Before even contacting the company, we took the time to try and move the ATV off of the trail so it wouldn't block other riders. Between waiting for assistance and getting back to the store, we lost roughly an hour of the rental we had paid for. When we returned, we were met by the manager, Ted, whose customer service was nothing short of appalling. Instead of addressing our concerns, he repeatedly dismissed me and directed his responses to my husband, even telling me I should "talk to him about it." It was incredibly disrespectful and came across as blatantly chauvinistic. Despite losing a full hour because of their equipment failure, Ted refused to offer any refund or credit. His only response was that we should have "read the contract." Apparently, a contract excuses renting out an ATV with a transmission that fails after an hour. After experiencing a mechanical failure serious enough to strand us on the trail, there was no way we were willing to put our children back on another ATV from this company. Rather than showing any concern for our safety or attempting to make things right, Ted argued with us and hid behind the rental agreement. This entire experience felt like a bait-and-switch: rent out poorly maintained machines, let them break down, refuse refunds, and point to the contract when customers complain. A reputable business would stand behind its equipment and value customer safety. This one did neither. If you're looking for an ATV rental company that maintains its equipment and treats customers with respect, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Between the poorly maintained ATV, the wasted hour of our paid rental, and Ted's dismissive, unprofessional attitude, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. If you are however, are looking for a horrible experience and a poor business model, look no further than right here.

It was fun, challenging, and absolutely a great time from start to finish. The two hour tour is amazing, but if you've got the time and the coin, rent it for the entire day and explore the whole areas trails. I'll certainly be doing it. The next time I come through Sedona. They do thorough checks of the vehicles after you rent them, so if you're gonna play around excessively, buy the insurance! All in all, it was a great time and we finished the day happy and very satisfied with the fees we paid.

This was not a casual or beginner-friendly ride by any reasonable standard. Had the terrain been described honestly, we would never have booked this excursion. I have pre-existing back issues, and the constant violent jolting over deeply rutted terrain made the ride physically painful and stressful instead of enjoyable. By the end, it felt less like sightseeing and more like being shaken inside a paint mixer full of red desert dust. Adventure is one thing. Accurate disclosure is another. Customers deserve a realistic explanation of trail conditions, difficulty level, and physical impact before spending money and putting themselves at risk.
