The tour is informative and seeing the sights and learning a bit of history. We took Trinity trails tour saw a bit of 7th street some off roading at the botanic gardens amongst the trees and shrubs. We will book another one soon. Takes a little to get used to the Segway but they are lots of fun and go about 10mph. My only advice is over 250 lbs would be hard for you to enjoy this. read more

Update: A manager followed up with me to make things right. He offered a complimentary tour on him. I haven't been able to take him up on the offer, but I appreciate the sentiment, so I am changing my rating since he went above and beyond to satisfy us. Original review: The tour guide told me I didn't need to worry about taking pictures using my iPhone, because he will take pics using his phone and send them to me. He never did. I called the office and left a voicemail with my information requesting the pictures but they never sent them or called me back. All of this trouble even after a $10 tip that he clearly didn't deserve. Lastly, the path was very dangerous. there were two accidents. read more

We had a great time on our tour of West 7th/Trinity Trails this weekend. Our guides, Angel and Richey, were very accommodating and did a great job training our group and making sure we all had a great time. Our large group ranged in age from 14-67 and everyone enjoyed it. At the end of our tour, the owner, Dan, was even there to make sure that everything went ok and that we all had a great time. The customer service was fantastic! We will be back to try out some of the other tours that they offer (Stockyards and Botanical Gardens). read more

My adult sons and I did the Botanical Gardens Segway tour today. Two of us had never touched a Segway before. Our guide, Emily, gave each of us an individual tutorial and had us feeling comfortable and safe immediately. It was an absolute blast! We were playing, laughing, and learning about the gardens all at once. It felt like we'd ridden Segway for years! I can't wait to book another trip to introduce my wife to the fun. Before I did the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens tour I had no interest in riding a Segway. I always thought that the people riding them always looked so dumb. After about 30 seconds on the Segway i couldn't possibly have cared less about how I looked, it was too much fun. Now I just have to convince my wife to let me buy a Segway for myself. Our tour guide, Emily, was great. I was very impressed by how knowledgeable she was regarding the Gardens and she was very friendly and personable. Next time I'm in town I'm going on the Trinity Trails tour as I just can't pass up the opportunity to have this much fun again. read more

I've called the number on their website (which happens to be one digit different than shown on Yelp, I've just noticed) several times over 2 weeks & have never reached a live person. Their recorded message is obviously the segway tour company, saying 'your call is very important to us'. HA HA!!!!! They have never returned any of my calls. My last attempt was to send an email via their website and still no reply. How can they be a top seller on Groupon if no one can make a reservation? Buyer beware. read more

I highly recommend doing this is you are visiting or even if you just live here. This is a great think outside the box activity. I got a deal on a tour of 7th Street and the Trinity Trails. So much fun! The company is also well run, the tour guide called me back when I wanted to reschedule and called me to remind me of the tour. Okay...first thing I thought of when I was told about us being booked for a Segway tour last week was the movie Mall Cop with Kevin James. Upon leaving DFW to return to LV I proclaimed the tour as the highlight of the long Thanksgiving weekend. We did Trinity Trail/River with a group of six and really enjoyed our first experience. Had reservations Aug 28th 4:00 pm Botanical Gardens. We showed up at 3:30pm waited an hour and nobody ever showed. Drove all over thinking we missed something and nothing. Asked several Japanese Garden associates and they said we were in the right spot. Another family of 4 from Denton Tx had drove in for a surprise to his wife and kids only to be like us NOTHING. We called several times I checked my emails nothing. JUST A NO SHOW ON BUSINESS PART. Monday 29 th still no follow up from them and they will not answer phone. Trinity Trail ride using off-road Segways. The leader - Scott - was very personable. The equipment was in good shape. The group was limited to six riders, so it wasn't a crowd. Riding around Trinity Park to check out the new shops and restaurants was cool, then we road through the park itself, crossed the river, and saw lots of great scenery. We even had some time to hot rod (as much as possible) on the Segways in a large, open, parking lot. That was fun. Lots of time on the Segway. Plenty of cool sights. Small group size. All in all, a good time. Oh, and the weather was great. I know Segway Fort Worth had no control over the weather; but, it was a really nice fall day which made the ride even more enjoyable. read more

I bought a Segway tour for 2,through Groupon,as a Christmas gift. My sister-n-law called and/ or emailed over 5 times in a two week period to make a reservation and no one ever returned her call or email! This is terrible business practice! The Groupon now expires in 3 days; so I have contacted Groupon with a complaint and a refund. The disappointment is with Segway of Fort Worth, not making good on a service they promote through Groupon! What a shame! read more

So this was scheduled as a surprise outing for our husbands birthday, we had bought a groupon, scheduled our tour on Friday after they were not able to accomdate us on Saturday. They asked us to arrive at 11:45, when we arrived the sign on the front door said closed, we decided to go ahead and wait. Its now 12:10, 25 minutes goes by.....we text Scotty to see where he was....no response. We were hoping they were out on a tour and just running behind so we waiting. Finally at 12:20 the owner himself calls and states Scotty cant make it his girlfriend called and stated he is sick and he was sorry because cant come up to do the tour either, he had just put his daughter down for a nap! I mean seriously! There was 4 in our party and another family of 3 waiting with us. We had all drove over 1 hr to come and all they could say is we will have to reschedule. I went last year with 7 people and had a blast. Bought 8 more Groupon tickets to go again this year and they said 6 was the limit. I dealt with Richard many, MANY times (when he would actually answer the phone) and tried to get him to be flexible but it wasn't happening. I asked to speak to a manager or the owner and got the run around for 6-7 weeks and never could get a call back from anyone. It is unfortunate because i would love to be a repeat customer but because of this POOR customer service I will never. read more

Buyer Beware: I don't like to write negative reviews but we have tried to get this resolved and the owner doesn't seem to want to make things right. I purchased a 2 for 1 Groupon at Christmas for my daughter to use during Spring Break. Turns out the only time she was going to be in the Fort Worth area was on a Monday morning before she left to go to Austin. To use a Groupon you have to call in to make your reservation. Their website says that their office is open on Saturdays between 10-3. She called during that time but got an answering machine that says their office hours are only Monday - Friday but if you had already purchased your tour that you could schedule it online. So she did that. There was no way to make a reservation using her Groupon. The only way to make a reservation was to purchase 2 more tickets. Since her Groupon would expire in a week and the only time she could take the tour would be first thing Monday morning, she bought the tickets for her and her friend. When she got to the tour on Monday she explained to the guide what happened and she was told to call the office later and they could take care of it for her. She called and the person she spoke to said they didn't know how to do that and would call her back. They never did. She waited and called again on Thursday and was told there were no refunds so she asked to speak to the owner to explain what happened. She never heard back from the owner. I emailed them this past weekend and again on Tuesday. Someone other than the owner called me back and said the owner told them to call and say no refunds. I asked to speak to the owner and once again they have not returned my messages. I was also told that Zerve who they contract out their reservations to won't allow them to issue a refund. I thought the owner of a company should be able to make decisions about customer service issues. I can understand not issuing refunds if she had not shown up for her reservation, or if she took the tour and decided she just didn't like it, or if it had been raining which is something the owner cannot control but all that we are asking for is a refund for where the tour she took was paid for twice. They have offered her another tour but that isn't acceptable. She has already taken the tour. Been there, done that. It was OK the first time but has no desire to do it again. She used information provided on THEIR website concerning THEIR office hours, tried to make reservations as stated on THEIR outgoing phone message, and tried to get this issue resolved the way THEIR tour guide told her to. I don't see why WE should be out an extra $140+ for something that had already been paid for by me. read more
