There was a little, but I had hoped to be able to buy a big chunk of milk chocolate fudge. Instead, I settled for some caramels that were pretty good. In addition to the candies in the case, there are shelves of other candies, some vintage. There is also a shelf of locally made goodies. It has a fun feel to it, but definitely still working out the details of recently opening. The reason I rated only 3 stars was for the service. When I think of mom and pop shops like this, I think of the owner or someone close to the owner running the shop, greeting customers and making people feel welcome. When I visited, there was a teenager working who clearly didn't have any stake in the success of the business. She was unfriendly, disinterested and didn't engage in any type of dialogue. I get it, I was 16 once and didn't care much about my job...but if I was the owner of this shop, I'd want to know and be sure to have people working there that represent my brand in a different way. There's a craft counter, a chocolate counter, and an ice cream counter, and no clear lines or what not. The owner was out on the floor chatting with customers, which gave the place a welcoming and local feel. It was nice. A few times I hovered close to him and tried to find an opening to ask him some questions about the products, but he was busy with other guests. As for the history of the business, there are enough newspaper clippings and articles on the walls to keep anyone occupied while waiting. Most of the staff appeared to be high school- or younger college-aged employees handling the day-to-day operations. The ice cream isn't made in-house (it's Farr's brand), so this review is more about the experience than the product itself. The serving size was fair, and I opted for the spumoni. Yes, really, spumoni. Three other people in our group between their twenties and forties had never even heard of the flavor before. The ice cream is scooped from a mixed single barrel rather than barrel with separated sections, so the chocolate, pistachio, and cherry had blended together. It was kind of like putting different sodas into the same cup. While I enjoy ice cream and these flavors, others might not think the same. The standout items for me were the chocolates. The bourbon chocolate came with a huge flavor punch. It was rich, bold, and intense enough that I needed a break and a glass of water afterward. It's not for the faint of heart and you need to be serious about chocolates to have an appreciation for this one. The marzipan, on the other hand, was a perfect follow-up. Not to sweet, balanced, and a very nice almond flavor. It was delicious and served as a nice palate refresher after the bourbon's performance. Between the chocolates and the owner's visible presence this was an enjoyable stop. The chocolates were easily the stars of the visit and worth it if you're in the area.

I really wanted to love my cookies at Crave, and I visited twice over the last couple of months to give them a try. They're good cookies, but not the best. Both times I visited, the store was absolutely empty. They change their cookie menu weekly, and this week's menu was very appealing. One thing I noted is that every one of their cookies with the exception of the classic chocolate chip was stuffed with some sort of mass-produced sweet. Peanut butter cookies were stuffed with Reeses style cups, the Chocolate cookie was stuffed with what tasted like storebought cheesecake, the Samoa cookie was literally topped with a Girl Scout Cookie, and the Scotcheroo was filled with a Rice Krispie Treat. This made all of the cookies taste far from homemade. They were SO sweet that I barely could eat a few bites. I love sweets, but the fake flavors were just gross. The worst cookie of the bunch was a Strawberry cookie. It had a sour tasting strawberry cream topping that was day-glo pink! Extremely unappetizing. It was topped with a thick whipped cream that made the entire thing soggy and unappealing. I have never thrown out a cookie before, but it was really, really gross. Into the garbage it went. The best cookie was the traditional chocolate chip, and I would've loved the Oreo cookie if it hadn't had the yucky, gummy cheesecake inside. The cookies were slightly underdone and reminded me so much of Gideon's Bakehouse in Orlando, that same sort of yummy, sugary, raw dough texture. I gave Crave two chances and I was less than impressed on both of my visits. The employees were so nice and friendly, but they selected my cookies out of a warming tray. I didn't smell any fresh baked cookies and no baking was going on, just already made cookies sitting there getting dried out. They were served to me warm, however. There are much better cookies out there, and I just prefer all-natural ingredients or at least freshly baked cookies.

It was super clean and the employees were friendly. It had a modern and current feel. They let you sample and have a lot of tasty flavors. They have sundae's, milkshakes, scoops, etc. So many good options. I decided on the Reese's ice cream with hot fudge. The peanut butter flavor was so good and it had a lot of chunks of Reese's in it!
