Just an update: I just purchased a 2010 Nissan Versa earlier this month. I went back to the same car lot where I purchased my car in 2011. My credit score has improved DRAMATICALLY. I was even shocked! I don't know what the negative reviews are about. I have never, ever had a problem with billing. Mistakes can be made. That's called HUMAN ERROR. Keep track of your bills. I remember going through a job loss where I wasn't able to make a payment and they STILL worked on my file. Whenever I had a question, they had an answer. When I was trying to move into an apt and the rental company pulled my credit report and had questions, I called Yvette who provided me with documentation to send to the rental company explaining what was happening with my credit and how they were trying to help. I recently went to apply for a home loan and noticed a ton of unexplainable items on my credit report. Most of these most likely from a failed business I owned years back. Regardless, there was know way I was getting a loan. So I called SC Financial and spoke with Steve. Steve told me that there would be a $100 initial charge to run my reports and put an proposal together for me. They did just that. The proposal was great. It clearly delineated what they could guarantee would be removed, vs. what could probably be removed, vs. what might be tough. The price was completely fair (for me around $1500, but it really depends on how many negative items you have so don't quote me on this rate). Within a matter of 30 days, my credit score jumped from a miserable 520 to 560. Then another few weeks to 620, and up and up and up. Within a matter of 6 months, my score increased to a whopping 690, and it's still increasing weekly. These guys totally deliver on what they say they can do. I started Whig second chance about a year ago My credit score was 600 they have gotten a 2000 dollar Sprint bill totally removed along with 2 medical bills also removed also a lien from IRS remove I still owe it but because it's not on there my credit went all the way to 739 in under a year.
