They usually have a concert between 7-9pm, with the fireworks immediately after the concert. If you ever want to see fireworks up close, this is the place to see it!! But be warned:. I had some private lessons here with my friend/tennis coach. Everyone here is very friendly as they all seem to know each other. They also have a parking lot which is a huge plus in convenience. The courts are clay which is awesome. I'm used to playing outdoors so the clay was a pleasant surprise. The facility is very clean and the community is very encouraging. This is my go to location when the weather is sub par. Make sure you call in advance to reserve court time. There's only a few courts (maybe 5).

just a heads up this review is mostly about the dog park in the back of the park. since moving to…read morelong island a few years ago my partner and i were looking for a local spot to take our corgi puppy and this one was the closest. it ended up being a pretty solid choice. they've made some updates recently like expanding the synthetic turf in the big dog area which is great. the rest of the park still has a mix of sand and gravel on both the small and big dog sides which is fine but gets a little dusty sometimes. on hot summer days there is a little bit of shade which helps but not a whole lot so definitely bring your own water. the fountains are there but they're not super reliable. they've worked on and off over the past few years but lately they've been mostly off. outside of the dog park you can tell the community is really into the tennis and pickleball courts. the parking lot was also recently redone so no more giant dips or weird bumps which is super nice. overall it's a good dog park. not perfect but glad it's nearby.

In the main courts area, there is a lounge with glass walls with views to six tennis courts (with no obstruction). If games are played in additonal courts outside the main area, live monitor viewing are provided. Although the monitor resolutions aren't the greatest (likely due to poor lighting), these matches can still be watched. We're not members of this tennis center but my son participated in one of their tennis tournaments. In comparison with the other tennis centers, Robbie Wagner is among one of the better centers.
