Stopped into Lolli & Pops at Arden Fair Mall today with BB after my doctor's appointment, and let me just say... I've always wanted to go inside. The second you walk in, it feels like a mini chocolate/candy factory -- bright, spacious, and the air smells like pure confectionery happiness. They truly have something for everybody's sweet tooth, and it's the kind of place where you can't help but wander aisle to aisle like a kid. What we grabbed: * Churro toffee * Crème brûlée truffles (7 pieces) Now here's the part that made me stop in my tracks: they have the churro toffee that's like the one I mentioned in my Disney California review -- same vibe, same addiction level. I was thrilled to find it because that's been on my "I hope they have it" list. But the portion? A quarter of the size for $4.50. Like... I'm sorry??? That's honestly insane BUT--annoyingly--it's delicious, so they got me. The truffles were also really good, but 7 pieces for $21 is a little steep. Not gonna lie, that price had me doing mental math and side-eyeing the display at the same time. Shout out to Crystal -- she was so nice and completely understood my little moment of angst over the toffee price point. Love when staff can laugh with you and still make you feel taken care of. My sister, her best friend, the niece and I came to Lolli and Pops on 03/05/22 as they wanted to come in and check this place out. I was in awe of how beautiful this place was on the outside and inside. There was a lot of people inside happily shopping and so were we. The place smelled delicious for sure. I seriously hate places like this as I cannot walk out empty handed if you do...that is greet self control. They have something for EVERYONE. My middle sister loves candy shops so she was busy checking out all the flavors and I was with the niece just following her and inquiring if she wanted anything and of course she did. I took it upon myself to try some samples and they were delicious. I am not really a big fan of sweets but my sister got a little bit of everything from chocolate to softy candy. Honestly it was so overwhelming inside with all the options to choose from. They even had unique candies I never seen before in my life. The prices were very affordable too! A male staff member came over formerly to offer samples which I declined as I already tried some. I didn't know employees had to do it! So I apologize to the store :( I was already sampled out by then. The employee let us know if we change our minds to flag him down. The store was very clean and organized and the niece picked out a huge candy bouquet which we (me, the sisters bestie and the niece) shared it. She is such a sweet heart. The staff was so wonderful as well. I honestly regret not getting anything for myself but now I know. The different types of rice crispies were so calling my name. My sister offered to get it for me but I declined but next time I will indulge for sure. Overall, this is a great experience! The employees were so formal and well mannered and you can tell they enjoy working there which left me wishing we had a location in my home town. I highly recommend this place. They have Harry Potter candies (chocolate frogs, chocolate wands, chocolate Hogwarts express ticket, Bertie Botts every flavor bean), chocohol (chocolate with alcohol inside), Pez candy, and candy from other countries. There is a giant gold gummy bear decoration on the back of the store. In the front of the store are macaroons and other treats. There is also a section for special soda flavors, such as Harry Potter soda, blue cream soda, peanut butter and jelly soda, corn soda, etc. The big downside of the shop is the pricing. The crispy treats used to be $4 and now they're almost $6. The cotton candy is $8 for the small container. The macaroons are over $3 each. read more

Cute and clean store. Unfortunately, almost all of the candy we bought tasted really old. The gummy bears had a weird texture. The jelly beans were so hard that I almost broke my tooth. I was offered a free candy bar in exchange for my email address, which I thought was really cool. Last night, I opened the candy bar, and the chocolate had a white tint to it, and it tasted really stale. I searched the wrapper for an expiration date, and it said best by June 2024. The only good thing I got from there was the cotton candy. At least that tasted fresh. read more

I've been here twice and both times we have received great customer service. During my visit today RJ assisted us and he was great. My son got the refillable jar for Easter and RJ helped by giving him a run down on all the candy and samples as needed. Our visit was way funner than you would expect when just picking up some candy. They have a great deal where you can purchase specific Jars and then can fill those up at a reduced cost of $6-$10. Oh and the rewards points are fun! I love earning extra goodies. read more

Upon entering get your sweet tooth ready, the employees are sugar lading, smiles they can't stop wearing till the sugar runs off, and super helpful, ready to give out samples you so desire. They have that nostalgia look, like its the old days back in the 50s - 60s time frame with the pin stripe decore and such. But with todays modern feel. They have candy from the hay days and the new crazy sour stuff kids and adults crave. Stuff from all around the world. Like wasabi kit-kats, german chocolates, hi-chews, mexican candys loaded with chamoy and other spicy ingredients, local USA made candys too. They have many specialty candys, stuff i never could of imagined, and some i dare to try. If you do like your sweets for the home or even office, they have glass and plastic containers to buy, and you get a sweet discount on refills for future visits. The one i got holds about a pound, normally it goes for $11/lb but with the container i get refills for $7. Different sizes are avaible from small to gallon size. And if you really like them you can buy a huge discount and buy a years supply, 52 refills which can be redeemed when ever you want. If you want to go in and fill it up 1x, 3x , 10x or use all 52 you can. They even give you a glove so when you choose your stuff you can push it and pack it in tight. Sign up for their rewards and get a free 1 pound of pre packed gummy bears and start racking up points for future rewards. OMG! I think I've heard all the Dad jokes and in just one visit. LOCATION: Inside the Arden Fair Mall on the 1st floor near Lush. Parking is available in the shared mall parking lot. All uncovered. DECOR: Bright and colorful like Willy Wonka abs the chocolate factory or care bears lived there. CANDY: There were so many assortments of deliciousness. Many of these candies took me back to my childhood. The good parts at least. The gummi bears selection is all I really care about and wow! It's massive! I literally turned 7 all over again. STAFF: Everyone I run into is like they're hyped up on sugar or something. Straight lunatics and I love it. Their super friendly, energetic and live to let you taste the candy. I'm not complaining. Saves me the heartache of getting a pound of candy home and finding out it's not at all what you want. EXPERIENCE: The last time I was there I went in with my girlfriend, Nikki, and the first gentleman was packaging and tasting candy at the register. He immediately asked if we wanted to try some. The place was actually very well orginized and clean for a candy store. There was a fair amount of selection and I felt comfortable walking around and browsing the different selections that they had to offer. Everything was so colorful and cheerful. Wow candy shop! This place takes candy shops to a whole different level. It's classy and had candy everywhere all at the same time. There were large counters of chocolate as far as the eye could see. Every kind of chocolate you can imagine. There was also a lot of candy that you won't find anywhere else, like the big giant rabbit candy. The inside is brightly lit, clean. And all the folks who work there are dressed and act professionally. There is a lot of cool candy and ornaments everywhere in display. We got some of the chocolate from the self-serve area. This is such a great addition to Arden mall! I love to shop and I love good quality chocolate. Before Lolli & Pops arrived I would usually stop by Godiva and get my 1 monthly allowed "sample" . Now I go to Lolli & Pops and get as many samples as my little heart desires ( but I usually keep it to a reasonable 2 to 3 pieces!!) And I can still afford to buy some to take home and enjoy later! My favorites are the salted dark chocolate caramel square, the salted dark chocolate toffee, basically anything dark, salty , and sweet! Workers are friendly, energetic, and helpful. They provide you the samples and are pretty knowledgeable about their products. They also sell hard candies, chewy, like licorice , gummy bears, in bulk in the back of the store. They have the dark & milk chocolate divided up in bulk. They also sell unique, gourmet packaged candy that you normally won't find in regular grocery or drug stores. This store is set up as an old fashion candy store, with employees dressed up in full costume. Wicker hat included. It's simply adorable. The costumes is what caught my eye and got me to come in. If you love ICP, you will love this place. They sell Faygo. I can't believe it, my friend had me buy a six pack and ship it to him in Georgia. Lolli and Pops is a top of the line candy store. Any kind of candy you want, they got. The staff are dressed like candy stripers and are always very friendly. They have everything, truffles, 10 pound candy bars, candy from other countries, sugar free candy, you name it. They also have a soda pop section with speciality sodas and sodas from other countries. My favorite section is the bulk section where you can pick a cute container and fill with candy to give as a gift. I usually get a bag for myself, and my go-to candy is the chicken feet. I would have never thought to try them but one of the staff recommended them and are now my go-to candy. They have gifts around the holidays, for Christmas I recently purchased a hot chocolate mix beautifullly packaged in a glass bottle. I was so excited to come here and take a look at the variety of candies they have. I was not disappointed, there is so much on all the walls and they have petit fours and macarons in the front. The staff were very helpful and we bought some truffles which were shaped like beer tops and some white chocolate candy, which was reasonably priced by the pound. While they do have a great selection, it is very pricey. The truffles were $3.70 each and I think the macarons were $3.50, that is pretty pricey to me, especially considering that a lot of places have macarons now. Maybe if you would have asked me two years ago I might have paid that much. They do offer more variety and I'm sure you're paying extra for the nice bags and boxes, but my tastes are much more simple. I will definitely be back to try a few things at a time. read more

I've been to the location in Roseville, but this was my first time visiting this location. The displays are visually stunning. The colors and bright lights draw your eyes towards this store, and the staff is bubbly and inviting. Perhaps they're on constant sugar highs? If so, I couldn't blame them. The candy and chocolate selection here is ridiculous! Even the sweet drink options are plentiful. I'm giving them 3 stars mostly due to the selection and the cool staff, but the prices here are also ridiculous. I could get a lot of the same items at World Market for about 30%-40% cheaper. A couple of the artisan chocolate bars were even cheaper at Whole Foods! Just saying. Still, it's a convenient store to get a gift for that foodie or sweet tooth friend in your life. read more

Always enjoy stopping into a Lolli and Pops as opposed to other mall-chain candy stores! They have a great selection at this location however the Roseville location is definitely bigger. I typically come during the holidays to but stocking stuffers like Pocky and chocolate filled mochi (for my own stocking because I'm shameless). I love their macaron selection as well although today I noted that the macarons are harder/crunchier than a typical macaron (which has that softer chewy texture). I sampled a truffle and some rosemary caramel as well. Overall I always leave with what I was looking for! The staff are always friendly. read more

I called ahead and was told the candy "cadbury nutties" that i was looking for were in stocked. The clerk told me there was a lot so i don't have to worry about it running out. When i got there and searched the whole store i could not locate the candy. I asked the store clerk...seems to be the same one i spoke to on the phone...and he told me they don't have that candy but they are working on it.
