Had a 'effin awesome time with our Polaris! We ended up going for the premium edition and very happy we did. The suspension was great. The mapping was clearly laid out by Jenna (who was so fun to work with at the office!! Love!) So we didn't get lost. We were there in the afternoon and weren't able to see the monument way back in the very end of the trail. But we just had a great time zooming around. Highly recommend going for at least four hours! Red Rock is awesome the person checking you in she was so nice , then John who takes the time to explains everything on the ATV which if it's it's your first time LISTEN he explains it all perfect and the trials that you drive to on a regular road is worth. Self guided (with help of onboard gps) side-by-side tours and they have trails recommended for great views and off road adventures. We did some light rock crawling and saw some sights not seen without going off road. Great top notch equipment. Definitely worth doing. Don't be afraid to do the longer tour and make a day of it. DO NOT RECOMMEND. my family of 6. 2 adults and 4 teens specifically asked for a beginner trail and were placed in a ranger for our family size. It's basically a glorified golf cart. We were sent on trails that upon further research after our return are rated technical and extreme. Our families safety was truly at risk on these trails specifically the diamond back gulch trail. It is entirely possible that we would have died or been seriously injured. This trail is insane and steep and a ranger should absolutely not be on these. We were terrified and had no other option because of how desolate it was. The teens who greeted us on our arrival laughed when we told them how extreme and unsafe this was. Do not take these trails unless you are skilled and never trust the people directing you to trails at this business. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. We could have died today at their negligence. read more

This place rocks! It was the best customer experience from the start to the finish. They have a great process, starting with a wonderful, friendly person to check you in. They someone explaining your trip and the trails you should take complete with a detailed sheet for directions with a map to guide you through the desert on awesome trails. Our UTV rental experience was great! It was our first time attempting this type of adventure and the service they provided at check-in up until we drove out with the UTV was well organized. The staff were knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive to our questions. The cooler with ice-cold water was a night touch for customers as well. If there was one thing that would have made this a 5-star review was that they could have given us one of the newer vehicles. The one we drove worked fine but the check engine light did come on twice while we were out in the desert. We had to stop and call to make sure if it was ok to keep driving it, which they said was fine. In addition, the vehicle looked run down. Prior to leaving, the mechanic had to take the entire driver's seat off since we could not get it to adjust manually. read more

The UTV experience was awesome! Loved the idea to have the map, tablet that shows us live where we are and the photo. Directions were clear while some were uncertain coz pix was outdated with terrain. Loved going to the Diamond Gulch, it was technical and had good suggestion to go in low gear. The customer experience seemed rush and there was a couple before us and us. My husband asked the guy a question and he shared "As I said before it would take" and my husband had to tell him that he could not hear him clearly coz my husband wears a hearing aid, also that he couldn't read his lips with a mask on. I think he realized as he said "im so used too saying these things that I didn't take that into consideration..." something like that but he was empathetic and ten after had his mask down so he could sound clearer I assume. Logistics-The map was worn and difficult to see the numbers that align with the photo album. Suggest an update and potentially up to date call outs to the various sites. Overall...awesome and would recommend. read more

A group of us got a six seater to check out Sedona in. I was pretty much just along for the ride, but the experience was great! Super friendly staff explained all of the paper work and then gave us two different routes to check out. If you are over 18 you can chose whether you wear a helmet or not. We didn't but we did take the goggles which came in handy when it got super dusty. They also provide you a phone with GPS to call them directly if you get lost or have any issues. There is a bathroom inside which is a necessity for both before and after your journey. The actual ATV appeared to be in good condition. It was comfortable for the four hours we took it out. A little tight in the back if you are over 6ft y'all but still not terrible. The six seater sits three people in each row. They also gave us a cooler full of ice and water strapped down in the back which was great and allowed us to refill our water bottles. We went through a lot of water so I recommend coming prepared and taking advantage of what they provide! Our first trip/location was some old ruins that are basically built into the red rocks. It was cool but the drive was pretty easy and mostly smooth for the duration of our trip. If you are into that sort of history it's kind of cool to see, especially if you want an easy drive. Scenery is great of course. Our second location was schnebly hill, which was a fun but bumpy ride! Lots of rocks and elevation. A little nerve-racking if you are afraid of heights ;) but ultimately really cool. I'd recommend this trip for sure over the other if you want true off-roading. Overall a great experience and definitely worth it! read more

Had a great experience again, this is the 2nd time we booked with Red Rock. We alerted the staff that we wanted to explore Schnebly Hill and they advised us that it was closed due to a vehicle having to be towed off the hill, we were obviously disappointed by this but the staff was more than accommodating by advising us that we could reschedule for another day. Furthermore they actually contacted us to let that the road had been opened and we were good to come back and begin our ride if we'd like. The atv we rented was top notch, easily conquering anything that stood in our path. There are quite a bit of atv rental places in Sedona but we will continue to use Red Rocks as they're customer service and products have always been too notch! read more

After going on a UTV tour in Moab last summer, I was hoping for a similar experience in Sedona. In Moab, we were up on fins and going up and down very steep sections of rock to the point where I thought our UTV would tip! It was one of the most thrilling experiences of my life. (It was a tour but we drove our own UTV.) So with that said, I was definitely hoping for a similar experience in Sedona. That was not the case at all. The employees at Red Rock ATV suggested we do the Outlaw Trail followed by Diamondback Gulch. I asked if it was technical at all and they said there was some technical parts especially with Diamondback Gulch. I personally would NOT recommend the Diamondback Gulch. It was just full of rocks (but not very steep). So we had to go slow. There's a "10 story staircase" you have to go up, but it was more of an incline with a few rocks. Not thrilling or scary in the slightest. I also wish the employees would have asked us more questions. They may have looked at us being two females and decided these easier routes were what we should take. Maybe there were other options out there - but they were not suggested to us. We more so enjoyed driving on the smooth straightaways at high speeds rather than the rocky gulch - but maybe others would disagree with this. Maybe I should have done more research ahead of time so I knew what we were getting into. The scenery on the Outlaw Trail was beautiful and our ATV worked well, but if you're looking for more of a thrill, save it for Moab. If you're planning on going to Moab, please save your ATV/UTV experience for the Moab Tour Company and do the Hells Revenge/Fins & Things UTV Tour. It was honestly one of the coolest experiences! read more
