Peter (the owner) worked extensively with my insurance company to make sure nothing was overlooked during and after the inspection. He was very easy to reach during the whole process. The actual roof installation was impeccably done by his team, with very nice looking flashing and ridge caps. Besides the roof, Peter examined my attic to check for insulation and moisture issues. He found several areas lacking insulation thanks to his thermal camera and he suggested insulation and venting options that fit my budget. I went ahead with his recommendations and this was now the first summer where our A/C didn't kick in on a moderately warm day! There were no unexpected additional costs or "nickel and diming". The work was completely thoroughly, beautifully and on time. There was no punch list of left over finishing work to complete at a later date. The crew worked full days at every opportunity - weather was the only time we didn't see them. They were the epitome of kind and respectful throughout quarantine - always giving us space when the kids were running around or we needed to get bikes out of the garage. They kept the job site clean which we appreciated because we were working and distance learning from home. Thoughtful, personable and fun, they cheered on my son as he made soccer goals from their ladders all while setting boards in place. You can tell there's a great culture at Muller that encourages hard work and teams who enjoy working well together. We were told the crew that was at our home, led by Ishmael, has been with Muller for 17 years (I hope I'm getting that correct) which goes to show employees are treated well, and it's a long-standing business. Communication was thorough and timely. Multiple samples were delivered to my home, to ensure I was happy with the color of shingles to be installed. The price for the whole service was well within reason. Since I had my roof done at an unpopular time (winter), I had the full crew at my disposal. Thus, they must have set a new record for how quickly the work was completed. The old roof was removed and the new roof installed in practically no time at all. It felt like Santa's elves were working magic up there! A serious effort was made to protect my yard from debris (though I will say, I wish they would have thoroughly moved back the heavy stones they used to hold down the tarps). We had several estimates from companies that never returned calls or texts or inflated the costs because they new we needed a new roof ASAP. The history why I have a trust with the company. My latest project was new soffits, gutters and guards. I am very happy that I do not expect to climb the ladders and the soffits are now venting the attic properly. My home now has a much better curb appeal. However, the experience was not like I had in the past. I am very disappointed. Surprise: the next day after 8:00 a sub-contractors van shows up. They are wearing shirts with another firm's name on the back. The worker has a printout with instructions and tells me there in nothing about replacing the freeze boards. The quote was based upon a sales meeting and his instructions. Based upon my past with Peterson I expected the quote was complete. Apparently, they stopped doing clear all inclusive pricing. Sloppy work and left my yard filthy with dozens of nails, aluminum piece, scrap wood insulation all over the yard and deck. I'll be looking for, and picking up the mess over the next few weeks. The use of tarps would have reduced the mess. I had a the roof replaced by Phoenix Exteriors a few weeks earlier and only found three nails near the downspouts. When I pointed out a couple of sloppy points, my home was blamed: "older house is not straight". Flashing with bubbles, and gaps where the strips tuck. The issues show up on the new "freeze boards." Not confident if the boards were put on straight. Taking advantage of elderly customers is not successful business practice. Scheduling: I had to call the office to get on the schedule. I was told Sept, 30, no one showed up. Two days later I called back and transferred to a manager. He seemed surprised and told me he would get back that afternoon. 20 days later I get a call: they are coming out the next day - 7:30 am. Lack of and poor communication is fixable. Peterson had an opportunity keep a returning customer. These issues point to a change in work ethic and can be fixed with a little effort. It's disappointing to see another local business get sloppy.

Mike then wrote a full report for me, with pictures, to submit. Solar company rep came out, Mike even took the time to come and meet him at the same time. Solar company admitted fault and will now repair my roof at no charge to me. Mike didn't even get the job, which I'm a little saddened by, because the solar company is going to do it, but his professionalism and going above and beyond saved me about $8k and at a time when I'm trying to sell my house. Thank you Mike. I am moving out of state but I have several friends in this area and I will only and always recommend your company.

They installed a roof on the new porch and although Charlie said he could match the new roof with…read morethe existing roof, they left a large obvious hump instead of a smooth transition. We also had them put gutters up in front and on our pole barn. The front gutters seemed to be installed correctly but the pole barn gutters were installed improperly and fell to the ground with the first snow storm. We asked Charlie to fix/reinstall the gutters since his employees did not properly secure it. Charlie stated he would fix it so as installed properly. Then we received a contract to pay for wood to install the gutters and were told he would not fix it unless we signed the blank estimate. There wasn't an amount on it, so we told him we wanted to know the extra charge (we didn't feel we should have been charged anything, but would be willing to pay for extra material if that's what we needed). Charlie then stated he needed to charge for more labor costs and materials, and said he has to "take care of his boys" and said he would charge us to reinstall it properly (as if it was a new project). He refused to fix the issue his employees caused and now we're out the money we originally paid to have gutters put up and have to pay someone else to do the job correctly. We do not recommend them and wish we'd read the Yelp reviews when the contractor (who built the porch) recommended Charlie Copely.
