When a manager decides to walk past the table twice commenting on how cute my baby is and then they see us leaving decide that they can help, I don't ever have to eat here again. I've got to say we were so excited to see the menu here and the catering, a dietary restrictions, especially for the many that our family has. Our waitress and Manager were fantastic and we were very excited. However, the food was average at best. The brussels sprouts we had were very mushy. I think they were sitting under a big tinfoil pan and hot light for a while. The salmon I had was fine but nothing special. I would recommend it over some of the other chain restaurants but if there's something local near where you're at, I would definitely skip it. read more

My mom and I had a wonderful lunch at Sedona Taphouse in Lexington. She had been before and already knew what she liked, and I can see why! We started with a delicious dip and warm pita bread -- super flavorful and a great shareable starter. I ordered the sliders with roasted corn, which were really tasty, and my mom got the shrimp and grits. Normally that dish is only on the dinner menu, but they were so accommodating and actually made it for her at lunch. That kind of thoughtfulness really stood out and made the experience even better. Our server was amazing -- attentive, kind, and made us feel taken care of the whole time. The ambiance was beautiful too, very rustic and cozy. We were seated at the front of the restaurant, so I can't speak for the whole space, but where we sat was warm and inviting. Overall, it was an excellent experience. Passing through Lexington and had to stop in for a late dinner. Hummus appetizer was great. My daughter enjoyed the Mahi mahi, garlic mashed potatoes and corn. I chose the fresh catch flounder with cold slaw and fries. The place was packed at nine PM and energy was good. Moscow mule and sangria for our cocktails. Both were nice with the mule being the best. Not far from the interstate so quick in and quick out if you're in a hurry. read more

My wife & I went to this restaurant last evening with friends for the very first time. They are not lying about the amount of beer and Bourbon they have. Everyone in our crowd was pleased with the drink selection. We skipped on the appetizers and ordered our main entrees. I ordered the French Quarter Pasta and it was delicious. The andouille sausage was so good and it had a little spice kick to it. My wife ordered the shrimp & grits and she said it was amazing!! Everyone in our crowd said their meals were very good. 5/18/25 My husband and I ordered Sedona Taphouse for the first time. I've been here a few times before and loved my past experiences. Today, we ordered the Canyon Nachos with pork, honestly, they were a little soggy probably from the ride home, but still flavorful and good enough that we finished every bite. Most likely best enjoyed fresh in the restaurant. The Crab Cake Sliders with truffle fries were delicious, there is an $4.50 up charge for them but they're worth it. The real standout was the Beet and Goat Cheese Salad--absolutely amazing! The dressing was so good I wish I had extra to bottle up and take home. The food was ready to go when I arrived, and the ambiance was just as I remembered it, nice and clean. Overall, I was really impressed. The food was great, even as takeout, so we're definitely planning to go back and dine in next time! read more

We really enjoyed our first visit to Sedona Taphouse. It's an upbeat,Pleasant atmosphere and has a huge beer selection! Excellent gf selection and marked clearly on the menu. I've literally never had a bad experience at Sedonas. We've ordered from there quite a few times and then on top of that today had a large party experience with almost 25 people. Our server was incredible, food was delicious from the goat cheese tomato bruschetta and devils pass appetizers to my French quarter pasta and beet and goat cheese salad. The absolute best part was my delicious prickly pear margarita. I got 2! Huge shoutout to Brandon who took absolute phenomenal care of our extremely large party and didn't miss a beat! I was able to give Sedona a try a couple weekends ago and I am glad I did. My bonus daughter raved about the stuffed mushrooms and she was on point! We enjoyed apps, wine, dinner and everything was great. Our party included teens to lite eaters and everyone found something they loved on the menu. I decided to take my mom to Sedona Taphouse for a nice lunch. The restaurant is beautiful. Our server was very sweet. We ordered some starters and I ordered French onion soup. The soup arrived first. It didn't quite look like a traditional French onion. It was a thickened soup. It was a bit salty, and the texture was a bit off putting. The stuffed mushrooms were good as well as the crab flatbread. I also enjoyed the truffle fries. Mom enjoyed everything we shared. We will definitely give this place another try. read more

The food at Sedona is consistently good. We started with the Thai spicy shrimp appetizer, nachos and flatbread. The shrimp and flatbread were outstanding. And the nachos were tasty, nachos are enough for 4 people. The entrees were good, everyone liked what they ordered. I had the sea bass and it was just okay, it was cut thick and therefore was kinda dense. The server brought a lemon butter sauce which elevated it. The service was good. The only thing that I didn't like is that the kitchen staff didn't know which meal was ordered by each of us, so they kinda "auctioned" off the plates by saying " who ordered the...." pet peeve of mineAnyway otherwise all was well. The carrot cake is yummy and the cheesecakes. We sat on the indoor patio which was very nice. The noise level is kinda high and the restaurant music is upbeat and somewhat loud. But it was a nice playlist. Nice place for fun outing but not recommended for business meal, unless you reserve the small room near the front entrance which is very nice and quiet. read more

This is such a great spot in the middle of the one of the busiest areas of Lexington. The outdoor seating is so relaxing, an out door bar, lots of fire-pit seating, live music, umbrellas and great service! The interior does not interest me at all. Feels like a large, dark warehouse. The food is good but the appetizers are next level. We typically go with several of those rather than the expensive entrees. The beer & wine lists are wonderful. My husband is a huge import fan and knows beer. Unfortunately, we have run into items that are on the list but not in-house. Kind of frustrating. The live music is ok, nothing outstanding so far. I think the music needs to be upscaled to Jazz, acoustic...anything would be better than some of the honkey tonk, inappropriately dressed performers. Atmosphere was very cool. Beyond that I would say absolutely choose different. Menu is way over priced. $11 for a flat bread pizza /pizzette that's the size of a taco shell. Food is like a glorified diner. The sides on the main courses could fit into a baby dish. Literally 3 spears of asparagus. Service is beyond sub par as well. Ordered a can of beer with a glass, waitress handed me a glass with about an inch of water in it. Showed it to her and she shrugged her shoulders. I literally poured it on the floor in front of her and drank from the can. She smiled and walked away. When we went to pay we had to go find our server.... We could've walked out but we're honest. I've been to the location in Troy MI and it's fantastic with delicious food and great service. This place is kind of a hot mess. Bartenders did not get anything right that I ordered and the food particularly the New York strip was tough grizzly and unflavored. I was overcharged for the side salad that I was getting, but it wasn't a side salad. It was a Caesar salad, which I didn't order, but I still ate it anyway way too much money for this average low average food. read more

We like Sedona, but prepare to come early! The parking lot is pretty small, so it gets busy fast. There is also limited outdoor seating, along with an outdoor bar, so the best spots in the restaurant tend to go quickly. There is a good variety of options for both food and drinks. I usually like to get the shrimp and grits, but my husband usually mixes it up and tries new things. The sides are pretty typical (fries, mashed potatoes, broccoli, etc) and it would be nice to have a few more options there, but the truffle fries are really good and help make up for the lack of choices for sides. read more

I have really wanted to love this place...not sure what's changed. The first couple of times our family has dined at Sedona ..the atmosphere,service&food was really wonderful..but the last two times the food has not been as good. The positive is the servers have always been terrific! We tried once more tonight...to start there was a dirty dish on the table & our server took it away..not a big deal but my pricey sea bass came out on a white plate..big chips on all the sides of the plate and black staining on the edges?! very visible ..why would a cook keep this plate ? throw it out! And once again the creamed potatoes were heavily seasoned with black pepper..you can't taste butter.cream..only lots and lots of black pepper. Additionally the cocktails are nothing to remember. Exceptional food, and service. A nice balance in the menu of salads, entrées, appetizers, and nice toppings for your main course like there outstanding crabcakes and marsala sauce. Desserts are always perfect in size and choice. Best happy hour. Regulars there say the same thing: the staff makes you feel at home yet very well cared for. The managers are able to maintain the same staff overtime which speaks volumes for for their management and the staff they hire. Comfortable and classy, but not overdone and uppity. They're dine in for charity is a win-win for everybody. Even on the Monday of this first big snow in Lexington, they held their doors open for dine in for charity, which we enjoyed immensely. So pre-pandemic, I loved Sedona. Great food, fast service, lots of drink options. You could easily spend a few hours drinking and talking and eating. I loved deciding on a dessert at the end. The patio was nice and relaxing, plus there was a little room that could be a private space if you wanted to book it. Then came the pandemic and a pivot to their online option. Car service was a little harder to manage, but they still did ok, and it was great to be able to get some wine or beer to go with dinner. We usually got what we ordered, unless they were somehow out of it. Now they've completely reopened the inside and man oh man.... they still have their online ordering, which has menu items that are incorrectly listed or unavailable and you won't know until you go there. You can't call anyone on the phone, because it usually rolls into an automated answering machine. I get that places are super swamped with a lack of staff and supply issues are pretty constant, but when I compare the food from the start of the pandemic last year to now... The food has had a major dip in quality. Have you ever had a hollandaise sauce that tasted like straight vinegar? Neither did I, until today. I'll give it a bit before I try again, because I really do love the concept, but execution has been struggling a bit. read more

Been here a few times, this was my first time here for lunch. The stuffed jalapeño appetizer was good. We both got the southwest chicken wrap.. it was basically full of lettuce and had very few pieces of chicken. Not only that but some of the lettuce seemed to be going bad. For $15, I just wasn't impressed. Overall we might be back for appetizers and drinks but I think I'll skip their main food next time. read more
