And the store clerk was so sweet and it definitely made me want to buy more items in the future as gifts. My young son collects TY beanies and I think I will start collecting too. But one time it caught my eye that they had a small chocolate truffle case by the register counter and so I was lured in to get some of these chocolates. I got the pack of nine and got a pretty decent amount as to the variety available. All of the truffles were good and they stretched a few nights after supper for a small, sweet dessert. They weren't too shabby. Perhaps not the best that I have ever came across but not bad at all. Probably my favorite one was a milk chocolate that had a coffee presence to the flavor profile. Now that was a very tasty truffle and I could have easily have gotten a package of nine with only that particular flavor. So my first purchase here was a good one and if you have kids and allow them to eat candy this would be a great place to take them as it looks like there are many different types of candy at your disposal.

One relative is mostly keto, so I purchased some dark chocolate almond bars for her, and the other is more flexible so I tried to get popular milk chocolate for her - a toffee bar, some grahams and some chocolate blueberries (help from Puyallup Chocolates!). They explained that since the chocolate is made by hand/by the batch, it's not necessarily a specific % cacao. I also noticed some bath products on the way out. No tax at the location, it's a nice way to buy local and I hope to be back for some more gifts in the future! It's also stocked at Tacoma Boys, Thriftways in the area, and Metropolitan Market! I felt like the prices for premium "fancy" chocolate were extremely reasonable.

There should be someone back there", Something along the lines of she's " had a long day", basically just rambling under her breathe... we said yes please, and all she continues to do is wipe down machines as we stand there for couple of minutes more! Destiny on the other hand is working the register AND running to the back to stock up on fruits and other things for customers. Kennedy just continues to wipe down machines (which seemed cleaned by the way) and disregarded customers that asked her for help. Personally saw no customer service or teamwork within Kennedy. Didn't even get my ice cream after waiting 30 mins. It was pretty sad to see someone providing such great customer service while the girl barely did the BARE minimum. Great job Destiny!!!

We looked around to see what we wanted as she seemed a bit busy and it had been a long while since we came here. I got the flavor of the month: Strawberry Tres Leche while my boyfriend got the Wild n' Reckless Sherbet. I forgot how hearty the scoops were as it was a lot! I really loved the flavor of my ice cream and the sherbet was pretty good too. The inside was clean and the work stations looked well organized so I would say they do their best to keep it tidy. The location is right by the on/off ramps for I-5 and like all 7-11s it has the snack foods and drinks you need before driving on for Portland or where ever you go... I've always been surprised how often what I want is on sale. It's also nice that they, the chain, has ATM's that Co-op the big credit union group can use for free. I steer clear of the hot food case..kind of creeps me out and the fountain drinks, some of the cups remind me of the popcorn containers at the movie theater. That much pop could will put you in a sugar coma!
