they would just keep the property and delivery some other day.
