I hardly ever do a review but I couldn't help but leave one for this company. Great customer service and got the job done. I called a few locksmiths in the area to help my daughter who had lost her keys to her 2020 toyota camery. No body seemed to be able to help due to the car being so new. Other than the dealership which wanted to charge me an arm and leg (lol) was my only option until I called this company. They immediately went out and not only had the newest technology but they got the key made and programmed in a reasonable time. My daughter was up and back on the road within a few hours. They guy took great care of her and they communicated with me through the whole process ( I was in south alabama she was in Florence 4 hrs away) I HIGHLY recommend this company. I locked myself out of my car, and only had my phone with me. As my phone was running out of battery, and I had to start work soon, I didn't have time to get quotes and compare prices. I randomly searched for locksmiths in the area, and this one was the first few that came up. I just picked this one, and a guy came after 45 minutes while I was waiting outside in the cold. He opened the door of my car within 5 to 7 minutes, which was great, but he charged me $204 for the service. It was a very expensive mistake, and I remember paying $60 when the same thing happened to me a few years ago. I also find something fishy as the receipt did not show the name of the company. There wasn't even an address or phone number I could call. I searched my call history on my phone, and I found the number I called. I searched on the internet, but I couldn't find that number anymore. I had to call again to ask for the name and the location of the company. Anyway, if you think $204 is not a reasonable price to open the door of a car, stay away from this company. I think this is a rip-off. read more

I called ABExpress Locksmith at 7am to have a new key made for my car. I was told it would cost about $200. They said a locksmith would call me back. The locksmith at Security Locksmith called and made an appointment with me for 11am. He showed up 2 hours late. He insisted that I had to make 2 keys and told me I had to get a special type of key that included a remote. He said it would cost $345 for everything and that there were no less expensive options. When he was done, he added a service fee and tax and charged me $428. I checked around and found out he totally lied to me and this was more than double what most other companies would charge. Do not do business with ABExpress or Security Locksmith. They are liars and will rip you off! read more

PLEASE BE WARNED!! DO NOT USE THIS LOCKSMITH COMPANY!!! THE "GENERAL MANAGER " TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME AND MY SITUATION. I was locked out of my shop about a month ago, and called the 800 number to have someone come as quickly as possible. They assured me they would be there right away, which they were. The "general manager" who said his name is "John" but did not provide a license number nor a business card when I asked, completely screwed me over. I was by myself when he came to fix the lock, he quoted me around $600 after everything was said and done. Which I thought was a lot, but I needed to get inside ASAP, and had never used a locksmith before, so I had nothing to compare it too. After he was done, he wrote me up an invoice for $1660!! I didn't have the money in the bank so I paid him cash.. stupidly.. but I was alone and unsure of what to do, completely crying my eyes out, and handed him over my money. When I was able to tell my husband about the situation, he looked at the invoice and saw that there was no license number or telephone number to call. After over a week we finally got a hold of the company and "John" ( they kept dropping our calls when we would tell them which address we were calling about). My husband said in the phone, and I quote; "This is an unfair price and you completely took advantage of my crying wife who was in need of help" So-called-John said " well.. she's over 18 isn't she? It's not my fault she paid it" (I am 23, so yes over 18.. but seriously.. that's how you answer?!) My husband couldn't handle it anymore and just hung up. We took it as a loss, but had to close our shop the following month. This company has a crook working for them, maybe they know, but my guess is that this "John" guy is pocketing peoples cash. I had been in distress over this situation for weeks, it hurt me financially, and completely broke my trust. I realize I should have looked more into him before paying, but I was extremely upset at the moment, I was locked out of my shop that had a broken lock, and needed the help of a locksmith. I did not expect to get screwed over. I hope "John" receives his karma in full, and I am definitely posting on all of social media and word of mouth to not use or trust this company. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM CALLING THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. Oh not to mention.. he didn't even fix the lock properly. He used too large of a bolt so now the door sticks and you have to use a lot of force to shut and close it, leaving a deep engraved spot where the bolt rubs up against the frame. I called their 800 # when I locked myself out of the house the other day. I stated that I had a 70 year old Schlage lock that I needed PICKED. The guy said, 'it shouldn't be a problem, but they "may have to replace the lock."' Then he gave me this really low ball figure. A few minutes later, a second guy called me to confirm my request and my address. 30 minutes later, a guy shows up. I asked, "Are you going to have any trouble PICKING this lock?" He replies, confidently, "There isn't a lock I can't open." Then, he walks to the door, looks at it and informs me: 1) This lock has a 13" tumbler and can't be picked. 2) The lock is rusty and has to be replace, anyway. 3) He's going to have to drill the lock. I'll need to replace the whole works. 4) I didn't have to worry because his shop was 10 minutes away and AFTER he drilled the lock, he'd come 'right back' with a new door knob. Facts: 1) There are no 13" anythings in this lock. 2) There are no tumblers in this lock. 3) There was no rust in the lock. 4) It's a brass lock. You make locks from brass because IT DOES NOT RUST. 5) If you know how to drill a lock, you only need to replace the lock cylinder. 6) If you can put a key in a lock, it's a pickable. Now, I don't want to judge him harshly on possible misinformation. So I called a client whose company probably made the drill bit "Nameless Locksmith" wants to use to destroy my door knob. Nameless and Client speak for almost about 10 seconds. Client tells me to call a locksmith. So I tell Nameless that I'm calling a locksmith. He tells me I have to pay him for driving all the way to lie to me. I tell him to sue me. He says, I'm not leaving until you pay me. I explained to him that I was very specific about what I wanted done so his company would not send out the wrong person for the job. If he was not qualified, he should not have been sent. I did not request that someone show up and lie to me. He said, the lock is rusty, you want me to show you? I said, "Absolutely." He said, "I'm not leaving until you pay me." I told him to get comfortable. I called another company , San Mateo Lock Works. And Nameless Locksmith left. San Mateo Lock Works sent a young guy, named Everett. Everett said hi, went up to the door, took out a pick and had my door open in under 20 seconds. He didn't even scratch the knob. Oh, and I was quoted an estimated price on the phone and charged $25.00 less than the estimate. read more
