I had fudge brownie and mini chocolate peanut butter pieces (vegan and gluten free). So good! My daughter got the peaches and cream chai ice cream in a cone (gluten free vegan). Came by once almost 4 years ago and wasn't impressed but decided to give them another try. I am an ice cream EXPERT (who prefers gelato). Inside is cute! Lots of lights and decor. They go out of their way to be KID FRIENDLY. They have crayons and paper at the tables for kids to color while they enjoy their ice cream. Lots of the ice cream flavors have bright (ARTIFICIAL) flavors to cater to the kids. Service was good too, inviting me to sample flavors. Unfortunately the ice cream JUST ISNT VERY GOOD! I'm updating my review to even lower review! We thought let's give them a try. Upon entering almost all of the ice creams were melted except for one case. I got a waffle cone with peanut butter and espresso ice cream. And it came to $9.63. The waffle cone was so chewy and almost tasted like plastic and ruined the flavor of the ice cream. Quality is hit or miss. The vegan and dairy-free flavors are mostly 'miss'. The pina colada flavor tastes like sugar water with chunks of canned coconut in it. It isn't creamy; it's sticky and the texture is off. Strawberry tastes fake, as if there's more fake strawberry flavoring than real strawberries. Disappointing. I think we're done going. read more

We were excited to hear this place had vegan options. We got the strawberry shortcake, the cookie monster and the fudge one, I forget the exact name of it. Overall we were pretty disappointed. Ice cream was crumbly, icy and not creamy whatsoever. The people scooping it even admitted to that's how the texture their vegan flavors tend to be. We love bliss and have been going for years! But we came in on 7/11/25 and had a bad experience with an employee with short hair and a mask. She got visibly annoyed when my 9 year old asked for a couple of samples to decide which ice cream she wanted. There were a few new flavors that came out she had never tried. It was so obvious but I said nothing. It was also frustrating how tiny our scoops were, they've never been that small. When we left my 9 year old was upset and expressed she saw the girl roll her eyes and get annoyed. I let her know I saw it as well. If it was obvious enough for a child to notice that's pretty bad. As much as I can recall I've never been to a Bliss location. Once upon a time when I lived in Colorado I was obsessed over ice cream named Bliss out of Boulder but I'm pretty sure that was a different company and my no longer be around anymore. Well, I've been missing out on not going to a Bliss here in Washington until just recently. There are lots of flavors to pick from but I took the traditional approach and got their Honey Vanilla flavor. And did I enjoy it! The freshly made waffle cones are also a plus! But with this ice cream the title "Honey Vanilla" isn't just a fancy title for just vanilla ice cream but this version actually lived up to it's namesake as I tasted vanilla and the honey which was perfectly woven together in it's taste! Alright here goes my last review for Bliss. I agree with a lot of the other reviews in the 2-3 star range. The customer service is friendly (although slow when there is only one person working what seemed to be the entire establishment on a Saturday night). I also LOVE to support small business', and REALLY like that they have this place open in good location and employ high school kids! I do not eat dairy, and have a pretty limited diet due to health issues, however when I find a good vegan ice cream spot I am ALL ABOUT IT! Unfortunately, this is not the spot for me. if you are weary about what you eat as far as additives, excess sugar, dairy, etc. then read on... I have tried Bliss on various occasions, and every time I am disappointed and feel ill. If you are looking for quality vegan ice cream that has a creamy consistency, good flavor and is worth the charge (these upscale ice cream shops are expensive), then I would recommend elsewhere. On my last visit I purchased a pint of the Vegan Cookie Monster which lists the ingredients and there are a ton of chemicals and additives... should have known then that this was not the place for me. For the amount of ice cream I ate (not even 1/4 of the pint), and the reaction my body had to this product (tummy trouble, skin instantly breaking out...) I cannot recommend their vegan product. For regular ice cream however, you still might want to try it for yourself as I cannot speak to this. Sorry Bliss, I LOVE what you're doing for the community but as far as vegan ice cream goes, I will be heading elsewhere. read more

Overall the shop was cute, pretty colors. And the people were kind! But the flavors were SO disappointing I asked to try a few and I was pretty let down but most of them . I discovered Bliss by passing. I went here on Yelp to check out details and went for some dessert after lunch. This is one of the plazas nearby Whole foods. They've kept their decor simple yet elegant with plenty of seating available with chairs, tables, and bar stools. The atmosphere itself is very clean and well kept. They also have a good variety of music playing, and awesome customer service- very patient and polite. The flavor selection was great. You have your options of vanilla and chocolate varieties, along with their own mixes such as the cookie monster. It's basically their version of cookies and cream, but blue. Cones or cups are your options. They also have a water dispenser if you're thirsty- no charge, and ready to go ice cream in their freezer. Their ice cream is AHHHHMAZZINGG! I guess people forget that we only had one ice cream shop for a while in the west end, Baskin-Robbins. I love that the south end is finally getting into the food scene. Ice cream with spirulina, nut butters, poppy seeds! Wow, so many yummy flavors. Went through the flavors, and I decided on the cookie which is blue from the spirulina and a second flavor of seasonal pumpkin pie. Delicious. Cake cone/joy cup kind is free and the waffle is an extra 91 cents I believe. For a child's scoop, it is $2.73 and for a regular scoop it is $4.55. The regular scoop let's you split the flavors.
