My coworkers and I started going to the la puente store every once in awhile to get a few pieces here and there. We didn't want to buy a whole box. We chose the "by weight option." That way we knew exactly what we were getting enjoyed it even more! I had gotten 2x$25 gift cards at Costco for like $39(?) and that was it. 2 pieces each per week, every week! This time I was on my way home and came to Monrovia location. It is a small location, but the Staff is so much more attentive and friendlier here. SAMPLES!! Stephen is the sweetest! I have reviewed multiple see's candy stores as it is my absolute favorite! But this location by far is the best one. The managers Stacy, Stephanie, and Stephen are all amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable. They love what they do and it shows from the staff that work there to their customer service and most importantly the inventory they always have on hand. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with the warmest of smiles, given a delicious sample, and offered assistance. Quality without compromise isn't only referring to the chocolate but to the store's commitment to service excellence. This store is amazing and I definitely will continue coming back. I typically come in once a month either for a holiday or a birthday, or just because I was craving a sweet treat. I love creating charcuterie boards filled with various see's items for parties. Whatever the occasion is, see's candy is there. The candies are the best and my absolute favorite is the bridge mix, if you haven't tried it you are missing out. While I was waiting for my friend to arrive for dinner at Noodle St located in Foothill Park Plaza, I saw See's Candies and couldn't help myself, but to walk on over and indulge in some quality and yummy chocolates. I have been a very long time customer of See's since the 1990's. That's 35+ years ago and counting! After opening the door, I was greeted right away by Steven (manager or assistant manager) and his crew. He walked over and handed me a sample chocolate. Now that's service at its best! Thank you Steven for your warm welcome and hospitality. This shop was very bright, clean, and organized. It's not too big... it has just enough space to be very comfortable to walk through. I knew exactly what I wanted as I have my go-to chocolates... milk pecan buds, milk almond buds, milk rum nougat, milk peanut nougat, dark almond nougat, dark scotchmallow, and milk butterchew... and these were what I bought. ALL WERE SO VERY GOOD! Steven recommended a couple new chocolates that I've never tried before... dark coconut special and milk peanut butter pattie... I gave these a try and they were just okay for me. Thanks Steven! If you like almond joy and resse's peanut butter cups, then you'll love these two creations. Prices per pound have gone up over the years, but that hasn't stopped me from offering my patronage and support. I love eating See's chocolates! I will continue to buy quality chocolates from See's. Senior citizen reporting: plenty of parking, well organized store, bright, and welcoming interior! I was greeted by Sabrina, who is friendly and offered myself and another customer a sample candy! I was overwhelmed with the selection, first Sabrina help me, then Julia took over. By their personable, and professional assistance I was able to figure out what I wanted as gifts for my cousins! Ahh sweet Sees Candies!! A California icon! I always like to grab some Sees for little gift add-ons, especially during the holidays bc who doesn't love Sees?! So I was thrilled to see them open up a shop here again in this location - it's so convenient and this shop is really nice! Everything is clean, well stocked and displayed nicely, the staff are always so friendly and super helpful, and they always give you a free sample of course! As well as a free lollipop with purchases sometimes too. I love that they have the candies on display and let you mix and match your faves if you want to build your own box. My fave Sees are their fruit creme filled bonbons - especially orange and strawberry. And I love the scotchmallows too! Their premade 2-lb boxes are a great deal around the holidays and are one of my go to gifts for my out of town friends and family. The manager of the store helped me today - and she was so cheery and enthusiastic- I enjoyed my brief interaction! At first, I was disappointed by the milk almond buds, which I have been buying for years. I had called afterwards and an associate said she would happily switch out my chocolates for me. When I came back, she said she had even tried the batch of almond buds and contacted the factory to let them know they received a bad batch. Luckily they had a fresh box to open. Both associates there thanked me for letting them know because they actually care about the quality of the chocolate the customers are receiving. After switching out my chocolates, they even threw in some extra almond buds plus some free samples of their peppermint krispies and their cafe latte krispies. As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted and pleasantly welcomed with a sample. While I waited to be helped, the staff also thanked me for my patience and assured me someone would be with me shortly (a small gesture that goes a long way). The person who ended up helping me out with my order was Sabrina C. She was phenomenal. She was efficient, attentive, had great customer service skills, and just a great overall attitude. I'm so glad she recommended getting my entire order completed while I was there (I was initially thinking of coming back to order some additional items). I had no idea how busy it gets during the holiday season. She likely saved me a ton of time!
