Unfortunately, my most recent visit completely changed my opinion. I scheduled an online appointment for 7:15 AM to have a tire repaired. When I arrived, Assistant Manager Josh Taylor told me no one starts until 8:00 AM. He then looked at my tire and immediately said it could not be repaired and that I needed to purchase a brand new tire for over $300. He also said the tire would not arrive at the dealership until 4:00 PM, and since everyone leaves by 5:00 PM, I would need to come back the following day leaving me to commute on my spare tire. I was frustrated and upset, I decided to get a second opinion elsewhere. I went to Evans Tires, where they repaired the same tire for FREE in less than an hour. That experience at Toyota of Santee made me feel like I was being pushed into an unnecessary sale rather than being honestly helped. As a longtime loyal customer, that is incredibly disappointing. Trust is everything when it comes to vehicle service, and this visit completely damaged that trust. I sincerely hope Toyota of Santee addresses this situation and has a serious conversation with Josh Taylor regarding customer service, professionalism, and accurately advising customers. Experiences like this are exactly how loyal customers end up taking their business elsewhere.

Where to start…read more.. First and foremost my dealing with Tim was A++++, my family and I would highly recommend Autobahn West for any future purchases. My journey to finding the right 2011 BMW 335d started locally to me in Portland/Vancouver. Finding numerous examples and wasting my time to even go look at them. Talking to non-knowledgeable people and driving piles of crap really started to wear on me. So I decided to expand my search to the neighboring states and that is where I had found Autobahn West Enterprises "Tim Yost". Tim had the perfect example that we were looking for in the 335d with low miles and great history of previous ownership. Tim answered every question I had about the vehicle and exceeded my expectations. Tim's knowledge and customer service are top notch. Next was for me to complete the funding from my end which proved to be somewhat difficult as my bank would not approve and out of state deal. Feeling let down and surely thought the car was going to sell before I could secure funding, I called Tim and gave him the news, I surely thought Tim was going to tell me tough luck bud, but to my surprise Tim tried his best to help me with securing funding and also assured me he would not sell the car to anyone else until I gave him the for sure answer if I couldn't purchase the car. Depressed and beaten down I gave it one more go with another local credit union to me and sure as the sun shines they were able to approve the funding for the purchase. With excitement I called Tim and gave him the exciting news and was so happy with how patient he was with us through the whole ordeal with funding. Next we sourced the plane flights to San Diego, where Autobahn/Tim offered airport pickup shuttle. Tim picked my family and I from the airport and shuttled us all the way to Autobahn, where we got our first chance to see the car in person and we were in awe as it was exactly what we were looking for and so happy to have finally found it. Tim took extra time out of his day to even tell us about San Diego and places to see if we were staying for a few days. My family and I appreciate Tim and are very glad to have met Tim and his wife. We will surely continue to do business with Tim for every future car purchase whether it be a BMW or not.

We have tried contacting Ms. Harrison, the president/owner, and have had diminishing returns on our efforts. As of October 3rd, she has failed to return calls completely. I don't know whether or not this may impact your decision to do business with this company, but I hope this serves as a warning in case you are planning on doing business with this company.

Before I even got back to my car two male patrons walked up to the door and he unlocked the door and let them in immediately after her denied me entry. When I asked why they were let in and why I wasn't, the patron screamed back at me "we've already been here" even though I watched them pull into the parking lot and park, and get out of their car. A few minutes later another patron was exiting and two additional patrons were able to gain entry. Not sure what's going on at this store, but clearly they're lacking in communication and customer service. Highly recommend heading to O'Reilly a half mile down the road who will not only greet you with a smile, but actually assist you with your needs. They unfortunately did not stock the part I was looking for, hence how I ended up at AutoZone in the first place.
