He knows his stuff, and it's clear that he absolutely loves cars...there are a dozen vintage models in his shop undergoing repair or restoration at any given time. I once saw someone bring in a model with a rare 1940's automatic clutch and I have never seen a mechanic so happy about anything. He is frighteningly competent, his prices are fair, and he's absolutely up front. You will never have to worry about unnecessary repairs, no matter your gender. Go, go, go see this guy.

That kind of honesty is SO hard to find in the automotive world. They easily could have started recommending repairs "just in case," but instead they were completely upfront with me on all fronts. They did the alignment, test drove it and took the time to speak with me about the alignment. I stopped going to many automotive shops years ago due to mostly apathetic mechanics, insane prices, and ofttimes slim-shady dealings. This shop was professional, friendly, upfront with repair expectations and their prices are very fair. I was in the process of buying a 2005 Toyota Highlander from a friend…read morethat had been sitting untouched in Chicago since late 2021 and it had considerable rust damage on the undercarriage (struts, rotors and calipers) from the snow and salt. I took the car to 3 different shops before finding Aero Automotive. The issue I had with the other "speciality" mechanics I went to is that they didn't weld and didn't want to touch the undercarriage for fear of the car falling apart and not having the welding tools to fix it. (Fairground Automotive told me to just sell it for parts). I was lucky to find Aero! Mike looked at the car and had no fear of the car having the rust damage and even told me once he was able to really look at it that no welding was needed! I was fully prepared to be out of pocket a few thousand dollars but they installed a whole new suspension and for a responsible price! It drove wonderfully afterwards, however the only issue I did have is I asked for them to do a flush and fix the brakes and Mike said I didnt need them but I definitely did and had to take it to another place. No harm no foul tho! Still a five star experience! Highly recommend Aero Automotive to anyone

Lots of back and fourth between me, Hasani and Mo. Metro Auto is a little goofy but they mean well, Alberto and Mo really were the MVPs of the sale. Mo got me a great APR rate and Alberto was able to work with me on some tweaks with the RAV. It's been over a month with the car and there are absolutely no complaints!
