SUPER CUTE STORE…read more If you're looking for kawaii goods and gifts, this is the place to go. Honestly, probably the most inventory for the Anirollz character and plush series outside of when that company vends at anime conventions, so if you love those little guys and it's not con season and you want to see them in person, this is the place to go. They also have a very diverse and cute variety of other franchise goods like Poke'mon (the giant Ditto and bouquet Ditto plushies are super cute and I've only seen them on Korean merch posting accounts), Molang, Sanrio, Koupen-chan, Bellzi plushies, Miffy (probably the most Miffy I've seen outside of the LAX shop and ZillyMonkey to be honest), Chiikawa, Monchichi, and much, much more. There's a good amount of stationery there too and in the back corner they have a discount section. There are also a good number of blind boxes too if you're into that. I think my only qualm, though it does make sense with rising cost of living/economy/end stage capitalism, and increased tariffs were that the prices of certain things were a bit crazy. $23 for a small Halloween Sumikko Gurashi blind box. Not sure if it was out of print but god damn. Not sure if I'd get anything for myself here but if I need a quick kawaii gift stat, this is the place to go.

It's such a refreshing change from the same old big-box store toys--everything here feels high-quality and thoughtfully chosen. The store is absolutely magical, with beautiful window displays and whimsical little scenes everywhere you look--it's truly a feast for the eyes. I especially love the children's book section--always so inviting and perfectly styled. And the owners are the sweetest--every visit feels like stopping in to see friends.

Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. While in line, my daughter's friend, who was standing in front of us, was incorrectly counted as part of our family/group. When the owner handed us only two tickets, I respectfully explained multiple times that she was not my daughter and was not part of our group. Despite this clarification, we were still denied the same opportunity that many other families appeared to receive. What was especially upsetting was seeing several larger groups leave the store with 6-8 NeeDohs, while our family was limited unfairly. I waited afterward to calmly explain the situation to the owners, but my concerns were dismissed. One of the responses I received was, "You are making this awkward for me." Rules and policies should be applied consistently and fairly to everyone. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling as though assumptions were made based on ethnicity, and that our group was treated differently because "we all looked alike." That is not acceptable. I have always enjoyed supporting small businesses, but discrimination or unequal treatment toward ethnic minorities is something I cannot overlook. This was a very disappointing experience, and unfortunately, it has changed my perspective on supporting this business moving forward.

Decent amount of parking in the plaza if you are a car driver. Stock is decent and so is the selection. Since it's not in a super busy area, it's not as messy and disheveled as some of the other locations. Suburban hellscape, am I right? Back when the international students thought sports brand messenger bags were in vogue, I was able to get a Nike one here that lasted around 2 years and was affordable to my poor high school self, so that was nice. Can't really say I bought anything in the recent years, but from memory, not a bad location.

This store is always impressively well organized and well stocked, which means I actually get to browse instead of digging through piles hoping for the best. It never feels overly crowded, so taking a slow lap through the aisles is actually enjoyable. I've had some of my best TJ Maxx finds here, the kind that make you feel slightly proud of yourself at checkout. Everything just feels calmer and more put together than usual, which is saying a lot for TJ Maxx. TJ Maxx has definitely earned its spot as one of my favorite locations to pop into when I'm in the mood for a successful treasure hunt.
