While I had a small job of just replacing two watch batteries. Sebou's also showed me his testing technique's for the waterproofing for one of the watches and replaced a gasket that was probably the original from the 90's. Absolutely top notch! I took a clock in to be repaired. It kept either losing 5 minutes or stopping all together. Sebou kept the clock for several weeks, but said it never stopped at all. I brought is home, and within 3 days it started losing time again. Took it back, said he would replace the mechanism. I went to pick it up, and he said he didn't replace it because there was nothing wrong with it. Took it home again, and of course it stopped the next day. It had already cost me $60 and a lot of wasted time, but I took it back AGAIN, and insisted he replace the mechanism. This time it took several weeks for it to start losing time again. Complete waste of money and effort for nothing. Clock still doesn't work! Obviously not reliable service even it he has been doing it for nearly 30 years. read more

We first encountered Sebou when my mother needed two mini-grandfather clocks repaired. They had both electric and kinetic components, as well as proper chimes. These two clocks are unique in that my own grandfather, a woodworker by trade, built these grandfather by hand many years ago for my sister and my birthdays. No one would even come near them... repair shops turned us away. But not Sebou, with an elven glee, he graciously accepted the challenge and within a few short days, both of our legacy time pieces were in perfect working condition! But then the real impresario moment came, and that was just a few weeks ago. My father-in-law has a Rolex submariner from the late 1970s that HAS NEVER BEEN SERVICED. My mother-in-law has a more dainty Rolex, ladies gold from 20ish years ago, that also had never seen an official service or cleaning. Sebou once again took the challenge and after using a hot-oil technique and applying massive pressure, was able to open both the watches and complete a full service and repair. Amazing! Needless to say, in these days and times it's not only hard to come by honest business people, but it's hard to find people who truly know their trade. Tick Tock Tick Tock. They still have places that repair watches and clocks. This is a quaint shop that offers watches, clocks, repairs, and anything else that has to do with clocks and watches. I came here because my dad needed a new battery and wanted a new band for his watch. We went to Sears in Pasadena but found out that the watch repair shop inside has relocated. This is the shop that was in Sears. It is in a small shopping center. This place has two entrances so you don't have to worry about where to park. You do have to wear a mask to come in and the shop has hand sanitizer for you to use. The owner is very knowledgeable about things that ticks. The price was reasonable because the owner did all the work. He put in a new battery and a new band. Plus, he told my dad how to keep his watch working longer. Overall, this is definitely a place to go to for all you clock and watch needs. read more

I am grateful to Sebou! He repaired and restored a Gucci watch with a cracked sapphire crystal face that had not been maintained. The Gucci watch came to me after its owner tried to get it repaired in San Diego and the Inland Empire. He was told by many shops that the cracked face was impossible to order. I initially took it to a highly reviewed repair shop in Montrose and was told the same thing: This watch is impossible to repair. The Montrose shop also adjusted the wrist band on another watch in a completely lopsided manner (only removing links from one side.) These problems, combined with my father's recommendation, brought me to Sebou. Sebou took an immediate interest in repairing the Gucci watch. About a year ago I wrote a review concerning an old clock surrounded by a saddle horse I had as a child. The clock sat on my dresser as I grew from a 6-year-old cowboy to an adulthood, college graduate, USAF veteran and so on.
