Inside of fried dumpling - the outer part is too soggy and flavorless. Meat not much better

This is an okay place to get Chinese takeout from I guess. The food takes a little longer to prepare here compared to other Chinese restaurants; it's normally a 30 minute wait here. Food is a bit pricey considering the quality; it's not the best quality food but they price it up as if it is as good as food from a Chinese takeout place that actually deserves to charge that much, so you'll be paying around 18-20$ minimum if you get a meal with side and a drink. I got beef fried rice as well as fried dumplings which was maybe a mistake. The dumplings are soggy, too chewy, sticky and bear almost zero flavor on the outside. I had to keep spitting the outer part of the dumpling out because of what little flavor it had, and the flavor isn't good when you actually can taste it. The meat on the inside is only a little better. The rice on the other hand tasted pretty good; tastes like how beef fried rice from a Chinese restaurant should taste like, although the beef is a bit full of fat. Since they can make the rice alright, I'll assume that they possibly have some other options on the menu that may be good as well so I won't give them any less than 2 stars because my experience wasn't totally bad. I just like having good dumplings to accompany my rice, and I'm not a fan of the dumplings here. Plus the beef is a bit fatty in the rice, and I know better places that have zero fat in their beef. There's other places that make the dumplings better, and can make my overall meal better & faster for the same price so I'll probably stick to my normal takeout places. Honestly though, they shouldn't charge what they charge for their food because in my opinion it's not worth the price. Only a place like Han's Golden Dragon or House of Lee deserves to actually charge as much as Sechwan Sunrise does for their food because at least the food is worth the price at those other places.

I don't want to be dramatic, but after months of Facebook-stalking Han's like it was my part-time…read morehobby, I finally made the move--and wow, it lived up to every bit of the hype. I called in my order, and the staff was an absolute delight. Patient, helpful, and totally on top of it when I asked about spice levels (I live dangerously at level 7-8). I pulled up a little early for pickup (it's curbside/carryout only), and before I could even double-check my order, someone popped up at my window with a smile asking if they could grab me a cold Coke or Pepsi while I waited. Um... what?! This is the royal treatment. I went with a Diet Coke and sipped happily until the food came out shortly after. Once I got home, it was go time. Everything was still hot and smelled like a dream. We ordered: Crab Rangoon: light, crispy perfection. Wings: finger-licking good. Golden Fried Rice (7-8 heat): husband-approved with zero leftovers. Beef Bulgogi (same spice): tender, bold flavor, paired beautifully with sticky rice. And yes, I got hot & sour soup... despite it being 90 degrees. No regrets. It was spicy, tangy, and hit all the right notes. Bonus egg roll in the bag? You bet. In short: if you're hungry for Chinese, you're hungry for Han's. Go now. Order everything. The food is fantastic, and the people? Even better.

The only rough spot is that it's quite popular. One must arrive early or call to find out when the next wave of diners might be departing. The staff. From greeting to departure, we have felt welcome and appreciated. Not sucked-up-to. Appreciated. It's like they dig what they're doing. Feels great. This is doubly true for us when dining at the bar. We had a great conversation with the gent serving, and enjoyed him nearly as much as the meal. The fish. So fresh. So tasty. Soft. Perfectly cut. Mmm. Parking is pretty simple. Plenty of space behind the building. Chill neighborhood, too. Felt quite safe. At some point, I need to try some of the many other types of Japanese cuisine, Chinese cuisine, and Thai cuisine. This place makes me wish I lived in Bellevue.

They also have a pretty wide menu beyond sushi, including Thai and Chinese dishes, which is a nice if you're dining with people who want something different. The only downside for us is the location- it's a bit of a drive from where we are. Otherwise, we'd probably find ourselves going more often.
