LOCAL FARM CHICKEN - All natural, hormone free chicken breast served w/ seasonal veggies, herb garlic, & Yukon gold mashed potatoes
    Brenda K.

Newly opened (3/21/2025) restaurant, by the owner of Bistro 804 and located in the same shopping center area. Former location of Kuba Kuba Dos. Open less than a week (opened 3/21/2025), the restaurant was very busy at 7:00. Besides the individual tables, there was one long communal table. It seems popular with friend groups and families. The ambiance is casual but nicely put together, and there is a covered outdoor patio as well. Even though the restaurant is new and it was very busy, the service was good. There is TV in the corner, which was TV tuned to sports, but the sound was turned off (thankfully). Even though it was loud from all the voices, it seems that this will be a local neighborhood restaurant for those who live in the Tuckahoe and Westham areas. We chose the "Local Farm Chicken - All natural, hormone free chicken breast served with seasonal veggies, herb garlic, and Yukon gold mashed potatoes". The chicken was seasoned well, and was flavorful. It was served atop Yukon gold mashed potatoes and vegetables (sautéed red and yellow bell peppers and green beans). There were four soups available, served by the cup or bowl. We chose the Black Bean Chorizo, which was topped with a cilantro lime crema. The beverages we had were the spirit-free "Pineapple Ginger Mule - Pineapple, Ginger, Passionfruit, Lime", and a glass of red wine - the Badia Alle Corti Montepulciano. We will return again, and try more of the items on the menu.

"You want to go where everybody knows your name". I felt like I was in a larger version of Cheers. Food was really good. I also enjoyed watching the waiters bring everyone their meals. Can't wait to come back and try some of the dishes I watched go by.

However, we ordered the steak sliders which were great. The fettuccine Alfredo was okay but could use more sauce. The chicken tenders wasn't anything exciting about those. The crab dip was not good... it tasted like cream cheese with no crab or ole bay as well as the bread. I was a bit taken back when we saw that there sides are à la carte. For this type of vibe, I would've never thought that. The feel and the vibe is not worth their menu to be à la carte especially if the vibe is a bar feel with no tv or rooftop view... but if u want to grab a sandwich and beer it's perfect.

For some reason the hostess thought "close to the door" was the same thing so, not only were we not outside, we delt with people coming in and out past us. Our server was friendly and helpful I thought it a little ridiculous that the menu tells you to look on the chalkboard for the daily pasta yet this location doesn't have one. They apparently use the same menu as another location that has a chalkboard but this one does not. So after searching for a chalkboard and unable to find one, our server told us when she came to take the order. The food was good but not great. My drink said it had basil in it but there was no even the taste of basil. The chicken in the pasta was full of grizzle and loaded with pepper. Not sure we will be back.

Nonetheless I ordered some boneless sweet chili wings with blue cheese ( which were good) and tried a zero proof cocktail, berry mule. 1/10 for the drink. It resembled the taste of cough syrup. During our meal, the manager was kind enough to give free tix to puttery (nothing was mentioned about the food or drink). Afterwards we headed down to the first floor to play. The games were really fun and the artistry was magnificent! Definitely a fun time for adults or children!

The first course is indoors and offers a variety of easier holes and some with more difficulty. The second course is outdoors and has tons of topiarys around that make for a great photo backdrop. There doesn't appear to be any real concrete theme which makes going to each hole exciting as you don't know what to expect. Everyone I interacted with was really nice and walked my friend and I through how to play. We ended up also eating upstairs and the food offerings were really yummy. We shared the soft pretzels as a starter which came with a delicious mustard sauce. I ended up getting their chicken sandwich as my main, I found the sandwich itself to be fried a bit too hard so I can't reccomend that but their fries appeared to be hand cut and those were absolutely delicious. Overall this place is a great spot for families, friends or I could even see this being a fun date spot. Its really a one stop shop with their restaurant and activities being in the same place. Highly recommend!

They have a very limited menu at lunch so you have a few appetizers to choose from, a few salads and sandwiches and burgers, so straight up American food. It does skew southern with crab cake sandwich, pimento cheese and fried chicken. For an appetizer we decided to try the wings. They were good and came with ranch drizzled over the wings. For entrees my husband got their farm & oak burger with Cole slaw and I got their wedge salad with fried chicken. Both were good. The salad was nice and cold and crisp, which was appreciated on such a hot day. It did have too much dressing so next time I might ask for less dressing or have it on the side. I enjoyed the food, service was good and it is a pretty restaurant. I'll probably come back for supper some time to try some of their more in-depth meals.

What a great decision! When you walk in, you immediately notice that all of the wines are beautifully displayed -- it doubles as a wine shop, which gives it such a warm and welcoming vibe. It feels cozy but elevated at the same time. They don't offer flights for groups larger than five, but we were able to order one dealer's choice flight based on our preferred flavor profiles. From there, we could select a bottle inspired by the flight. A few of us gravitated toward reds. Our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable -- we told her the flavor profiles we liked, and she brought out three reds to try. The Wade & Wayfarer Pinot Noir was our favorite (so good!), though a bit pricier. We also tried the Alkoorai Cab/Merlot blend, which ended up being our least favorite. Ultimately, we chose the Denner Nightshade GSM -- excellent pick. Bonus tip: if you purchase a bottle $50 or more, there's no corkage fee; under $50, there is. Our waitress also mentioned that South American Merlots are the best Merlots as we all mentioned Merlot tends to be more dry. A few in our group ordered the Masterpiece Theatre cocktail on our waitress's recommendation -- she did not steer us wrong! Food-wise, everything was a hit. Our friends ordered the Cacio e Pepe burrata, pickled shrimp, Caesar salad, mushroom and leek flatbread, and the Brie and pear flatbread (both flatbreads were huge!). They loved every dish. My husband and I shared the bread with olive oil (simple and delicious), the charred octopus (tender with amazing flavor), gnocchi Bolognese, and lamb chops. Everything was fantastic -- the only small note was that the lamb could've been a bit more rare -- but still very flavorful. By the end of the night, all six of us agreed we'd absolutely be back. We're even looking into their wine club -- $60/month for two bottles (pickup required at the shop), which honestly sounds like a great deal. Apparently, they change up their wine flights weekly, which makes it even more fun and gives us a reason to return. Such a great experience all around -- can't wait to go back and try more wines!

We stayed for two drinks and the first bartender was pleasant and gave us recommendations and chatted with us. My second old fashioned was a bit overly sweet which I wasn't expecting after the first one being quite good but I didn't ask for it to be fixed so that's on me. The problem is that one of the other bartender/server came up to the bar and CLIPPED HIS NAILS while we were sitting there. I initially questioned what I was hearing as surely, no one in the food industry thinks this is okay?! Unfortunately....someone does. Due to the set up of the bar I have to assume it was being done into a sink? Trashcan? It didn't seem low enough while he was chatting with us to be a trashcan.
