We had a 10:30 appointment and walked in a little early. The location was easy to find and it was very clean. They had a room set up for us with both beds ready to go. And wow. I've had a lot of massages, all over the world....most masseuses know my traps are the problem but idk what the masseuse here felt that others didn't, but she really got in there without it being super painful and focused on the whole area. I was the most relaxed I think I've ever felt in my shoulders. I just wish I was local so I could go back again and again because for $100? It was more than worth it. The rest of the massage was great too, full body and didn't miss a detail. I really loved the scalp and facial massage. My husband recently tore his AC joint and his masseuse did an awesome job still getting in there without touching his injury. Overall, an amazing stat to our Christmas Eve and a top notch massage. Highly, highly recommend. It's no surprise they have so many 5 stars. OH and we ended the session with hot tea and chocolate!

Started on my front, then each side, then my back. Some pressure hurt, but only lasted a short time, then felt great. Aloe is ok, felt good. After your massage, fresh aloe is applied to your back, then banana leaves are applied on your body. 10 or so minutes of relaxation the banana leaves are removed along with the Aloe. Flip over and procedure is repeated on your front. The jungle spa is not luxurious. No music in hut, facilities are limited but so worth the experience. Worth a trip, leave hotel spa. Ps you can't be body shy, but private parts are covered.

After the clay dried you walk a short distance to a shower with a hose and some cold water and they rub/rinse off the clay. About 30 mins in total. After the rinse they have a nice warm tub ready for you with herbs and fragrances. Super enjoyable after the cold rinse. While in the tub they give you a neck and scalp massage. About 20-25 mins. Following the tub you move back to the bed and one of the ladies gives you a front massage while moving the towel around to cover you from the cool jungle breeze. The massage is done with oil and was so well done. You flip after an hour to your stomach and they work your feet to your head the same as the front massage. I would rated the quality of this massage among the best I've ever had. High quality. Well trained hands. And very respectful. 10/10 I'll be back here next time I visit!

Like other resorts yes they offer spa treatments such as massages, facials and some other interesting services such as herbal treatments however what I enjoy the most is the spa itself. Senses has an amazing pool, relaxation area with waterfall, top notch steam room, dry sauna, cold pool, and jacuzzi. I'm not sure why more guests don't use these facilities daily. On my trip I came here everyday. I'm not a loner but at a spa I love the feeling of being by myself. They also have a small gym which has everything you need and offer yoga and other float classes every morning. Giovanni the fitness trainer does a lot of the classes. He's super friendly and always ready to help if you need anything! He also offers personal training if you need it. Upon arrival they always greet you with a cold towel. You can put your stuff in a locker then they explain the process of how the spa works. Your free to do what you want however for your first time it's nice to follow their sequence which is steam room with sea salt scrub, then rinse, then dry heat, then jump in freezing cold pool (refreshing to say the least) then jacuzzi. I personally love going from steam to cold pool. I usually do that a few times. After your water therapy I usually rest and have a nice fresh juice. Everything is free. By the way if you don't have a spa treatment you can still access the spa for free which is amazing. Spa treatments can be expensive but they are great if you on holiday and want to treat yourself. Many people head straight to the beach when at this resort but for me my first stop is always the spa!
