That told me everything I needed to know about his integrity. He knows what he's doing, and if something is outside of his scope, he'll be honest about it and point you in the right direction. He also broke the bumper clips that ended up being unsalvageable according to Bobby (owner of Platinum). He got overspray everywhere and broke parts that shouldn't have needed to be replaced. So an absolute waste of $500 on top of making the car look worse than it did before he touched it. I have been looking at getting it fixed for some time now and I came across Platinum Collision Repair and saw the great reviews and gave it a shot. When I arrived I saw a bunch of cars in the shop that looked pretty much brand new so I knew I was in probably in good hands. I was instantly greeted by the owner and I showed him the damage. He gave me a free quote within 3 mins of me being there. I took some time to see if I wanted to wait a few months or do it now but after seeing person after person come to drop off their car within 5 mins of me trying to make a decision in the parking lot, I felt that was all the convincing I needed, so I got him to go ahead and do it. I dropped the car off 7-25 (Saturday afternoon) and it was done 7-29(Wednesday morning). He told me Thursday just to be safe and I get a call on Wednesday morning at 9am that it's ready. That's including them ordering a new grill, new bumper and painting. They are closed Sundays and I brought it later in the afternoon on Saturday so really it only took them 3ish days to order the parts, do all the necessary repairs to other parts not being replaced, paint the car and they even washed it for me! These guys at Platinum killed it and the owner Bobby was seriously so helpful and did his best to get me right after getting screwed over and save me as much money as possible. He even buffed the overspray off my headlight for me and it looks like a brand new headlight now. The car now looks like how it looked when it came off the delivery truck a year ago. They did the job for so cheap too! Can't recommend them enough... so much so that my mom is asking me what's the address and telling me she doesn't care that it's over an hour and a half away from her after seeing the results lol. As a side note, purchasing the warranty insurance did not feel worthwhile in my experience. You can cancel, don't be fooled. From the beginning, we were told the car had undergone a 10-point inspection and that a few dings on the side would be repaired. Within just a couple of weeks, multiple warning lights appeared--including low tire pressure, worn-out windshield wipers, low windshield washer fluid, an overdue service notice (-139 days), and a "check forward safety" light. I made four separate trips--each over an hour away from home--to have these issues addressed, and only a few were resolved. Today 3/6/2026, when I returned to have the safety light checked, I discovered the hood latch was completely missing. At that point, I was done. I spoke with the finance manager, Chris, to ask whether I could receive a refund or exchange the vehicle. He told me they do not do swaps, only trades. I selected another car priced exactly the same--smaller, even--and was then told it would be treated as a trade, costing an additional $3,000-$4,000. Absolutely unacceptable. The dealership took no accountability for selling us a faulty vehicle, and I am deeply disappointed and hurt by how we were treated. Their focus seems to be on profit, not customers. Please do not waste your time at this dealership. They know the situation is wrong, yet all they agreed to do was replace the hood latch. gave me a half tank of gas, washed the truck, and then told me to go to a Hyundai dealer for the safety light diagnosis--which would cost me another $200. They would not give me anything towards it. SMH Please note: This is NOT a one time incident. There were several dissatisfied customers there today.
