Finally, finally made it to Seed + Stone Cidery on a First Friday at the Hungerford. GREAT service and a charming atmosphere! Tried a flight of tasty ciders, and had a lot of fun talking to one of the owners! We'll be back!

Stopped at the Hungerford for their second Saturday market (which, btw GO, it was amazing) and discovered this "hidden to us" little gem of a cidery! We were browsing local artists shops outside and noticed people sitting outside with flights of some sort of delicious looking beverages so we popped in to check it out! The atmosphere inside is so COOL and industrial, with high topped long tables and stools to sit on and enjoy some crisp cider drinks! We (husband and I) each did a flight of ciders, and to my delight the whole menu of options are more on the dry side. Bonus for me as I'm not into sweet ciders or wines. They also had a few beer options as well, if cider is not your thing! All in all, such a great experience, supporting local and enjoying tasty ciders! We will be back and hopefully can snag an outdoor table during the summer!

If you're into ciders, especially on the drier side, then should definitely give this cool spot (at The Hungerford Building) a shot!! Very welcoming and friendly staff. Been offered a delicious free samples! Thank you!

Seed and Stone Cheery has been open for over a year in production, selling through Black Button Distilling, Swift Water Brewing, and other outlets. This is their brand new tasting room. Their ciders are a delectably fresh, often leaning towards dry, hard cider. They also have other offerings to round out their selections. The tasting room is open Thursday through Sunday. See hours listed. Give them a try. Fresh, Crisp, Clean flavors you'll want to come back for again & again.

My husband and I dropped in for one drink on a whim and I was thoroughly impressed!! I'm not a huge cider person but the one I got was a step above. I got "This Shit is Bananas" and it was SO good - just the right level of sweetness, perfect amount of banana flavor and a delicious mix of autumnal spices. I am looking forward to coming again and trying more ciders. Also, the environment was great. A couple lowkey games to play, relaxed environment, friendly staff.

The people were very friendly and helpful! Did the fight of 12. A whole lot of ciders. It was okay. They have a lot of different ciders on tap. The place is adorable! Very cozy.

Stopped in last night to check it out. The space is small with limited seating but has a great vibe. They have a wide variety of ciders on tap ranging from their own to guest taps. I ordered a flight and wasn't disappointed. They all had such a unique flavor to them, some oaked, one with mezcal. It's definitely a place to check out.

Alright here we go, I thought we were tripping but just saw a couple of other reviews and I see…read morethis is a problem. The bartender/waitress customer service is unacceptable; okay so when my gf walked into the bar she walked up and sat in the middle waiting to order flight of ciders. The bartender ignored her. There was a couple that was there before my gf so she took care of them (understandable). There were two other couples that walked in after my gf, they then sat at each end of the bar to order (there's 3 orders to be taken atp and my gf should be next). The bartender skipped my gf even tho she was there first, waiting right in the middle area of the bar to order (bartender walked each end of the bar and ignore the person in the middle? ) After she took care of the couples, another couple walked in and she immediately took care of them again "u closing ur tap? Let me help u" (while my gf still waits). After everyone got their drinks and walked outside, my gf was able to order the drinks. Idk what was the issue, my gf and I were the only POC there (there is a racist reputation online for the town of Penfield. Look it up) I hate to say that was the reason but idk. The view there was very beautiful but sad we had unfortunate experience. #ZeroTipExperience

I've been there a few times, but it's been a few years. My wife had never gone there, so I thought it'd be nice to introduce her to the place. It was a nice warm night so they had the doors open and everybody pretty much was sitting outside. They have a lot of tables outside - some on the patio and a whole bunch out on the lawn. It's a very family friendly place, with games to play out on the lawn for the kids and adults. They have a decent menu of sandwiches burgers and the usual appetizers/starters. I wasn't that hungry so believe it or not. I ordered off of the kids menu! The burgers were huge. They were double patties and I didn't think I needed that. So I ordered the chicken strips/chicken fingers which came with their potato differs, which are like thin potato wedges. You had your choice of sauces so I got barbecue and lime Crema. Both were really good. My wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich and could only eat part of it because it was huge too. It also came with the potato dippers. She liked what she had of it! So there is a farm that is part of Blue Barn Cidery and they just harvest it a whole bunch of blueberries so they are selling blueberry confections in their gift shop. When you first walk in you walk right through the gift shop which sells honey and candles and T-shirts, etc. They have a whole bunch of choices of cider, but I'm more of a beer guy so I got my favorite, which is Other Half Green City IPA. My wife hasn't been drinking, but she absolutely loves root beer and they have Saranac root beer there so she was happy. It was a very relaxing place to have some dinner and a drink and listen to some music outside. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be coming back.
