While I was waiting for my friend to arrive for dinner at Noodle St located in Foothill Park Plaza, I saw See's Candies and couldn't help myself, but to walk on over and indulge in some quality and yummy chocolates. I have been a very long time customer of See's since the 1990's. That's 35+ years ago and counting! After opening the door, I was greeted right away by Steven (manager or assistant manager) and his crew. He walked over and handed me a sample chocolate. Now that's service at its best! Thank you Steven for your warm welcome and hospitality. This shop was very bright, clean, and organized. It's not too big... it has just enough space to be very comfortable to walk through. I knew exactly what I wanted as I have my go-to chocolates... milk pecan buds, milk almond buds, milk rum nougat, milk peanut nougat, dark almond nougat, dark scotchmallow, and milk butterchew... and these were what I bought. ALL WERE SO VERY GOOD! Steven recommended a couple new chocolates that I've never tried before... dark coconut special and milk peanut butter pattie... I gave these a try and they were just okay for me. Thanks Steven! If you like almond joy and resse's peanut butter cups, then you'll love these two creations. Prices per pound have gone up over the years, but that hasn't stopped me from offering my patronage and support. I love eating See's chocolates! I will continue to buy quality chocolates from See's. Thank you Mary See for sharing your deliciously divine chocolates with us! For the See's chocolates connoisseurs, what are you waiting for? Come on over and indulge!

Senior citizen reporting: plenty of parking, well organized store, bright, and welcoming interior! I was greeted by Sabrina, who is friendly and offered myself and another customer a sample candy! I was overwhelmed with the selection, first Sabrina help me, then Julia took over. By their personable, and professional assistance I was able to figure out what I wanted as gifts for my cousins! I love their Halloween sections. For fall, they have apple pie truffles and apple caramel lollipops! Yummy! It was a fun experience! I recommend this store! Sees is quality candy!

Snagged some cute summer gift boxes for my awesome landscape guys! And they threw in a free cinnamon sucker too!

Ahh sweet Sees Candies!! A California icon! I always like to grab some Sees for little gift add-ons, especially during the holidays bc who doesn't love Sees?! So I was thrilled to see them open up a shop here again in this location - it's so convenient and this shop is really nice! Everything is clean, well stocked and displayed nicely, the staff are always so friendly and super helpful, and they always give you a free sample of course! As well as a free lollipop with purchases sometimes too. I love that they have the candies on display and let you mix and match your faves if you want to build your own box. My fave Sees are their fruit creme filled bonbons - especially orange and strawberry. And I love the scotchmallows too! Their premade 2-lb boxes are a great deal around the holidays and are one of my go to gifts for my out of town friends and family. The manager of the store helped me today - and she was so cheery and enthusiastic- I enjoyed my brief interaction! The store is easy to find in the Vons shopping plaza with plenty of parking.

Beautiful new little See's location. They typically have a seasonal shop in this shopping center but now we have a location that's here to stay. Located next to the Jamba juice where the old Starbucks used to be. Grand opening celebration today and they were giving out so many candies. Employees were so welcoming and friendly!!!

At first, I was disappointed by the milk almond buds, which I have been buying for years.

But nooooo. Mr. B can smell sinfully yummy calories, even with a bag over his head, a mile away. Their specialty... chocolate croissants. Thus, we let Artisanal Goods lure us in. No parking, way too busy, way too full to seat us, a line bursting out the door, the tiny bakery cafe still seduced us. That is, Mr B circled the block in the car but pushed me out to get in line. It was the idea of a flaky, buttery, chocolate croissant crumbling all over his shirt that made him do it. And I had no intention of saying no. The line went quickly. The last Kouign Amann had just escaped my clutches to the guy in front of me, darn it. But there were still trays upon trays of freshly baked, massive chocolate croissants displayed in their custom, wood display case right next to the register. Sorry about no pictures, but you know how things get out of hand sometimes. However if you want to experience an orgasm in pastry form, I suggest you high tail it here.

Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was inconveniencing them just by ordering. A friendly attitude goes a long way, and that was completely missing. The coffee was even more disappointing. It had almost no flavor and tasted watered down, especially for the price. I expected a quality drink, but it was bland and absolutely not worth what I paid. To make matters worse, we were told to leave the patio an hour before the shop was even closing. If the patio has different hours, that should be clearly communicated instead of asking paying customers to leave early. Overall, this was a frustrating experience. Between the unfriendly service, flavorless coffee, and being asked to leave well before closing, I won't be coming back. There are plenty of other cafés in Pasadena that offer much better coffee and treat their customers with respect.

We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon, empty counter, aside from one employee. We checked out the displays, waiting for the employee to greet/assist us. Nothing. She was just on her phone the entire time. But hey I get it, sometimes I get distracted too. We then proceed to walk directly to the spot where she was and stood in front of her, thinking that it'll get her attention. Nope. Her eyes were glued to the phone despite being inches from her. We decided to walk away since it seems like she did not want our business. Passed the stall a few times while in the mall and seems like she had no problems helping other customers. I'm not sure whether her behavior was due to prejudice or something else entirely, but the experience left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Brightly lit interior with a simply designed aesthetic. Many folks were relaxing and enjoying the conditioned air. While the shop served plenty of in-house made coffees and teas, off to the side was a refrigerated section brightly displaying bottled Chaparittas tangerine soft drink and Tehuacán mineral water. I decided on ordering an Oaxacan tostada which came completely smothered in black beans, cabbage, queso fresco, and salsa verde. It was refreshing and made for a quick, light snack while also being deceptively filling. While waiting for the order, I noticed their NY Cookies which came in two kinds. One was simply the regular chocolate chip variety, while the other came packed with white chocolate chips, ate de membrillo (quince cheese), and tejocote (hawthorn fruit paste). I decided on the second one and enjoyed the unique flavors of the bits and pieces, even though it was very sweet. All in all, would definitely come back to dine and chill out.
