I was referred to Secret Formula Fitness by my lovely, inspiring wife. She felt like her body was just off and was willing to invest in herself to make the changes she wanted to see. Seeing her come home week after week, sharing all her fitness success was impressive to see. She was losing weight and body fat like she was giving it away! She always came home motivated to improve even more. She couldn't talk enough about Jay. If I wasn't secure in our marriage I would have been concerned. Just kidding. Regardless she inspired me to sign up myself and invest in my health for the long run. I was eager and ready to sign up and see what all the "Jay Hype" was about. I sign up, I'm ready to get started, only to find out that I'm actually not signed up to work with Jay. Immediately I'm disappointed and let down. But I didn't let it deter me. When Jay told me I would be working out with Aja Mosley, I immediately Google searched her and came up with next to nothing. Made me even more worried. HOWEVER, Aja has been amazing and awesome since my first consultation with her. I told her off the jump, she had some BIG shoes to fill since I was not being trained be the all mighty, Jay and she did not back down at all but Rose to my challenge. SHE KICKED MY BUTT the first session. I struggled to make it to work lol. But once I recovered, I felt really good about my first step towards physical fitness. Aja scaled back the intensity just a bit so I could make it to work. We work out at 6am two days a week and she is energized and motivated to go every morning so far. What I enjoy most about the sessions with Aja so far is that they are never the same. She focuses on the whole body. And I have not repeated a circuit yet. Every day I look forward to what new challenging move she has in store for me. She incorporates barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, bands, TRX bands, half boso ball, yoga and pilates to name a few. When I follow the meal plan and workouts during the week, lbs have been following off me like melted butter. I have lost inches in my waist and my stamina has improved. I look forward to exercising more often now that I signed up with Secret Formula Fitness. Before this I took about a 3 year break from doing anything physically challenging. I am training with Jay now and we are going on our 3rd week and when I say I'm soooooo glad I chose to start my fitness journey with him I AM SO GLAD.I've reached out to a ton of personal trainers before I finally found Jay and no one was nearly as professional as he is . I've been training with Bernard for 3 weeks now and I can definitely say that he's amazing and effective. I was really out of shape when I started out and his guidance and determination to push you to your limit has helped make me stronger and has improved my cardio endurance. He also takes into account my knee issues when selecting exercises to ensure I don't aggravate my knee issues.
