Part of the gap was over an inch wide. And there was no transition strip (you know, the thing that's supposed to link carpet and vinyl flooring). So I called a very highly-rated carpet cleaning and repair company, and they told me they could install a transition strip, if supplied one. Two phone calls later, I found Salem Installation Supplies, a small company which ho specializes in flooring supplies. I described the problem and the gentleman I spoke with assured me he had something that would work. So, I went down to their location (which has off-street parking, FYI), and sure enough, they had a transition strip that seems perfect; it's the the right color, dimensions, etc. The nice gentleman even cut the strip short enough to fit in my car. I'll update my review if the strip doesn't work, but if you don't hear from me, assume that Salem Installation Supplies knocked it out of the park.

I didn't see anything that was of great concern, so I was about to purchase the home. My wife suggested we get our own inspection for the home, and I am so glad we did. After talking to a friend that buys and sells a lot of homes, he sent me to A 2 Z inspections because he told me they were the best that he has worked with. To make a long story short, Steve at A 2 Z inspections found so many items that the other inspector missed, including a leaking roof and rot under the house. If I hadn't called A 2 Z inspections, I would have been stuck with the bill of $11k that the sellers decided to pay when they got the second report from A 2 Z inspections. We love our home, and we have piece of mind knowing all of the little imperfections were addressed in the report done by A 2 Z Inspections.

The paint job was very "thin" and had literally hundreds of defects, including skips, show through, brush marks, roller marks, etc. When I pushed for a second coat of the color paint to fix the problems they refused. They referred to their job as "industry standard". So if "industry standard" isn't good enough for you I would find someone else to paint your commercial property.

First, we had ideas, but no vision. Rick's wife is a designer and came up with a few concepts and drawings. Once we picked what we wanted, they started working. Note that there may be a "line" of jobs before you, but it's well worth the wait and is a sign of a healthy business with lots of referrals. They built a gas fireplace and a large island with an Italian pizza oven, built-in kegerator and grill. There were hundreds of tiny details in this job and Rick took care of all of them. He is also a contractor, not a glorified landscaper, which means he will also do the gas line, lighting, and even extended the pizza oven's chimney to go through our roof. It's great to have a "one stop shop" with someone who is reliable and honest. Cooking 5 pizzas for the family and sitting outside by the fire with a glass last night made me realize how great this project has been. I highly recommend Rick and his company. I ran into him (see my first review) in June of 2022 and told him he still owed me money that he said he would pay back from 2019. He sent me a check for $1680. which was a down payment for work at my residence. The check has bounced two times now. (Yes, I attempted to deposit it again and see if I'd get lucky) DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMpANY OR THIS CROOK. We will see him small claims court. My patience has run out. He should be behind bars.

Mr. Nagel did the inspection on a Sunday afternoon, was on time (actually early), was very thorough in his inspection, gave me a discount (!), found a flaw I would have never seen, and sent me a report with photos that evening! My husband and I are very satisfied and impressed with their expertise, professionalism, efficiency and their high quality work. Their crew was very professional, respectful, friendly, talented and fast. A team of four guys worked at our house non-stop for about 4 days, they cleaned up and left the house sparkling clean and as good as new.
