I learned about Puyallup Chocolates when they were handing out the samples with bags to carry around during The Taste NW. The samples they gave out were really good and I know I wanted to definitely support them again if I saw them. Luckily, I learned that they have a location nearby where I lived! I thought they were Puyallup based but it turns out that the name inspiration comes from the Puyallup Tribe of Indians. If you look inside the box of the chocolates, they actually have a map and language which is absolutely gorgeous. If you buy the box set, you'll see the salmon imagery that The Puyallup Tribe identify by. The staff here are very friendly and professionally, you can tell that they truly craft premium chocolates that reflects tradition. They were informing me about the history which I love hearing about. Also they were able to answer not only my questions but the questions of another patron too. The boxes are on display so be sure to let them know that which product you want so they will bring out your chocolates that they keep at the ideal temperature. They offer a box set, a gift box, bars or chocolate covered fruits/items, and other chocolates for you to enjoy. They do also have essential oils, bath soaks, and much more! They will be moving to a better location in the future and they highly recommend signing up for their email updates as you will learn of their latest products and other updates!

OMG this is not your regular fortune cookie !! 10/10

This is a local spots that's easy to love. They offer a mix of chocolate covered treats .. everything from perfectly shaped chocolate bars, fruits like cherries with chocolate , nuts with chocolate to graham crackers coated in chocolate and even chocolate-dipped fortune cookies and probably other types of chocolates that I may have not noticed but they are super versatile. Each of the items I tried, I can tell are clearly made with love !! the treats are smooth, well-balanced and I felt like every snack I tried; complemented the texture and flavor. It felt more elevated than you typical chocolate experience. The chocolate itself is smooth and not overly sweet, so it pairs well with whatever you eat it with. Eating this chocolate is like an experience you WILL NOT forget. From the moment you bite into it, I was hit with a rich, velvety, full bodied flavor that feels indulgent in the best possible way. Every bite is perfectly balanced, smooth, and and sooooo satisfying. Hands down the most delicious chocolate I have ever taste. Once you try it, nothing else will compare. I love how flexible their options are. You can grab something simple for yourself, or go a little bigger for a group. They do made to order arrangements for things like company parties, sports events, and birthdays, which makes them a convenient local option when you need one of the best snacks that feel a bit more put together. They also offer gift boxes that are great for more personal occasions. Nothing overly fancy unless requested but overall well-packaged, good-quality treats that make for an easy, thoughtful gift. If you want something sweet that feels a little more special than store bought, without being over the top. Easy to enjoy, easy to share, and easy to gift.

Came here for a Yelp experience and it was fine. The chocolate is good. i was hoping we'd get a talk or someone to give us a little story about the chocolates, but it was some office manager who crossed off our name and handed us a bag of samples. Wow. So exciting. The office is impressive though. I'm guessing they use it as their showroom because they had lots of boxes on display describing what they had for sale with bulk corporate sizes. Kinda wish they had a counter where you could buy a pick and choose sample bag of candy.

Thanks to Puyallup Chocolates's generosity and teaming up with Yelp, I got to come visit this growing business's manufacturing facility! Can't wait to see them in more retail and local spots!

It was ten years ago since I wrote a review for Puyallup Chocolates and it also appears that I was even there as I was under the impression I was enjoying their products for the first tike recently. So this actual revisit feels like a visit for the first time. This Chocolate place is more on the outlet side of things as well as distribution. So what that means is you are going to run into the situation where they are only open during the week and not on weekends. Steve was fortunate to have a day off and run on over to Fife and get some of their products. He got the Chocolate Covered Graham Crackers and the Chocolate Covered Mints. I pleaded to him to get the Chocolate Covered Fortune Cookies but it still slipped his mind. So I made an online order and that's real smooth to order off of their website. I had it shipped to my mailbox and that experience went really well. All of these Chocolates are amazing! The Chocolate Covered Graham Crackers were amazing, as were the mint cookies and the fortune cookies. Steve also bought Chocolate covered Peanuts which are good too! Really, I don't know if you can go wrong with any of the options here.

Nice tasting chocolate. I got the milk chocolate almonds and the milk chocolate graham crackers. Both were rich tasting with no off colors.

Ahhhhhhmazing! Last week I was browsing the Puyallup Farmers Market online website, trying to find…read morea local business to support for my mom's upcoming birthday. I found One Crafty Cat and their homemade Butter Cake. I have tried Butter Cake in the past and loved it but my mom had never heard of it before. She loves lemon bars, so I knew she would flip over butter cake lemon bars! I emailed them and they were happy to not only make me a selection of bars in every flavor but DELIVER THEM TO MY HOME 30+ minutes away! The moment that they were delivered, I opened the boxes and cut them in half. I knew I couldn't eat three whole bars by myself but I could not resist trying a few half pieces (shared with my husband) before I took photos. The orange is deliciously sinful. You can taste every layer and it melts in your mouth. The lemon is very similar to a lemon bar, but much denser with a very smooth finish. The chocolate has enough chocolate to make it chocolaty but the butter cake makes it like a creamy cake consistency. All three flavors that I tried this morning were AMAZING!! I cannot wait to leave this on my mom's doorstep tomorrow morning and stand in her driveway singing Happy Birthday (social distancing sucks). I highly recommend checking out One Crafty Cat! I just found my new go-birthday treat!! These are a sinfully delicious year round treat!

They make their syrups inhouse, and you can tell, even a basic caramel latte tasted like the most delicate, handcrafted drink. They have fun seasonals, they're a hit or miss obviously based on your preferences, but I love them all so far. My go to drink pairing is a cardamon and ginger latte. The inside is SO HOMEY. It's rare to find coffee shops that haven't succumbed to the hospital white aesthetic, so this is so refreshing on the head. It is the ideal shop to study in. The cups and plates are my favorite thing about this place. The cups are handmade and just so stinking cute. The baristas are so welcoming every single time I come in, they look like they just love their job and love to chat with the customers. The outside of the shop is a mint green which really throws me off because the inside is so cute. The parking situation is a little limited as well, there's a few parking spots near the shop and the rest is street parking. They have a large selection of pastries and some food but know that if you come in the afternoon there probably won't be much left, they go pretty quick. Amazing shop, it's a different aesthetic than what most shops are but it feeds that "homey" craving that I have when I want to study at a coffee shop.

Every cup of coffee that has been sipped from Beware has been a delight. I like to view myself as…read moresome sort of coffee connoisseur and I can 100% say that this place takes pride in what they do. The wait is a little long and I feel that is because they take their time with each cup they make. Seating is scarce so if you plan to enjoy your cup inside, do come in when they open because it fills up really quick. My only recommendation if they look into the reviews is to remove the center table and put 2 more 2 seater tables if it still allows within capacity. Never change. Your coffee is great.
