    This is for the Mission Viejo one since the San Clemente one closed!!!…read more Which was where I thought I was calling. Unprofessional and disorganized!!! I brought my computer here a couple of months ago. I drop my laptop off on a Wednesday afternoon. I walk in and its a little busy. Good sign. I wait a couple minutes and I'm finally greeted by a young guy(not the owner). He says it would be another minute. This man walks in and starts asking about some gadget he had heard that they made there. So the young guy starts talking with him. Shows him the gadget. 10 minutes later he comes back to help me... Isn't there an unwritten rule for first come first serve for your customers??? The guy didn't even buy anything. I start explaining the problem I'm having. He thinks it's the back light. I tell him it doesn't work even when it's plug into a tv with HDMI. So he says it could be the motherboard but they would do a dialogistic. So he plugs in my laptop with my cord and looks at it for few minutes. Then has a girl give me a claim slip while saying they will give me call within 3 days. I leave. The Following Wednesday (Full 7days later) I call and leave a message Just asking for an update since I had heard anything form them. Call again on Thursday (day 8) speak with a girl who tells me the tech wasn't in but he would give me call. So Friday (day 9) I call again no answer, left another message. Saturday (day 10) I call again! Finally I get a hold of the tech. He tells me he as already called and talk with me. Why would I have called you everyday for the past for 4 days if I had talked with you? I ask what my options are. And again he says "we've already talked about this and that I had told him to back up the pictures and documents" now I'm Restating sir you haven't talked to me. But I ask "if that's what you can do, how much more will this cost?" He says he doesn't know and would have to call me back. :/ No call back! AGAIN! On Tuesday a full 13 days after drop off I just go in. I wait about 10 mins and am finally helped. The tech comes out (also happens to be the owner). In a rather rude and annoyed tone he Again tells me he called me and I told him to back it up but I then called back saying not to... When I just wanted to know how much it extra it would be. After debating this again in person I'm fed up and over being treated like idiot. I just want to pay for dialogistic and be done. They get me rung up and I have my laptop in hand and realize I was not given my cord. So ask about it. The owner rudely say he has a universal cord and doesn't take cords. Ok that's a great policy if only your guy had told me that two weeks ago when I left it here with my laptop. My laptop was dead so I decided whatever I didn't need anyways. So I left. Thursday I get a text message saying they had found my cord and that I can come get it. I went in Friday and they apologize saying the slip had been torn off the cord. I'm not giving 1 star because they did find my cord.

What a breath of fresh air! He took the time to really survey the project, asked thoughtful questions, and approached everything with a great sense of humor. He clearly knows his stuff and has the kind of work ethic you don't see often. Honestly, I hesitate to write this review because I don't want him to get too busy for us! Rodrigo figured out a clean and clever cable management system for our sit/stand desk columns--no small task considering the cables shift as desks move. Plus he tidied up the messy cable situation around our video wall, which had been bothering us for months. If you're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and treats your business like their own--Tech Vet is it!

My laptop fans were completely f-ed up with dust and stuff so I was trying to request a quote from all the local places, Rodrigo quoted me for less than 100$ unlike more than half of the other places in the area trying to ask for like 200-250$ base price for only a CLEANING by the way (legit had me actually considering if I had to do it myself at the risk of causing damage to my expensive components). Not only that, but I could immediately tell that Rodrigo is super passionate about this work as well. He answered all of my questions + even gave suggestions and recommendations for computer related stuff when requested. While my laptop was getting cleaned, he let me know about all the good food places within walking distance, so I didn't have to drive away or awkwardly sit around. Rodrigo also helped to take before and after pictures, since my friends were all curious to see the difference since my fans were really just that messed up at the time. By the time it was ready to be picked up, he had given my old keyboard and screen a very nice courtesy wipe-down and also helped to make sure everything was working well. My cat gave my laptop a long sniff-test after I got back home without making a disgusted face or running away, so I guess I can say this place is even cat-approved. This also might seem like a bare minimum thing but I never once felt patronized at all while talking to Rodrigo, which has happened when I was looking for help at even big-chain places like Best Buy in the past. Overall, 10/10 experience, enough to make me finally write a review on this platform after like 9 years of using it and moving around multiple cities. If I'm ever going to try and update my laptop or finally get a custom PC built, I know that I'm going to coming right back to Tech Vet for things.

We highly recommend RX Tech Repair! Our laptop had been problematic for nearly a year. It was extremely slow and there were pop-ups interfering with a smooth log-in. We brought it to RX Tech Repair last November. Abdullah took a look at it and immediately diagnosed that the laptop was infested with malware. He also noticed immediately that the battery was bad. He has a keen eye. He pointed out to us a nearly imperceptible bulge in the area where the laptop battery is located. He opened the laptop and sure enough he was right! The battery was swollen and bulging. Abdullah quoted us a fair price to replace the battery. He offered to clean the malware off the laptop at no additional charge. He told us that it might be possible that our hard drive might also be faulty too, but he wouldn't know for sure until he performed the other work first. When we picked up our laptop it was working much better, but was still running slow. Abdullah told us that our hard drive was indeed faulty and might fail soon. He strongly recommended we replace the hard drive as soon as possible. We had some critical work to do using an obsolete program, so we took a risk and postponed our hard drive replacement. This March we brought our laptop back and Abdullah installed a new 1 Terabyte SSD. Again, his price was fair and very competitive. He also restored Windows 11 and MS360 along with some other software. Now the laptop runs great! It runs faster and better than when it was brand new! All during this laptop restoration process, we contacted Abdullah multiple times either by phone or text message asking him a myriad of questions on different technical matters. Abdullah always went above and beyond answering our questions and providing guidance and advice. He devoted so much of his valuable time and energy helping us without charging us. When we met with him in person he would also take the time to answer more questions and even demonstrate how to do things we were not familiar with. In the future, if we have issues with our computers, cell phones or other devices, we know where we will take them. Abdullah at RX Tech Repair is the best! I texted…read morehim hoping that he would be able to help me first thing on Tuesday but low and behold, he was working on Monday - MEMORIAL DAY!!! I set up an appointment and dropped off my laptop. Because he's a miracle worker, he was able to restore Windows without reinstalling so I didn't lose my data in the same day. I'm really grateful for this guy!
