In January 2021 after a long difficult year I decided to do a retreat with Sedona Soul Adventures. To be fair, I did not really have a spiritual bone in my body, but it had been highly recommended to me, so I decided to give it a shot. After 4 days I found out more about myself than I had done in 10 year of talking to a therapist. The practitioners I visited with were beyond outstanding, the care an empathy they all shared with me was astonishing and they know exactly what buttons to push to get you to open up and spill the proverbial beans ... Since this retreat I have felt more in touch with myself and more capable of understanding how I feel. Importantly I have made sense of past events and been able to really heal some of the wounds I have dragged around with me my entire adult life. I am sure if I was a bit more spiritual to begin with it would have been even better, however given the outcome I can't imagine how much better it could have been. You only get one life (well if you believe in reincarnation perhaps you get a dozen or so) but in this body just the one. I wish I had done this sooner.If you are thinking of doing it, stop thinking and start doing. It will change the way you view and live your life. read more

Sadly, my engagement with SSA was one of the most negative experiences of my life. I am writing this review so that other others do not waste their precious money or time in Sedona chasing this. It honestly makes me sad to write a poor review, but I realize it is the responsible thing to do so that folks who are looking for something special are not preyed upon. I'll start by saying that I had solid hopes for SSA's objectives, having participated in similar undertakings through books and workshops -- and went in with an open mind and heart. I wasn't skeptical. I wanted to give every reason for pause the benefit of the doubt. However, I wish I had listened to my gut and declined participating. The pieces seem there and the individuals we met were good and well-intended people, but as a professional business it was a charade. Off the bat, the interactions were stilted, as if SSA was keen to keep control of everyone's name and money in the process (I initially chalked this to the entrepreneurial hustle). Our "angel" couldn't answer basic questions about our guide or the modalities/ approach she would use -- we were just told she was wonderful (which she might have been, but for the $, eventually not what we wanted or needed - and we might have known that if we could be more specific upfront). Our "angel" was a warm and kind person, but from the moment we met in person, the SSA stunt felt like a timeshare sales show. Everything from the travel-agent folder full of free material from tourists bureau to the formal session was canned and unpersonalized. Importantly, it was obvious that our information wasn't conveyed effectively to the individual who led our work -- so most of our time in-session felt like a waste (and she didn't have the presence in the moment to sense our irritation). The woman kept reading worksheets aloud to us -- even though we asked multiple times if we could use our time more experientially, and read the worksheets later. Given how much money we were being charged by SSA (and the lovely day in Sedona we were missing), the mismatch was deeply frustrating. The woman was lovely, though, and I am sure we had a lot to learn from her -- if we could have set up the sessions with directly (and at her rate, not SSA's). I am still unsure of why SSA takes such a big cut - but as an intermediary they made the experience worse, not better. The reason this is not a 1-star is because: a) I understand our arrangement with SSA was not standard and the traditional journeys may be better formatted b) Perhaps they're targeting less experienced clientele without exposure to this work c) the parties called to try to rectify the situation -- although, doing so with only one of us and likely making the situation worse d) I'd feel bad giving a 1-star. Still, I sadly/ firmly would not recommend to any of my friends. read more

My husband did his Sedona Soul Adventure retreat after ending a 30 year marriage. He says it was the most important thing he could have done, and helped him instantly start making the changes in himself that were needed to regain his personal equilibrium and learn so much about his personal strength. When we decided to marry, he gave me the gift of my own retreat to empower me with the same ability to always be my best, most powerful self, and therefore partner. This is a joke. 2 weeks to get a phone call or email back. Finally got an interview. Then they never followed up with me. I had to call and write 6 times. No response. I could not even learn what this was about. If their customer service is that poor I can't imagine what happens once you are there. Once they did they got my name wrong. Oh my goodness! This place should be a place that Every single Human should come too, I know that is an extremely BOLD statement for me to make but if every human being could treat people the way that the ones who are apart of "Sedona Soul Adventure" could, the world would be a MUCH,MUCH,BETTER PLACE. With that said....Myself and my Father both had a huge falling out, to the point that I said some pretty horrible things and he said some pretty horrible things, our relationship was down right DONE! I found this blessing of a place online thru google when I told my dad "You and me have Togo to this place, or else we won't ever talk again" that was reason enough for us both to say "Let's do this" Well this whole journey in Sedona has been a truly "life changing experience" I can not put even into words how amazing everyone is who works for this company. My advise is...if you're having problems,stressed out all the time, hating life,lost in life, or just down right need to reconnect with your self and have some truly amazing & therapeutic alone time, Check out this place...I'm sure it will change your life! Thrilled with the talent of the people I was so lucky to work with! Each session left me with insight and understanding. As days went on things became even more clear. I'm more relaxed and at ease now that I am home. To put this in perspective I spent months in marriage therapy sessions. It was a waste huge of time! My marriage was getting worse and my husband and I were drifting farther apart. After one session in Sedona something magical happened. I release suppressed feelings and emotions I didn't even know I had. I enjoyed Christine my angel guide who helped interview me to figure out my schedule and who would be a good fit for my personal needs. I even called her halfway through the week because I was processing so much and she was very kind and did not act like I was bothering her. My Sedona Soul Adventure was extraordinary and transformative in every way. My Angel Guide (Rick) listened carefully to me, and using his knowledge of the practitioners and his own intuition, set up the perfect schedule for me -- he even helped me find housing. Every practitioner I met was incredible; every experience I had with them was life changing. They were all so good, in fact, that I was grateful for a "free day" in the middle to go hiking and process it all. I left with a greater sense of peace, ease, and understanding. On my own, I never would have been able to sift through the many talented Sedona practitioners and figure out exactly what I needed at this point in my life -- that's the true gift of Sedona Soul Adventures. I've returned home a more connected person, completely satisfied with the experience and grateful to SSA for doing the legwork for me. I really wanted a retreat that provided me with customized options. I had various areas in my life that I wanted to be nurtured spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally. Sedona Soul Adventures understandingly held my hand from beginning to end. From the very first phone call, I felt comfortable speaking my needs to their experienced guide. By the day I arrived I was set up with my itinerary, knew exactly where to go on each day so that all I needed to do was just show up and let the healing take care of the rest as I relaxed for 4 days. By my final day, I had let go of my personal life's built up energy that needed releasing. It was amazing because it happened without me even realizing it. Since the day I left, that energy that I had built up inside, has yet to return. The coaches here are experienced and compassionate human beings. It's so hard to explain what a "soul adventure" is to someone who has not gone through it. A few months ago, after almost a year of marriage, my wife and I decided to invest into ourselves and our relationship by doing a couple's retreat. I stumbled across Sedona Soul Adventures and I am so glad that I did. We worked with Cara, our angel guide, to put together a unique package that would work best for our situation; this was after she interviewed us separately, and then we agreed on a program/retreat that was best for us. What I loved most was that Cara provided options for us (if money was no problem, getting the most out of your soul adventure, bare minimum recommended) so that we could take a look at what each program was about and decide which route we'd like to take. We ended up doing everything she recommended (the "if money was no problem" package and even added an extra couple's massage session) and I'm so glad that we did. Though my wife and I were unsure what to expect, since we've never done anything like this before, we trusted that they knew what they were doing. We figured, at a minimum, we'd get a good 1 year anniversary/honeymoon celebration out of it. When we met with Cara on day 1, she was so gentle and helpful as she guided us through what we'd be doing. They provided all sorts of information from directions, things to do, places to visit, and even where to eat. The entire office staff was so kind to us and they had a certain air about them...very calm, peaceful, happy...even Debra the owner had a certain sense about her. My wife was more skeptical than I was (we can both talk our way around therapists) but that was quickly squashed at our first session. Every one of the practitioners that we worked with seemed to know exactly what we needed most, how to handle us (both together and separate), and we left Sedona changed. Before the retreat even ended, probably after our first session, my wife and I already started making a mental list of people that we knew could benefit from a soul adventure...but we promised ourselves that during our adventure, we'd focus on us and no one else. We were able to see life in so many different perspectives, catch ourselves when we went down rabbit holes, and learned to enter our heart space...which was the greatest gift they could've ever given us. Because each retreat is catered to the individual/couple, it's so hard to tell someone what it is or what they should/can expect. The only thing I can say is...you just have to trust it and just do it. Go in with an open heart and and open mind. This will change your life. I am confident that a year from now, a few years from now, or even a decade from now, I am going to be so grateful that we decided to invest the money in ourselves and our marriage. We had a healthy relationship going in...and we came out even stronger. Cara, Debra, Ranjita, Denny, Marianna, Gwen, Miguel, Robin, Kate, Rhonda, Mona, and Komala - you guys have changed our lives in ways that you won't even know. It's been 3 weeks since I've returned from my soul adventure. The variety of skills I learned to cope with past trauma and current stresses have allowed me to move through life in a new way. Reacting harmfully to hurt feelings has been a pattern of mine. I now have better coping skills to deal with these feelings when they begin to overwhelm me.
