Absolutely predatory business practices -- avoid at all costs…read more I've had nothing but problems with Tower Loan and will be reporting them to the BBB and credit bureaus for their unethical behavior. Last year, I submitted a direct deposit form in person. Not only did they fail to process it, but I was later aggressively contacted by a rude employee accusing me of non-payment. Only after presenting clear evidence of their negligence did they finally correct the error -- no apology, no accountability. This year, I scheduled a loan payoff with them -- again, they failed to process it. Over the last six months, I received multiple calls and letters, but not a single one about resolving the outstanding balance. Instead, they repeatedly tried to push new loans on me. Now, over $200 in interest has piled up, and they refuse to honor the original payoff amount, even though the error was entirely on their end. Tower Loan is disorganized, deceptive, and preys on vulnerable borrowers with shady practices. Stay far away.

But the fact that this manager (Coley) at the Killeen location is constantly calling, showing up at my house, and calling my wife's work and YELLING at her coworkers demanding to speak to her is completely out of line. When confronted he simply laughs as if it's some sort of joke. This man should be fired immediately. It's one thing to call and ask for payments on a loan that's behind it's another to harass people and their coworkers.

I mentioned that the Temple location was happy to cash my check. And she quickly replied that "I am going to call them and tell them not to cash it" ... This is a sad situation.
