Finally got to visit this huge See's candies store near Roseville. We decided to walk across the street from must be cow while waiting for our table. This see's candies store is honestly pretty massive. They had so much different choices in this store it was definitely overwhelming in a good way. We tried a bunch of different samples but I always get the same thing at see's candies which is the dark salted caramel. We got some lollipops and a box of their summer bites. I finally got my rewards sticker lol I've been trying to get it for the longest time and finally I got it so I'm good and happy with that. Shout out to david for helping me and my goddaughters. I will say that I've been a huge fan of "See's Candies" ever since the mid-1980s when my mother accepted a part-time job with them when we lived in the Bay Area. Their vast selection of milk/dark chocolates still amaze me to this day. And their color selection has always been timeless with simple black and white colors. The location I am focusing on is none other than their corporate store in Citrus Heights which opened in the summer of 2023. This is considerably larger than the majority of See's Candies stores and it a huge step up from their old Sunrise Mall location which this store replaced. Located directly on busy Sunrise Blvd and adjacent to Uplands Way, this building took over the space that was once occupied by Patelco Credit Union for many years. The exterior signage is very easy to spot no matter what time of day or night you drive past this place. I came here for the first time during the afternoon of Tuesday 11/12/2024 at around 5:15pm. Parking was readily available as I was able to park my vehicle directly in front of the building. Once I proceeded inside, the unique aromatic scents of that See's chocolate brought back childhood memories. The interior area is absolutely spacious, inviting, and very well-lit. The distinctive black and white checkered flooring combined with the vintage hanging lights still gives you that illusion that you've stepped back in time. Here, you will also notice a huge display case that highlights their gift box sets. This includes 1lb, 2lb, and 4lb boxes as well as other gift ideas. As far as their chocolate selection, everything is presented beautifully including their most popular options; Milk Bordeaux. Molasses Chips, California Brittle, Chocolate Buttercream, Peanut Brittle, and much, much more. I bought not one, not two, but three gift boxes for family members which were mixed boxes of their various truffles. Keep in mind that the prices here are not cheap as I paid around $120 for roughly 5lbs of chocolates. However, their chocolate has always been above average, silky, and decadent. The customer service here was top notch as the two ladies that assisted me were very friendly and knowledgeable. All in all, if you're ever in the greater Sacramento area, this is the flagship "See's Candies" location to visit. My rating, a unanimous five stars. read more

I've never been to a Sees candy but Jean made the experience a breeze as I came to get a box of chocolates for my friend! I wasn't expecting samples but she made sure I liked the candy before buying it which was so nice of her, I appreciated it. Jean even wrapped my box of chocolates for my friend's birthday. When you walk in a person always greets you. I was indecisive but received the sample of chocolate offered to me. I loved the beautiful spring decorations in the well lit store. I mentioned I was using a coupon and I received options about my box to fill. After choosing a bunch of chocolate, I asked if my scotch kiss is going to be in a separate bag or in the box. She said I can have it either way, so I kept them in the box. I was offered a rewards stamp card which used gold stickers. I'm such a loyal customer, I'll be getting the $50 gift card soon. read more

This corporate location of See's Candies opened on Sunrise Blvd in the old Patelco Credit Union location. Such perfect location and huge inside. The customer service was so welcoming. As I said, this is a corporate location so if your company allows from discounts at See's, you can redeem at this location on specific items. I've been in 2 times now and it's always absolutely sparkling clean. The manager is SO SWEET and helpful. Grand Opening is this weekend, and they have lots of prizes, sales and fun stuff going on. Ridiculous 'line' policy. I see others commenting too. Grabbed a few boxes of candy from the shelves and waited behind a couple checking out. Cashier asked if I was online. No because there was no line, only customers at the candy case getting their boxes of candy filled. Everyone was being served. That is not a line. So the next time you go into See's wait for someone in a white uniform behind the counter. Have them come around, carry your ready to go candy off the shelves and ring it up. read more

The new See's candies is right where the old Patelco Credit Union branch used to be. It's a large See's building. It also houses their corporate offices upstairs. The inside of the See's store is about as expected in size. It is larger than the mall stores, but has around the same amount of products. This See's location looks really nice! They also have nice staff, who were helpful and friendly. I believe this location opened 8/14/23. They are going to hold a grand opening event soon though, they mentioned. I wanted to see this new store and since it was close to St. Patrick's Day, I had to get me a few St. Patrick's Day potatoes. When I went inside, I grabbed my potatoes. There was a woman standing in front of the registers ready to pay for her things. There was no direction of any line, so I simply stood behind her because I thought that was where the line was in time other customers followed suit about four others behind me. There was only one lady helping out the counter after standing in line for about five minutes another woman came through the door and started racing. Her voice asking who was next in line. The lady in front of me quietly said it was me and she helped her just fine. Very happy. When it was my turn, she had asked again who was next in line. I had raised my hand and nicely said I was waiting behind her once I got to the register I was immediately reprimanded for not standing in the proper line. She told me "this isn't even where the line is " I said to be fair you didn't say anything to the lady in front of myself, and there was nobody out here directing us somewhere to stand. She completely ignored what I said, ring me up real fast and told me to have a nice day as I walked away. The lady behind me was greeted very friendly just like the lady in front of me. I am a very quiet person and I'm very kind so to be treated that way completely blew me away. As I looked around, I realized me at 42 years old was the youngest person in that establishment so when she reprimanded me all the other older women just gave me dirty. Looks as if I did something wrong when I was the second person in line just waiting to be ran up so I could leave. As I was walking away I remember telling myself I'll never come back to this establishment ever again. I've never felt so uncomfortable and just a simple candy store. Her name was Jean C. Based on the receipt.. I don't think it's fair that because I was the youngest person in that establishment. I was the only one to get reprimanded for standing in line as if I was a kindergarten I'm 42 years old. I'm not a child so dear manager, please tell your staff to respect all customers that come through that door. I never open my mouth, especially to an elder, but I almost did yesterday. read more

What's not to like about See's? This store is clean (it's fairly new), like all the others. Always greeted when I walk in, always offered a free sample and always given a coupon for my next visit. I suspect any bad reviews are caused from chocolate withdrawals. Worth the wait. read more

The new Citrus Heights store and its staff are "AWESOME"!! Hebeh, the manager and her team consisting of Felicia, Shannon, and Christine are very friendly, professional, patient, knowledgeable and positive. The store is always clean, the glass cases shine, the shelves are well stocked no matter time of day I'm in the store and the candy is always fresh! Hebeh, the store manager and her team always provide EXCELLENT customer service with a smile!! Hebeh and her team deserve a "10++++++" for their excellent customer service and for being the "AWESOME" individuals that they are!!!! There were two ladies working when I came in. I was 3rd or 4th in line and they were both very friendly and bubbly with all of the customers, offering samples just like any other time I've ever been in a Sees Candies. When it was my turn I was called up by Felicia A and...crickets. Very dry and cold, no offer of a free sample. When I asked for a sample, her response was, "What do you want" No options or offering of a certain candy. Barely looked at me, no smile, one word, curt answers to my questions. She had just helped the lady in front of me, and their interaction was much different. I was the only person who looked like me there, so maybe that was the difference. read more
