Let's go! - Dear Dr. Eric Seitlin, Hygienist "Sondra" & Receptionist "Luz" - Please allow me to take a moment to thank you for a wonderful visit to your office today - Wednesday - 24 January 2024; - I can't begin to describe what a positive and productive visit we had today. Thank you all for treating me so compassionately and skillfully. All members of your team were truly on "There Game" today and delivered high quality care - showing that you are all are true masters of the "Dental Craft!" The office is extremely busy and popular; - Late, last week, I was initially given an appointment by the Lead Receptionist - "Luz" for Late June 2023; - My schedule is tricky - so this was the best that they could do - I can only do Wednesday Afternoons; - "Luz" promised me that she would keep an eye out for any cancelations; - I honestly didn't believe her! Yesterday evening, my luck - I got a call from "Luz" with a last-minute cancelation - Yes! - My lucky day! Office is very easy to navigate to and has plenty of parking available for patients. That's a bonus. Come prepared and make sure you complete your paperwork. My amazing Hygienist - "Sondra" - was waiting for me upon my prompt arrival. Sondra was extremely gentle, and it was obvious - by her careful technique that she was a true master of her craft; - She took a complete set of digital x-rays of my teeth and carefully removed stains and tarter using this sophisticated / cutting edge device. Sondra took her time; she was truly extra careful to ensure my comfort and peace of mind at all time. This visit was truly relaxing and painless - I'm not kidding. I can't praise her skills and kindness enough. She did a tremendous job always ensuring my comfort. It was nice to have a Hygienist who was so attentive to the patient. I was evaluated by the "Rock Star" Dr. Eric Seitlen; Wow! - Dr. Seitlen is gentle, energetic and highly skilled. This is a Dentist with personality who takes pride in his craft and is up to date on the most cutting-edge techniques in restorative dentistry. I'm looking forward to working with him and his colleagues in having my first dental implant placed. There was no need for me to be sent off - far away for a CT scan of my mouth; - I could not believe that Dr. Seitlen had this technology available in his office. I was incredibly impressed. I was fascinated with the time and carefulness that Dr. Seitlen's Dental Assistants took in ensuring that appropriate data and measurements were taken of my mouth and teeth. The cleanliness and design of the office is truly impeccable. It is no wonder that this is the Dental Office chosen by the NBA's - Charlotte Hornets Professional Basketball Organization. Front office staff was incredible polite, respectful towards patients. Everyone in the office appeared strong, energetic, upbeat and pleasant. I can't begin to describe the nonsense I have witnessed over the years in various practices throughout this country. I am a new patient, and was researching a new dental office. I chose this one because of all the great reviews, and I'm happy to add another review! I cracked my wisdom tooth, and was having excruciating pain. They were able to get me in 3 days later (my choice because of work), although they were available to get me in the day after I called. I had Dr. Sahil Vasa, and omg what a great and calming experience. I've never had a tooth pulled, so I was VERY anxious, scared, and crying. He came in, very calm, and talked me through the whole experience. I had questions that he answered calmly & thoroughly. I made a good choice coming here, and definitely lucked out getting him as a dentist. His assistant, Kentral, was just as calming & welcoming. She talked to me the whole time, and took my mind off the tooth pulling. When I was finished, all the ladies in the office were so kind helping me check out. They even made me laugh before I left out. It almost felt like home being there. HIGHLY recommend. read more

Have gone to Dr. Eric for 12+ years and he's been wonderful! The office has recently undergone a lot of changes and it has NOT gone well. Most of all... the customer service is horrendous. The tenured staff that was family for years is no longer there and the hygienist who installed my Invisalign bumps told me she had "no idea what she was doing" but said I could come back if any came off. She was filling in and was temporary. When I mentioned this to the front desk, I was told to at it was my fault that I didn't have a dentist to install the bumps. When I more recently cancelled my cleaning because I am moving dentists, the front desk staff said, "wow. Ok. Bye." It's one thing for new staff to be training. It's another thing for the team to be consistently rude. This is how you lose customers. Im so sad to see it! read more

Sad to leave this review after going there for about 15 years, but I am shocked at how far this office has fallen! Dysfunctional front office double billed me, messed up appointments (confirming then canceling the same day), and disappointed that I was pressured to get Invisalign for years, when I repeatedly said I didn't want it nor could I afford it. I have some of the worst anxiety and stress going to a dentist. I never thought I could find a dentist to ease that stress and anxiety as well as Dr. Vasa! He is so patient and kind and really cares about all of his patients. If you are scared of visiting a dentist, do not hesitate to call Dr. Vasa's office. His whole team really cares!! Dr Vasa's assistant is outstanding, sweet, and very smart, too!! I am so pleased with my entire interaction with him and his office staff. I had a good experience with Dr. Eric Seitlin at this practice. I called and they fit me in for a check-up the next day. The dental hygienist was nice and did a thorough job with the cleaning and X-rays. Then Dr. Seitlin came in to examine my teeth and X-rays. He was very friendly and showed me my X-rays, teaching me what the different elements of the X-ray meant. It was the first time a dentist had taken the time to explain things to me. read more

I went to this practice for 3 years and in that time had several fillings done. One of them had to be done twice because it came unbonded very quickly, but I didn't think much of it because Dr. Seitlin told me my teeth were especially slick. I went to a new dentist because I moved and was having trouble with chunks of food becoming painfully stuck in my back teeth. They determined that I have two Seitlin fillings next to each other that were filed down too much between the teeth. My teeth don't touch at all and food can easily get impacted into the space, which is also causing gum disease right under the issue. Additionally, another filling has come unbonded and will need to be replaced. It is moving around and has started to get some decay behind it. When the new dentist wanted to measure my gums, I was concerned because it had been very unpleasant in the past. I braced in my chair, prepared for the worst, and... it was no big shakes. A steadier hand took about 80% of the discomfort away. Dr. Seitlin is a friendly guy and I really didn't want the hassle of finding a new dentist, but after finding that my intermittent pain and gum inflammation was dental error, I'm glad I did. I look forward to getting the two faulty fillings corrected so I can eat more regularly again. 6/12/2017 Update: After my 2-star review, the office contacted me and got my information so they could check my files. I assume they verified because they didn't follow up. I'm taking away another star though, as I just had to have another Seitlin filling replaced today. That's #4 that has lasted only 3-5 years (including the two next to each other). Usually composite fillings last 7-10. I don't remember how many fillings I got with him/in what order, so saying they lasted 5 years is giving the benefit of the doubt -- I'm hoping I'm nearing the end of them, but the one-star "Eek! Methinks not" sums up my attitude toward his work. read more

It's easy to make appointments and the receptionists are friendly and helpful. The majority of their hygienists are great and do a good job cleaning the teeth gently and thoroughly. Unlike at the other previous dentist, I don't feel pressured to do unnecessary treatments by the dentists here. Both Dr. Larry and Dr. Eric Seitlin ( a father and son) are honest and patient. I called the office about one of my wisdom teeth coming in. I knew it was infected based on my inability to open my jaw, sore throat, swollen lymph nodes and ear ache. I was desperate to make an appointment because of the immense amount of pain I was in, yet I was told they would not be able to see me because I had to see an oral surgeon. Mind you, I am pregnant and incapable of having surgery. Got a second opinion and found out that YES, THE TOOTH WAS INFECTED. I'm currently on antibiotics that I desperately needed. If I could give zero stars, I would. I can't believe they would refuse to see a patient of record especially when there is an unborn child who could impacted by the infection. read more

What a great dental experience (is that a thing? can it be a thing?). Full disclosure: I had not been to the dentist in about 5 years before I came to Dr. Neidan. It was a mess in there. But he handled it so very well, and wasn't mean or condescending in any way. 7 cavities and 2 sessions later, I'm good as new. The hygenists there are all fantastic, and they have a GREAT online system for filling out information that is quick and easy. You can email their billing department and ask for an estimate of your dental work so that you are prepared with payment when you come in, which is awesome. AND.... he doesn't try to talk to you when you have crap in your mouth. That's worth it's weight in gold (teeth). read more

I am sad to say I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Eric Seitin's office. I had been going to Dr. G. Howard in Kings Mountain for years and finally decided to move to a dentist where I have lived in Charlotte for 5 years now. I asked friends and got recommendations. Dr. L Seitlin came up as a couple friends see him regularly. I was experiencing some dental problems and thought this was a good time to make the leap to a new dentist. I had lost a temporary crown, which ended up cracking the tooth above it. I was experiencing some pain, so I called and scheduled an appointment. I was leaving for the beach in a week, so Dr. Seitlin said he would schedule Ibuprofen 800 to help deal with pain and suggested I wait until I return from the beach in case there was any problem with removing the teeth (his recommendation). The day before I left, I called the office again as no perscription had been called in. The nurse apologized for forgetting and I got an script. So, I went to the beach. After I returned, I called the office and was offered one possible appointment (a cancellation) that was unfortunately impossible for me to take. I said that I could literally take any other time and to please call me if anything opened up as I was continuing to experience some pain. I waited and waited until I had another trip scheduled to NY. (I originally had an appointment schedule for 1 month after my first visit). My sister, a hygienist, was concerned that I was leaving for a week in NY with no serious pain meds in case my teeth erupted. I called the office again and was told to just buy some tylenol if I had a problem. My sister was shocked. When I returned and finally went to my appointment (a month after my initial request), Dr. Seitlin numbed me up and tried for about 10 minutes to pull one of the teeth. He then told me my teeth were too soft and that he could try for another 30 minutes, but I could just go to an oral surgeon and have them out in 6. So I said, it seems that you're suggesting that as the best option. Dr. Seitlin's office had previously run my insurance and quote me apx. 700. to pull 2 teeth and place a crown. That seemed reasonable. At this point, Dr. Seitlin left the room and came back telling me to go right then to the Oral Surgeon and he would fit me in. Numb, I drove to the OS. I was in the back room when their insurance person came in and informed me that they were not part of my insurance group and I would have to pay up front for the removal of 2 teeth (no crown). 1800. I told her that I felt like I was in a corner. I had no choice. My pain killer was going to wear off and I had no where else to go. She agreed and I paid the 1800. That's a long story, but I wanted to give all the context. I've never experienced anything like this at any medical office I've gone to. I used to manage 3 pediatric dental offices. I would never recommend this practice to any of my friends and I've passed this on to my current friends on FB. Not a good experience and quite costly. read more

I went in today because I thought I had a broken tooth. After only waiting maybe 3 minutes in the waiting room, I was seen by a very nice technician and she quickly diagnosed the problem. Not a broken tooth but a rough edge on a filling. After a one minute procedure of filing down the remaining filling, I was done. Quick and painless! read more

My family and I have been going to this dental office for decades now! Even with Dr. Shapiro, whom we followed to his newer office, but we became dissatisfied and felt that the higher pricing was just to pay the rent to his new building, while the services we started to receive were becoming more mediocre at best with every visit. Then we discovered that our old office had new owners, so we checked it out and never looked back! My parents see both Dr. Seitlin and his son Dr. Seitlin; they have said they are both thorough, attentive and have referred them to an amazing endodontist, although I am not sure of his name! My mother has always been really happy with her hygienists as her teeth are very sensitive. My father is a very nit picky man and has never had a complaint in the last decade, possibly longer, that we have been with them! My dentist is Dr. Niedan and all I can say about him is that he is absolutely an amazing dentist! I was pretty self conscious about my teeth until this man did a 360 on them over the years! It is to my understanding that in most offices, dental assistants will perform fill-in composites; however, Dr. Niedan has always exceeded my expectations and has done every single one of my fill-ins! He is a very efficient and intelligent man whom I have a great deal of respect for! When I was in high school, he referred me to my orthodontist(he is retired now), who was astounding! After getting my braces off, my wisdoms became a problem. There's always 50/50 when it comes to orthodontists and dentists who will claim that wisdoms will/will not affect your teeth alignment, but I sure am glad I listened to Dr. Niedan and got all 4 of my wisdoms extracted! He referred me to a great endodontist(Carolina's Center for Oral & Facial Surgery) as well. I've always had very rigid ends on my teeth(like a saw lol) and wanted to shave them down when I got my braces off, but Dr. Niedan gave me great words of wisdom to ponder about so I never ended up shaving them down, which I am very happy that I never did! I've always loved my hygienists as well! I am not sure of my current hygienists name, but she is a very sweet lady and does a marvelous cleaning; her room is the very first on the right, and I love her giraffe decor! I highly recommend Dr. Niedan to anyone who wishes to seek a new general dentist! I will forever be thankful for this man! He will not dance on your dime!! He takes his business and professionalism very seriously, and he will be stern with you to not put the top dollar you're spending on your teeth to waste! All while being a very nice guy though; he just doesn't play games and is very up front! My perfect teeth are the outcome of his sublime work and wisdom in the dental field, and I could not be a happier patient! Also big props to his hygienists and his superb recommendations! I would seriously be devastated if he were to retire anytime soon, so book those appointments with Dr. Niedan while you can! read more

I saw Dr. Niedan in the early 2000's and I am still paying thousands of dollars for his work to be corrected. I have had 2 crowns replaced because the material he used is cheap and not strong enough, and those crowns were done less than 10 years ago. I also had a situation where I could not reach anyone on call when pain from the dental work caused me to need medication. read more

I scheduled as a first time patient. The dental assistant did the quickest and sloppiest full mouth debridement I have ever experienced. I could still feel and see some tartar on my teeth when I left. You can't do a good job in a rush and that's what I experienced.
