The flowers were beautiful, costs were just a fraction of what it would cost to have a florist procure them and put them together. We had no idea, as to "our" budget, except it was given to us our wedding gift. My paternal aunt purchased, all of our wedding flowers here and placed together by family, with love. We were there, bright and early and got best quality flowers. It was day or two, before they would be used. They must be preserved, freshly and kept them inside my bathroom, in dark, cold room & cranked up AC. All of it was placed in bathtub for hydration.

First the website mentions parking on the roof and we could not find this parking. There was an area blocked off, but it didn't say full. It was just blocked off and the only reason I suspect that was their parking lot is because the exit was still open. So I had to pay for $10 across the street. Yes we could have found street parking further away, but I was already frustrated not having found their lot and my partner was just like I'll just pay. Let's just go across the street. Next even though it is mentioned on the website (I don't remember seeing it despite looking at the website multiple times) and there was a $2 entrance fee. what am I paying $2 for? Why am I paying $2 to shop and spend more money? I'm sorry just on the way there as we got closer, there are so many flower shops around the mart so I don't see why you wouldn't just go to one of those and get your flowers without having to pay an additional fee. So now, we are already $14 out-of-pocket and we havent done anything but try to park and step inside. We get inside we look around and I honestly did not find the prices to be that different from a farmers market perhaps a slightly bigger bouquet, or a couple of dollars cheaper, but there was nothing that was like ooh, this is a great deal. We ended up buying a large bouquet of lilies for $25. There is a stall in the back that had what I would consider actually good price prices. Five stems for $10 and a big bushel of another kind of flower for $6. We got those as well. My partner also really liked the plant guy and bought a plant from him from $20. Now here is where I really will not be back. I stopped at a stall called Choice America. I saw a really pretty set of mum's and asked how much they were & was told $10. The guy helping me then confirmed that they were $10 with somebody else. He then went on to say that one with eight stems was a higher price that I don't remember because I knew I wasn't getting that.When I got to the counter to actually pay, the woman was going back-and-forth with another customer about some order. They both seemed equally frustrated. Why is this important?.. because when it was my time to pay she said $10. I handed her a $20 bill. She opens the register and pulls out a five and some ones throws up her hands. I deduced that already being frustrated this is just one more thing on top as she doesnt have enough change to give me and instead turns to me and says $12.50. I kind of stumble and I say for what... tax or something? and she goes yeah tax clearly lying! Even if they did charge tax, which no other stall did, sales tax in Los Angeles on $10 it's not $12.50. The unfortunate problem is that I am black and I am not afforded the luxury to say something back because then I'm seeing as an angry black woman, have the police called on me not being believed etc. etc. so I just have to bite the bullet and get scammed and ripped off of my money. My partner and I both agree that it was not worth the hassle to go, but he really wants to take me to the restaurant across the street so we would go back to the plant guy and we would go back to the stall in the back but even those are BIG IFS as neither of us has any desire to ever go back to the Flower Mart. I feel like overall. The whole place is a money grab, you should save your money and go to your local farmers market or visit one of the many other vendors that were around the area without having to pay an admission fee to even buy flowers. Or better yet be bold like the elderly lady who accosted us as we were leaving and asked "are you all done in there can I have your sticker?" I was already too flustered to even recognize what she was asking till after my partner happily handed his over.

On the day of the service, we went to the cemetery and when we arrived, we noticed our specific arrangements ordered from this place were thrown on the ground and broken, with roses out of place and in the ground, while the other arrangements from other shops were nicely placed and displayed. as a grieving family, you would want everything to go as plan, smooth and beautiful, as appreciation for your loved one. My husband called Gladys, and spoke to him and said that the arrangements were placed at the gravesite, but yet when she sent the pictures, it was no where near our grandbaby's site. Very disappointed that after talking with her, she was adiment that it was not her delivery workers but instead blamed it on Rose Hills. My husband all he wanted from Gladys and the flower shop to take responsibility for the misdelivered of the flowers arrangements and destruction. Please do not place your orders with this shop, unless you want these arrangements destroyed.

Most recently, Little Tokyo Florist made 2 beautiful custom bouquets and understood exactly what I was going for. It looked unique and not generic and had the more wild aesthetic I was going for. They have a good selection and the quality of the flowers for the last order was great. Photos of them don't do them justice! Only feedback is their delivery prices are a bit high and it can be tough to get the desired delivery time but that may be due to it being a small run business so it's the actual owner I believe who hand delivers some of the orders which is rare and cool. I ordered 2, one delivered to Monterey park which was $30 for delivery and the other was originally supposed to be delivered to the apartment building literally across the street (Tokyo Villa) and they were going to charge me $20 so I opted to pick it up after work and deliver them myself.

He responded quickly, and we discussed what we were looking for in re-purposing the rear 1/3 of our property. He described his vision and methods, and provided a very reasonable quote. We decided to move forward, and we left it up to him to provide and plant what was needed to create a perfect space that was both functional for entertainment and really pleasant to just relax and enjoy. Gio and his team did not disappoint. He met (and exceeded) our expectations, and stuck to the schedule and budget. And he didn't just create planter areas and new lawn, he also installed a paver walkway to match our existing patio stones. When he was finished with the original scope, he offered to maintain the rear yard to make sure our investment (and his hard work) would continue to look as good as the day he finished. He is not a typical "mow-blow-& go" gardening service. When he and his team arrive, they look around, see whatever needs care and attention, make everything right, and leave every inch of the yard neatly trimmed and clean. They have everything from volcanic rocks to ones that look like they belong in Red Rock. They also have huge piles where you can haul rocks away in a truck for larger projects. I could not believe that they even sell giant boulders there. This is definitely my new favorite place for any rock or gardening projects. Seed Floral was absolutely incredible! Stephanie went above and beyond our expectations. She is incredibly creative, thoughtful, helpful, professional and clearly sees her clients vision. We had a very specific and unique color combination that we were working with, as well as an elaborate and eclectic centerpiece design we were hoping for, and her excitement to deliver something wonderful and unique was inspirational and comforting. They also make beautiful, elegant, vibrant, colorful arrangements from baskets, fruit baskets, to small bouquets. Earlier this morning my son had surprised me with 2 nice arrangements from this shop. He knows what kind of flowers that I like and that's exactly what he got. 12 beautiful red roses, 2 small balloons, 6 chocolate covered strawberries and last but not least 5 pink/white Stargazers. I was so surprised and he made my Mother's Day feel very nice and special. This is NOT the first time that he has done this. First time from this La Fleurel flower shop. They have street parking and the value of each flower/arrangement is different. Prices vary. They always have gorgeous arrangements! We ordered a $300 flower arrangement to be delivered by noon on the Friday before Mother's Day. The flowers were delivered by 12:30, and delivery called me to inform me no one was answering the door. I explained that they were supposed to be delivered before 12:00pm, and I wasn't sure if the recipient was home, and they started yelling at me almost immediately, saying they don't guarantee delivery times on Mother's Day weekend. This makes sense-- I understand that they're very busy and told them as much-- but the fact remains that I'd been told they could be delivered before noon. I asked where they were going to put the flowers, they hung up on me. My coworkers and I conferred, and agreed we needed to know where the flowers were, since they cost so much. We called back and asked why they'd hung up, why they wouldn't tell me where they'd put the flowers, and they started laughing at me! They told me I should have used 1-800-Flowers and put me on speaker so I could hear their coworkers laughing at me. Straight up said "is she still talking?" before they hung up again. Humiliating and awful. For $300 dollars, I literally just needed to know where they were going to put the flowers. We were repeat customers for years but I simply cannot abide by supporting a company that was so, so mean to me and my coworkers when we were just trying to do my job.

Their main representative, Vinnie, spoke to me in such a derogatory manner than I was left absolutely shaken to my core after the interaction. It was a $350 purchase and I was told I couldn't receive a photo as an example. They didn't accept the standard flower selection I requested, and it never arrived on time (despite providing a generous 6 hour window which they agreed to). When the delivery finally arrived way past the delivery window, they called me in a fuss complaining that nobody was home to accept the delivery and that I was wasting their time. I reminded them that's why I requested delivery before 4pm, and that they agreed to it when I submitted payment. The expensive arrangement went to complete and utter waste. When I asked where the flowers would be left so I could direct the recipient to the location when they eventually did arrive back home, I was laughed at, mocked, and hung up on. I was nothing but polite the entire time, but they proceeded to put me on speaker phone so I could hear their whole team laughing at me. I honestly have no idea why they would do such a thing - the man started shouting at me telling me to never order from them again. He yelled that they do not accept flower requests nor do they follow delivery windows - I find this ABSURD for a luxury flower service that charges $350 for just a standard arrangement. He scoffed saying that if I wanted to see photos of arrangement examples and have them delivered at a specific time, to should just use 1-800-FLOWERS next time (while hysterically laughing). Well, at least 1-800-Flowers is reliable and doesn't bully their customers. I see from a few more reviews below that this is not the first time they've used that same line, and he treated another woman similarly. Unsurprisingly, he proceeded to take my $350, even though the flowers ended up fully damaged from sitting on the pavement for a day unattended in the hot sun. Never responded to my request for a refund. I will NEVER be spending my money here ever again, and I highly urge you not to as well. Odds are you will have a satisfactory delivery, and that this guy was having a bad day, but I'm writing this because there's chance that you will be left the same shocked and distressed position as I was left in. It's the principle of it. Avoid at all costs, not just because of their bad service but also because of the way they've treated people.
