My mom and I had a wonderful lunch at Sedona Taphouse in Lexington. She had been before and already knew what she liked, and I can see why! We started with a delicious dip and warm pita bread -- super flavorful and a great shareable starter. I ordered the sliders with roasted corn, which were really tasty, and my mom got the shrimp and grits. Normally that dish is only on the dinner menu, but they were so accommodating and actually made it for her at lunch. That kind of thoughtfulness really stood out and made the experience even better. Our server was amazing -- attentive, kind, and made us feel taken care of the whole time. The ambiance was beautiful too, very rustic and cozy. We were seated at the front of the restaurant, so I can't speak for the whole space, but where we sat was warm and inviting. Overall, it was an excellent experience. Great food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. I'd definitely go back!

5/18/25 My husband and I ordered Sedona Taphouse for the first time. I've been here a few times before and loved my past experiences. Today, we ordered the Canyon Nachos with pork, honestly, they were a little soggy probably from the ride home, but still flavorful and good enough that we finished every bite. Most likely best enjoyed fresh in the restaurant. The Crab Cake Sliders with truffle fries were delicious, there is an $4.50 up charge for them but they're worth it. The real standout was the Beet and Goat Cheese Salad--absolutely amazing! The dressing was so good I wish I had extra to bottle up and take home. The food was ready to go when I arrived, and the ambiance was just as I remembered it, nice and clean. Overall, I was really impressed. The food was great, even as takeout, so we're definitely planning to go back and dine in next time!

We really enjoyed our first visit to Sedona Taphouse. It's an upbeat,Pleasant atmosphere and has a huge beer selection! Excellent gf selection and marked clearly on the menu. They even make a gf flatbread which was our favorite thing we ordered. Also the gf truffle fries (cooked in separate fryer and celiac safe). Excellent service and we will be back!

Sea bass with stuffed shrimp.

The food at Sedona is consistently good. We started with the Thai spicy shrimp appetizer, nachos and flatbread. The shrimp and flatbread were outstanding. And the nachos were tasty, nachos are enough for 4 people. The entrees were good, everyone liked what they ordered. I had the sea bass and it was just okay, it was cut thick and therefore was kinda dense. The server brought a lemon butter sauce which elevated it. The service was good. The only thing that I didn't like is that the kitchen staff didn't know which meal was ordered by each of us, so they kinda "auctioned" off the plates by saying " who ordered the...." pet peeve of mineAnyway otherwise all was well. The carrot cake is yummy and the cheesecakes. We sat on the indoor patio which was very nice. The noise level is kinda high and the restaurant music is upbeat and somewhat loud. But it was a nice playlist. Nice place for fun outing but not recommended for business meal, unless you reserve the small room near the front entrance which is very nice and quiet.

This was my first time here and I loved it. We were visiting friends who live in the area and frequent it regularly. We hit their happy hour and had 4$ house wine and two apps. They apps I forgot to take pictures of, stuffed peppers and truffle fries, both so good. We all loved our entrees! Salad was amazing. Our waitress Christy was fabulous, so sweet and above and beyond w service.

Floors are slippery. Two people fell when I was there. Food took 1.5 hours to come. Horrible customer service.

I've never had a bad meal there! It's my new favorite restaurant in Lexington. Highly recommend the gorgonzola chopped salad!

My only complaint is the noise level can get high, as it seems to draw larger crowds (baby shower at table next to me at brunch.) I think some acoustic tiles or other noise blocking mechanisms would be great. But don't let that stop you from trying this gem! 1/26

It's enormous (easily shareable between 6+ people) and absolutely delicious. The Sourdough Breakfast Sandwich was a close second at 9/10, a great classic executed really well. The Banana Bread Latte was an 8/10 -- very good but ask for it less sweet. The Iced Cinnamon Bun Latte and Eggs in Heaven both landed at 6/10. The latte sounds incredible on paper but the cinnamon bun flavor didn't quite come through, and while the Eggs in Heaven dish itself is a good concept, my eggs were unfortunately not cooked to my liking. We really enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying our breakfast! Service was good, a little slow but they were very friendly! Overall a great spot with a lot of potential -- the pastry alone is worth the trip. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

After my previous bad experience at Thirsty Fox (reviewed separately), I was looking for a vibe…read moreshift. Ona provided it! A foosball table, a backgammon set, deep wood colors and an art deco vibe. This dark, moody little bar had a friendly bartender and unusual drinks. I had the "I Go Where I'm Led," made with kimchi infused vodka, gin, dolin dry, and celery salt. It did indeed taste like kimchi and was certainly weird. I also had the "Need 3," made with prosciutto basil infused gin sotol, amaro obscuro, bitters, and soda. Also a savory, bizarre drink that I'm glad I tried, but wouldn't get again. They have more conventional cocktails as well, like the Paper Plane, Naked and Famous, Corpse Reviver #2. They have IPAs and plain Miller Lites. They have basic red, white, and sparkling wine. Prices range from 8-13 dollars.

They served others who entered the bar after us, doing shots with them. The bartenders were very rude, online it says they close at 2, one of the bartenders yelled, "It's time to get the fuck out" at 1:10, right after they had finally served us. All the workers were clearly intoxicated/on drugs, and were dancing to static playing on the speakers. I was hoping for a better experience, instead I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome.

But the food was so good! I had been there once before, shortly after opening, and thought it was so-so. But the 2nd visit was a much better experience. Since we had a large group, we sampled each other's dishes and everything was delicious. The burrata appetizer was really good. I had the "make me something sweet" mocktail and it was pretty and tasted refreshing. Our server was top notch and explained every dish on the menu, and gave us recommendations. He really took his time with us, and you could tell he was a pro. More excited to return after this second visit than after the first! 11/26

For our appetizer, we had the beef tartare, it was also just okay. We didn't even finish half of it. The star of the dish was the rye crisp, unfortunately. For our entree we had the baked rigatoni and the pork tenderloin. The pork tenderloin dish was delicious and so was the rigatoni. That was a plus. It was extremely loud in the restaurant. Be prepared to yell at your table partner. Between the amount of people talking loudly (I assume to attempt to talk over the loud music) and the music, and being seated really near other people, having a conversation was difficult. So don't go with anyone who is hard of hearing with background noise (my husband lol). Food took a little longer than what I'd prefer to come out. The restaurant itself had a great vibe and decorations were cute.
