After surfing we stopped at Secret Spot for an early lunch. We had the fish bowl and the g-unit wrap. Both tasted very flavorful and fresh. We also had the One Love smoothie and it was just the thing to cool the spiciness of the wrap. We will definitely be going back. read more

I like that they use fresh fruit and their service is super fast! i have had their burritos but i wish they didn't go so heavy on the rice and so light on the other fillings. Always fresh ingredients and everything tastes great! The acai bowls are really good on a hot day or a great way to start the day on a healthy foot. The Hawaiian wrap and the fish burritos are awesome. Ask them to add their house made "Baja" sauce on their burritos. Stuff is awesome! read more

If you are vegetarian you won't get a more tasteless meal than here. Seriously, any seasoning added to the mushy rice? Nope. How about the beans? Nope. The acai bowls could be so much better with fresh fruit rather than frozen. You are open in the summer. Use fresh not frozen berries. This place would benefit from some very simple changes. I can only speak for their wraps. They are lousy and overpriced. It's that same "chicken" you get with prepackaged salads at Logan terminals or 7 Eleven. Only here you are paying $9. Well I've tried to eat here numerous times but they never have fish for fish tacos. So today I said ok that's fine I'll have a burrito. They aren't serving those. So this has a 2 star review because they never have the advertised food and I hate waiting in line for 15 minutes to find out they don't have any off the food on the menu. I had recently had an acai bowl on vacation and really enjoyed it. I live down the street from the secrecy spot so I figured I would try it. I was very disappointed. The fruit was frozen and there was only one size available. At the time they were out of banana which is fine (although odd considering about 90% of their smoothies and bowls involve banana) but when I asked for a substitute of honey the girl with a long braid serving me was rude and didn't answer my question. Another girl said that's fine but tried to charge me for it. Which doesn't make sense because I wasn't getting bananas anyways. In the end she didn't even put honey on it. The business could be great but needs to improve on fresh ingredients and higher customer service. read more

I have been going to this shop for years. The food has always been great. Service is typically slow, but what are you going to do? I live very close in the area, I get the summer issues at the beach..... Today, the service was absolutely atrocious! (And there is no contact information on the shop's website to call or message the manager/ owner). Don't expect the workers to greet you, or even acknowledge you - they will be too busy chatting with each other. Make sure you get there well before 7pm, or you will get locked out (even after you order food and are waiting). Check your food before leaving! Otherwise you will get the wrong order. And they will not make it correctly the second time either. And definitely DO NOT ask for a refund - they will only give you the price listed, not the tax charged on the original order. (a refund on an item costing $8.50 is $9.27, but I had to argue with the workers just to get $9.00). In fact, don't use any money at all - they will not know how to give correct change (had to tell the worker my change was 50 cents for the $23.01 I paid on a $22.51 order). The food was great, this review is on how management handled a situation with a customer. There were 12 in our party and everyone had wraps overflowing with meat sans 1 mother whose chicken sandwich had so little meat in it, something had to be said to management. She went to the counter and said there is not enough meat in my sandwich and the manager said, "I'm sorry." The next question she asked was how they portion the meat for the sandwiches in which the manager replied, "we take a handful." The very young manager looked at her and said "I'm sorry, that's how we do it." So it could be that in this case a small handful was taken and a human error was made and the right thing to do would be to make another sandwich, refund the money or whatever the customer wanted. But, this is not what happened. The mother walked away only to return 5 minutes later to inquire if the chicken was grilled as it said on the menu because her chicken was all white, shredded and chopped into square bits. The manager said "that is how we do it." It was obvious this mother was not happy and was reaching out to the manager for a resolution. I know the manager was young and probably didn't have the slightest idea what to do, but his management needs to teach their employees "that is how we do it" is not the right answer to every question and additionally if a party of 12 spends over $125 with your establishment and one person has a problem with their sandwich, be nice and just fix it, help them out, take care of them, put your customer service skills to work. Be happy and your customers will be happy. read more
