I highly recommend the all day 8-hr experience. A friend and I got to see views of Sedona you can't see any other way, caught almost every trail and had enough time to do the Devil's Bridge hike and Shaman's Cave. If we didn't detour to catch Sedona Mago Retreat and take a couple long meal breaks, we would've definitely seen a lot more. When we got to the place Trenton, John and Alex all helped us with routing our trips, hooked us up to the app which made it super easy to navigate as well as a paper map, showed us the cheapest package with the online discount, and even hooked up a cooler with ice for food along the journey. My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience renting our UTV from Sedona Off-road. The check in process was quick and easy, and the guide gave us great trail recommendations that could be completed during our two hours. We ended up deciding on Outlaw trail, which was apparently a fan favorite in the area. He gave us clear directions on a map of how to find it. The trails were fun, nicely labeled, and had AMAZING views. The trail led to the Honanki heritage site, and for $5 we were able to do the 0.5 mile walk to see the ruins and petroglyphs. The whole trip took a little less than two hours. Well worth it and will be returning! read more

We recently rented an ATV through this company and were appalled by how they handled a tire issue that occurred during normal off-road use (it was a trail they recommended we go on first to get used to the vehicle). While coming down from the the trail, we got a flat tire from a rock. We called them and they came to fix it. Then, when we returned it, we were hit with a $400 charge for both the tire and the rim. This wasn't due to reckless driving--just standard off-roading on terrain the vehicles are designed for. If a rental company can't factor tire maintenance into their business model, they have no business renting off-road vehicles in the first place. To add to our frustration, this rental was facilitated through the Hyatt Regency, and we will be contacting their management to express our dissatisfaction. A resort of that caliber should not be associated with businesses that push liability for worn-out equipment onto their guests. We will also be leaving this review on Google and TripAdvisor to warn others. Rent at your own risk--inspect everything, document the condition of the tires, and be prepared to be charged for wear and tear that should be the company's responsibility. read more

We decided to rent a 4 seater SXS for the day but it snowed the day before and a lot of trails were closed so we were worried we wouldn't be able to have any fun. My family struggled to find the location - it's in the gas station by the way. Once we found it, we were greeted and helped by a team of employees who were knowledgeable in the local trails, terrain, and vehicles they offered. As someone who is quite experienced in off road fun, I was very impressed by the teams knowledge and friendliness. They went above and beyond to find trails for us that were open. The trails were a blast! The vehicle was in top notch condition and operated as expected. The team even gave us extra time on the trails because of the weather conditions. He had great recommendations on where to go for a half day rental and assured us that we had the right vehicle to handle the recommended trails. The "extra" cleaning fee is for EXCESSIVE mud/dirt on the vehicle. The routes recommended to us required crossing water but we were cautious and not out to get extra muddy. We did a 4 hour rental through Sedona Off-Road Center and had an AMAZING experience. The staff was very friendly. If you're reading these very, very poor reviews. Don't listen to them. Just like a normal rental car experience, you walk around the vehicle and agree to any pre-existing damage. This place is not a scam. They were accommodating and helpful. Our razr drove and ran with no problem and they definitely keep them maintained well. They provided a very detailed map! I would also recommend downloading the app for your phone (so make sure your phone is charged or bring a battery charger) because it allows your phone GPS to track where we were. Which made finding the trails very simple. There is also parking around the back for your car if you cannot walk to pick up your rental. We were staying in town and would recommend walking if possible, but they do have parking if needed. I would definitely rent from them again! Don't let these bad reviews scare you! We had an awesome time on Monday! Rented the Can-Am Maverick and we're glad we did! Started off on Diamondback trail and it's was not for the faint of heart. Super rocky and definitely an advanced trail (some parts more like rock crawling), but we handled it with ease in the Can-Am. Afterwards we hit Schnebly trail and it was Beautiful!!! Do not give your credit card information, he charged for what is to be expected normal wear and tear when using off road vehicles. Great experience. From the moment we got there to the moment we dropped off the razors we were treated very well. We felt comfortable and their main concerns was us having fun, in which we did. They provided us a map for the trails which we were able to complete 3 of the 6 in our 4 hour tour. The razors we got worked as they should with no issues. We rented a "Tom Car" to try putting around on off-road trails. The vehicle was okay, though a lot more "gutless" than I expected - about 25 miles an hour uphill. A 2-hour rental was $150, which seemed pretty expensive. We were able to go on one short trail, and a longer dirt road. My wife enjoyed it. The guy that helped us wore a second amendment t-shirt, and had a pistol strapped to his belt. This seemed really strange for a tourist town, and frankly creeped several of us out.
