The two hour tour is amazing, but if you've got the time and the coin, rent it for the entire day and explore the whole areas trails. I'll certainly be doing it. The next time I come through Sedona. They do thorough checks of the vehicles after you rent them, so if you're gonna play around excessively, buy the insurance! What a horrible establishment. We rented an ATV in Sedona expecting a scenic, moderately adventurous trail experience based on how the route was described to us. What we actually encountered felt completely misrepresented. The trail was extremely rough, intensely dusty, steep in multiple sections, and far more treacherous than advertised. This was not a casual or beginner-friendly ride by any reasonable standard. Had the terrain been described honestly, we would never have booked this excursion. I have pre-existing back issues, and the constant violent jolting over deeply rutted terrain made the ride physically painful and stressful instead of enjoyable. By the end, it felt less like sightseeing and more like being shaken inside a paint mixer full of red desert dust. Adventure is one thing. Accurate disclosure is another. Customers deserve a realistic explanation of trail conditions, difficulty level, and physical impact before spending money and putting themselves at risk. I read lots of reviews prior to booking with Sedona ATV Rentals and I am glad I did. I'll admit after researching multiple companies and reading tons of reviews I was afraid. I kept thinking we'd be over time or perhaps get lost on our way to the trail. No idea why but my mind was thinking worst case scenarios. Once we arrived, the girl inside answered my concerns regarding the trail and made me feel more comfortable when she explained how easy it was to get to. I was happy that Sedona ATV was conveniently located quite close to where we needed to go for Devils Bridge. Once we were outside, the explanations were quick and assumptive. The guy finished and i asked my husband, do you know what you're doing? .....the answer was "Nope" He hadn't understood a word the guy said! LOL Fortunately, for a guy I'm assuming certain things come natural and obvious so he quickly figured it out himself even as a first timer. They also provide you with a trail map and directions, as well as recommendations on where to take your OHV. I was also pleasantly surprised to notice that our vehicle seemed newer and had an electronic touch screen display on which we could follow previous driver's routes (it helped us not to get lost!) We rented the 4 seat RZR 1000 since they were out of Turbo S. I have a Turbo S at home and love the ride control and power. After paying over $500.00 for a half day I wished I had brought mine. The best thing about renting from them is the very detailed maps that led us to some cliff dwellings and rocky Jeep trails. Great way to spend a 1/2 day. My rating is not related to the riding experience but rather the logistics of my trip! We had applied for a permit for soldiers pass and booked this company to rent from. The day we rented was the only day we had access for soldiers pass. Upon our arrival we went to check in and met with the mapping girl. She asked us where we wanted to go and we told her Soldiers Pass . She informed us it was closed due to weather and gave us other options. Bummed out we picked two other trails . Upon our return I asked the checkin lady if she knew how to possibly get a refund for our permit for the Soldier pass . She asked why and we were told it was closed , she than said it was not closed but it's a trail they don't promote and that why the girl said it was closed . FURIOUS FURIOUS FURIOUS! To try to make it right she said we still had 45 min left on our reservation so she said we can take the side by side back out if we wanted. So we took her offer and went . However on a 2nd return they tried to get us to pay a 68 $ late fee for returning it later than our original reservation. So I told them as nice as I could , I am not responsible nor was I ever going to pay them any more money for this day! I felt so disappointed in this company . Thank you for allowing me to go back out but please don't insult me by telling me the girl who told us the trail was closed was new and then tell me me it's something you don't promote. I had high hopes for a fun ATV adventure in Sedona, but my visit to Sedona ATV today turned into a major disappointment thanks to the staff. The two women at the front were completely unhelpful and rude--when I asked basic questions about the trails, they didn't know any details and just copped an attitude, snapping back like I was bothering them. It made the whole check-in process feel hostile and unwelcoming. The actual ATV ride was enjoyable--the terrain was thrilling and the vehicles handled well--but that was the only positive aside from the guys outside getting you loaded up into the Atv. The negative vibe from the staff inside overshadowed everything, turning what should have been an exciting outing into a frustrating one. I genuinely wouldn't recommend this company to anyone; the poor customer service alone is enough to steer clear. Save your money and time for a better operator in the area. Loop. If you want offroading - skip the guided tour and head to diamondback trail and spend your day! We were lucky to do that trail couple of times and its worth it. The Robbers point is also great, not many people make it up there so its fun. We rented the 900 - it was $660 including taxes and a $3000 deposit which goes off soon after return. They do have high end ATVs as well - worth it if you plan to ride them hard enough. read more

Easy Peasy!! Super simple process! We rented a Razor (4 seat) vehicle. The employees were all super friendly and helpful! The crew went over geography and maps of the area. They include a picture book as well for those of us that are map confused ( The ruins were cool to see!We had no idea they were even out there. Nice touch!!) They fitted us with helmets, goggles and GPS/mapping device that affixes to the off road vehicle. The crew member reviewed all the gadgets and safety precautions and loaded us up with an ice chest full of waters and sent us on our way. The whole process took maybe 15 minutes. When we returned, check out was even faster. We did make our reservations on-line. Once there, we opted for the extra insurance protection of $15 to replace tires. After being on those roads, felt it was money well spent. They do put a $3k hold on your credit card, in case of mishaps. Initially, we were a little concerned but after reading some reviews; totally understandable and smart on their part!!! No reason to even sweat it though, the hold was released upon our returning of the vehicle and took just a short time to go through! Great business, great employees and one terrific experience. This was our first time riding in one of these too. Thanks for breaking us in easy and not making us rough it; play on how comfortable the off road vehicles actually are (didn't expect that at all!!) We booked a 2 seat razor for 8 hrs. The GPS on the car made it easy to navigate the trails and find you way back to town. We had a blast!

We saw some people riding around off-road when we were hiking and asked them if them where they rented the ATV from. They said it was Sedona ATV & Buggy Rental. I looked them up online and saw the prices were reasonable and decided to give them a shot. They have many different ATVs available, but we went with two single rider option. It was a 2019 Polaris Ace 570cc ATV. They provide you with a helmet, goggles, a fool proof GPS with the trails labeled, a hard trail map, and a cooler of a few bottles of water. They give you a safety briefing and a quick rundown on how to operate the ATV and from there on you are on your own! No guide, just you, the trail, and a time to return the rental. This is super appealing to me because you can go at your own pace and explore the areas YOU want to! We put this thing through it's paces and it was some of the most fun I have ever had off-roading. They had rock crawling type trails, wet mudding type trails, and open areas where you could go a little faster. Even when on the road it is able to get up to speed. These ATVs are street legal, so you are able to use the normal roads to go from trail to trail. With all this being said, it is important to understand the dangers that come with operating an ATV. Always follow the safety precautions such as wearing a seatbelt, helmet, goggles, and do not get too daring. Be sensible. I would also advise to bring some sort of scarf to cover your mouth and nose to prevent from breathing in the dust. We rented the ATV for four hours and it was the perfect amount of time. It can take a beating on your body if you hit the trails pretty hard, so any more time could have been a little more sore than I would have liked. Lastly, know trail etiquette. Allow those who are moving faster than you to pass and safely pass those that are moving slower than you. Often times you will encounter large vehicles such as Jeeps. They will find a safe area to pull off and allow you to pass. Also, don't fly around blind corners and potentially crash into oncoming drivers. Stay safe and enjoy! read more

We weren't told they capped the speeds on the sXs's or given a choice for faster one's so they were slow. Also, the course they sent us on was very technical to the point where if you have any physical issues with your body, you will get pretty beat up.
