Make sure that you are clear on what you want. I told the girl I wanted 1 pound of chocolate only in a box. I looked online and the price is $27.25. So I got 2 things in the box, chocolate covered almonds and the California brittle. For 1 pound she should have done a single layer, but doubled each. She had 2 brittle per cup and 2 almond clusters per cup, so it was $40. A lot more than I wanted to spend and wayyyy more candy than I wanted. During covid another lady who was there was very rude and snooty to customers. But I didn't see her there this time. read more

Always loved See's and have barely made it to this location. Everyone was friendly and loved my goodies! My favorite is the dark raspberry cream, blueberry truffle and the dark Bordeaux. I am also very pleased to see them following Covid-19 safety measures and wearing masks so I can feel comfortable shopping! I'll definitely be back soon! read more

This is the fourth time I am leaving this review. Yelp keeps taking it down, stating this is more about the times we are living in. No, this is about bad customer service. My husband went to this See's Oct of 2020. He had a mask exemption, not that he needed it legally. He was screamed out of the store by a worker because he can't and won't wear a mask. She did not offer him any other accommodations. She even encouraged other customers to yell at him and chase him out. This was not ok! I have it all on video. See's did nothing about it. And now Yelp wants to censor it. Wow. Maybe See's is paying Yelp off to remove my review? Why else does it keep coming down? read more

I love chocolate. I was raised from a little girl with a See's Easter basket supplemented with all the cheap good candy (of course! ;) ) every year. This store never disappoints me. They have awesome specialty candy you won't find the same way anywhere else. Sees has seasonal candy that I can't wait to get to every year. I love divinity and their milk/white chocolate covered divinity is really good. They have an "Irish Potato" that looks like a potato and it is filled with this nutty divinity, and coated with a cinnamon-cocoa powder. They always have their chocolate Easter eggs--don't even get me started. They have pretty foil covered solid chocolates and depending upon the holiday it can be shamrocks, hearts, eggs, or the standard Christmas foil balls. They have these sweet and sour jellies that are really good--they're like softer SourPatch kids candies. They have cinnamon heart jellies for Valentines Day that are very spicy and delicious. They sell out fast. And, they offer so much more!! I think that saying anything negative about See's would largely be due individual preferences--a subjective view point. For instance, I love the See's chocolate and butterscotch suckers. I think they miss the mark with the other flavors. These just aren't flavors I like very much. (And I really miss the peanut butter suckers they used to make. They were so good!) So, you might not like nuts, or maybe certain ones, or only truffles, etc.; however, whatever it is that you like, they will have an excellent version of it. I don't know anyone that wouldn't enjoy something from See's Candy. (Peanut brittle anyone?? or even their sugar-free peanut brittle is brutally good!). I just want to add that it doesn't matter what location you visit, it's all good! Service, the people who work there are all awesome. In all of these years I have never had an unpleasant experience. I just stood in line with my 2 four year old children for over 40 minutes . Only to get to the beginning of the line and be told, in a very rude way we could not go in because we were too many people. The woman who came out practically yelled at us as if this is something we should have known and did not apologize or even try to problem solve and give me an alternative to how I can order online. Customers in line who felt bad for us and were offering to watch one of my kids while I went in gave us the other options. My children were so upset on the way home they kept asking why that woman was not nice to us without me even saying anything. I understand that these are stressful time for everyone but a little kindness and common courtesy is not too much to expect from a business. read more

This is an awesome See's location and so I decided it was time I go out of my way to yelp them. I have been buying all my candy gifts at this one since it opened. The staff does an outstanding job and honestly, I'm kind of a pain. I like to choose specific candies for each box, have all the white chocolate in one box, dark in another etc. They are so patient with me while I decide. Yesterday, I was helped by Angela and she is so sweet. She took the time to organize the candy to look beautiful in the box. Now granted my Dad probably won't notice, but I thought that was great and appreciated. I've always had a great experience here--super friendly, quick service, free sample, even when there are a lot of people. I noticed that one review here saying they didn't get waited on and I find that very strange. They greet every customer coming in the door and I believe they do sincerely try to get to everyone quickly, even when there are pains like me putting boxes together. read more

Tiny little store with HUGE personality. These ladies took care of each customer as if they were the only one in the store. This is a rarity especially during the holiday season! I am not a big fan of See's candies but I do like their suckers. The quality of their candies are not bad at all..I just don't like my chocolate filled with anything. The store is a nice addition to MH. It is tucked in the corner alongside Radioshack, GMC, and Payless shoes. There's a lady in there that's been with See's for 20+ years and she's super friendly. Go for the samples, and stay for the delicious smells of chocolate. You can buy pre-packed boxes or just individuals, or design a box of your own. Either way you can't go wrong with See's. My family frequently visits See's Candy in our home town but we had to be in the Morgan Hill area and thought we would stop in to grab a treat for the way home. We were so glad we did! We have never had a bad experience at See's, but this was the best experience we have ever had. Angela was incredible and she is what I believe should be the standard for all See's Candy employees. Angela was very knowledgeable about the candies, upcoming promotions, and great at setting up our chocolates and making them look amazing in the box. This See's location is awesome. Customer service is excellent, even the customers that come into the store are very friendly. If you have an allergy to any of the free samples, they let you choose another. English is my spoken language and I appreciate that it is also the language of choice at this location. This is a great candy store, in the old town we used to have a candy store where the goods as sold were made in the store -- this place is almost the same, what with the freshness of the sweets and the quality, selection and so forth. Friendly service and the heck with other sweets shops if you are looking for chocolates and related sweets : There are other types of sweets shops, but Mary See looks like an older relative of mine, so am biased entirely in favor of such places. The more of this stuff, the better, actually, without the "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory" effect as the food purchased here, prices and quality, taste and everything considered, really might make one happy!
