In its place, a vintage shop, full of cut crystal, blown glass, small furnishings, Some costume jewelry pieces and an abundance of Crystal and China. The shop is run by a lady from Alabama, who, even after 43 years managed to keep her delightful accent. I want this place to work and thrive but I fear that the buying market won't support the mission. This is not a consignment shop but you will find pieces that you would expect to find in a consignment shop. Many of the items are priced fairly and they are in good condition. Some of the clothing in the back are not in keeping with the Quality of the collectibles, in my opinion. I definitely miss Simplicity and the ability to consign locally. I did see a few items in this shop that I may return for. I'd encourage you to look for yourself. Leave big, bulky coats, and bags at home because they do have items set closely together, and many are unbreakable. please use caution.
