Long time favorite candy store. Wonderful selection of delectable treats. My personal favorites include the Nuts and Chews Assorted Box, Almond Royal, and love those Lollipops. They still let you have a sample of candy when you visit.

Growing up I used to hear "Nothing in life is free." Maybe true elsewhere but not at See's. Doc had included a variety of sweets from here in our Easter goody parcel. SO yummy. Okay I need a little Look See for an event. The Pearl ridge shop on the lower level, Macy's side but by the escalators and elevators. I saw one worker dressed like they did probably half a century ago: white uniform reminded me of the box or package that had an elderly lady on their packaging. I asked do you sell lollipops in bulk? She showed me where the 12 pack and 30 count box was a few feet away. Ooh, assortment is good( my favorite is the chocolate one.) She offered me a FREE piece of candy asking milk or dark? Trying to be healthy( not cuz I adore milk chocolate) but I said dark. She offered a buttercream piece. If I return I need to think fast and ask may I have a sugar free one? Just then a woman dressed with a baboushka head wear entered with 3 children and each got a FREE piece then walked out the door without purchasing anything. Hmmm I decided to ask may I have one for my husband? My purchase was over $30 so I asked. She replied must be present to get a candy. I told her, aww he's waiting in the car(I wasn't kidding.) Well next time he needs to come into the store she said kinda grudgingly giving me one for him too. Yikes. I chewed off the outer covering of dark chocolate like a little ferret then opala(trash) the buttercream since I WAS trying to watch the sugar intake.

The store experience was great; well-stocked, clean and great customer service. The missing stars is due to a disappointing product. I picked up 3 different boxes of chocolates for a visit with family on Big island, and got a small box of "Assorted little Pops" for myself ($80+ total). Haven't had a See's lollipop in decades and looked forward to revisiting the flavors. Photo is of the Little Pops contents. Only 3 pieces of Butterscotch, one odd x-small chocolate, and wrapper at the bottom is filled only with air - no candy in it!

Love See's candies! One of my favorite chocolates!! Must haves: milk chocolate coconut, almond milk bars, rocky road (reminds me of my mom- this was her favorite and the reason why I love see's candy!) I also love the FREE samples! My kids love the lollipops & coin milk chocolate candy. Never a disappointment & always consistent. Today a sweet lady named Sandra took our order. She was super nice, friendly, welcoming & gave us great suggestions. Mahalo Sandra!

See's is our favorite off diet holiday treat. I visited the Pearlridge location as soon they opened at 10:00am on a Tuesday in early December. There was already a steady flow of customers and even the parking lot closest to this side of the mall was filling up fast when I arrived at 9:30am. The young lady helping me was super sweet. However, she appeared new at her job so it took extra time for her to pack (2) 1# custom mix, (1) 1/2# custom mix and a 1# can of Almond Royale. She did her best, but unfortunately, overlooked a few important details such as the iconic sticker seals, gold ribbon, labeling each custom box to identify its contents. Luckily, she was eager to learn when I pointed everything out to her. One small disappointment is that she was so preoccupied with packing my order that she didn't offer any samples like other sales associates usually do, especially since it took her more than 35 minutes from start to finish. I know! But we've all been new at a job at one time or another. No matter what, I have to give this shop 5-stars. By the way, it might be my imagination, but for some reason, the Pearlridge store seems to have a lot more variety in the 8 oz. Grab-n-Go bags which are a slightly better value.

I've been visiting this location in Pearlridge for many years! Love See's candies a couple of my favorites are the scotch mallow (marshmallow, caramel & covered with chocolate) & walnut square (chocolate layered with pieces of walnuts and caramel.) . I always enjoy visiting See's Candies here in Hawaii. For their delicious chocolates that is sure to satisfy my chocolate candy craving. -My visits are always pleasant, staff always greets & welcomes customers into the store. - Cleanliness - Availability of Seasonal merchandise. - I can purchase 1 or more pieces $28.50 per pound. Today I purchased 8 pieces for $9.41 + tax a little over $1 a piece. - Customize a box of chocolates for yourself or for a special someone. They'll gift wrap it for you depending on the occasion it's for. - I've also learned today from the sales person who was on the sales floor ( sorry didn't get her name) that you can customize the large box of lollipops with flavors of your choice. Upcoming is National lollipop day on July 20, 2021. - I always enjoy that extra piece of chocolate. (Sample piece individually bagged) Thank you! *Tip save 20 percent off lollipops & little pops (Unsure when offer expires) * Enter the lollipop Sweet-stakes ends 7/24/21.

Welcome sweet tooth. Who doesn't like candy? Well maybe Wilbur. Ooh who can get that reference? Hummm maybe Carmen? The place has it all from chocolate pieces to chocolate bars. You can stretch out taffy, you can munch on peanut brittle and you can find out how many lick it takes to get to the center of a toot......oops that's a commercial, I mean they sell lollipops. Individually or in a lollipop bunch. And for some strange coincidence they even have the occasional sugar free. Granted See's is so popular, you can grab their candy anywhere but at the store everything is nicely displayed and you can choose what pieces to put in a box. (Half pound box holds 12-13 pieces) And the plus side is you get a free piece of candy at checkout. Like how you use to get a free cookie at Safeway. I know you read that review. Overall five stars, staff is nothing but the greatest and who doesn't like chocolate. Well maybe a certain dentist. It's a pricey treat but an occasional splurge is good for the soul. Now excuse me, I'm eyeing these chocolate covered coffee beans. M

Anyway, on to my rewarding satisfaction of carefully hand crafted artisan dark chocolate. As timing should have it, their seasonal flavored truffle was Hibiki. Wow! Just wow! Big bold robust whiskey taste in this one. My Darling Angel knows I like coffee and Earl Grey, so those were the other two truffles in this custom gift set. So smooth! So creamy! So delicious! Thank you Choco Le'a for bringing peace to the world, one chocolate at a time. Seriously, we all need this!

Parking can be challenging, in fact, super challenging. We went on a Saturday (the only day we…read morecould go) and there was no street parking. We saw some people illegally parked on the street right on the corner, but they didn't care, they would brave a citation just for these amazing treats! I am sure the neighbors who live across from this place think this is a massive headache, to have such a popular chocolate place right in their own neighborhood - either that, or a blessing, since they can just walk right across! There are 4 tiny stalls in the driveway in the front of the Doggie Bakery and this place, but it looks far too challenging to get in and out and onto the main street, which is insanely busy on a weekend. We parked in the neighboring lot and purchased something from another business just so we could get some chocolates here. If the parking situation were better, I'd come back. I purchased the Hokkaido Soft Serve (weekends only, I think), it was delicious but I was expecting more fatty mouthfeel for something that was labeled as "Hokkaido". It was lighter than I was expecting. The chocolates, on the other hand, were fabulous and worth every, expensive, penny. By the way, who the heck nowdays says "worth every penny"? Probably old folks like me who knew what a penny was, and now due to inflation and the Federal Reserve nixxing the penny, it's probably worth 0.0012 cents now. Rainbow Shave Ice - it really does taste like shave ice! I came here mainly for this, as I've heard the hype and the hype is real! Hibiki Whisky Chocolate - nice and lovely. Dubai Chocolate - with gold leaf and everything. The Dubai craze is insane. This was good, but the least of my favorites. Six chocolates + one soft serve = $30.

They put the chocolate in an insulated sleeve and even include a mini ice packet to ensure safe travels to your destination :) If you have never tried Royce Chocolate's I highly recommend splurging a little. I am not really sure how to properly explain Royce chocolate and it's something you just have to eat to find out. I love the dusting of cocoa powder on them as well. My faves are the Champagne and Matcha, so far. I still haven't tried them all.

I assume the lot right beside the shop is some parking but since I've already secure a parking in the area decided to walk over and is very easy to find on Beachwalk. I was surprised of how small the shop is though there was two tables it was very close together and with already a couple seated with a pot of hot tea I did feel comfortable seating with my simple cup but did manage to browse around the various Royce Chocolates that they have and along with a display case filled with all types of desserts. As I approached the service counter the gentleman was meh and asked about their tea to which he gave me the menu and after a quick glance went with one of their specialties "Cranberry Mist" perhaps with the holidays approaching it sounded festive as it's Ceylon tea and cranberry cocktail...oo! Nothing fancy a tea brewed perfectly paired with the cranberry cocktail to kick it up a notch no garnish nothing exciting but don't get me wrong it was wonderful not too sweet very light and refreshing and just what I needed on this hot afternoon in Waikiki. Thank you!

While looking into the display case, I noticed gold and silver-colored sweets, which turned out to be freshly made Dubai chocolates prepared in-store. The owner kindly explained the production process and ingredients, even offering samples to demonstrate. He mentioned that the pistachio paste is a high-end product imported directly from France. Although the sample was small, it was very sweet with a rich, intense flavor. Listening to him was fascinating, and I could sense his strong confidence and dedication to his business. He also came across as very sincere. That said, Tanghulu is an extremely sticky and sugary candy, so those with sensitive teeth should be cautious. The shop also has a soft-serve machine and dine-in space, making it a great spot for dessert lovers. Once my dental implant treatment is complete, I'd like to carefully try their candy and chocolate myself.

Momi Dolce's owner and confectioner is Michelle Serota who is from Brazil and she brings her tradition to Hawai'i. She sells her brigadeiros (pronounced "Bree-gah-day-ro") by 4-pack or 6-pack. Her featured flavors are: -Dark chocolate -Crunchy chocolate with cacao nibs -Coconut (white chocolate) -Passion fruit or lilikoi (white chocolate) -Kauai coffee -Almond All of the flavors are intense but balanced by the premium chocolate and condensed milk used in making them. A fond farewell with a happy ending…read more Menehune Mac will cease their operations on Waiakamilo rd by the end of Sept. 2021. BUT luckily this is not the end like so many other local business. They are moving to a new location on Republican street and will be sharing space with the Hawaiian Chip Co. location. Menehune Mac products are a cut above other local offerings. Case in point is their dark chocolate. They use a high grade chocolate that comes out of northern CA called Guittard. If you have ever tried their dark chocolate products and compared it with the competition there is no comparison. The Menehune Mac offerings are clearly better tasting. They offer a host of other delicious products such as party mixes, chocolate arare, Mac nut candies in different flavors. Lots of logo items too with their signature Menehune mascot- great branding.
