My husband, who grew up in Milan mentioned it, and I thought it would be worth checking out. The interior isn't much, just the meat counter and prep area in the back. But then, I'm not there to be sold anything other than meat, so I don't need anything fancy. The selection was good, they had pork, beef, chicken, and even some soy sausage. I loaded up on ground beef, huge chicken breasts, boneless pork chops and thick-cut bacon, all for $14. Much less expensive than the grocery store! Plus I'm supporting a local business. I didn't really ask where they source thier meat from, so I'm not sure if it's free-range chicken or anything. I'll look into that next time. The price will definitely keep me coming back. I've only cooked the chicken thus far, but the quality was good.

The veal loafs are tasty and great as cold cut or in bigger pieces to sautee. Real black forest or Westphalia ham among other typical german sausages are available. The ground meat is prepared fresh and looks and tastes so much better than the processed and chlorine treated ground meat in super markets. The ham shanks or ox tails are excellent as well. He gave this place a try and I was very doubtful. When he came home he was so excited to have a proper job done. Because of the clear vacuumed sealed packages of meat I could see the difference.
