I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Butler Tires & Wheels in Marietta…read more I went in because I wanted my truck inspected to determine whether I actually needed new brakes and rotors. I explained the symptoms to Wayne, who walked outside with me for about 3-5 minutes, looked at my truck without bringing it into the shop, and told me I needed both brakes and rotors. He said the parts would have to be ordered and would take a couple of days to arrive. Based on his recommendation, I paid a $1,000 deposit toward the quoted repair cost of approximately $2,600. From that point forward, communication was terrible. I repeatedly had to call the store myself to check whether the parts had arrived. I was told several times that someone would call me back, but I never received those calls. When I finally dropped my truck off for the repair, I was told it would only take a couple of hours. Instead, they kept my vehicle all day. I dropped it off at 8:00 a.m., and when I called around 4:00 p.m., I was told it would be ready before closing. It wasn't. I had to return the following morning. When I arrived to pick up my truck, I learned that only the brakes had been replaced because they had ordered the wrong rotors. This was incredibly frustrating because, had the vehicle been properly inspected before ordering parts, this mistake could likely have been avoided. I was then told the correct rotors would arrive later that day or by Monday morning and that someone would call me. Once again, no one called. By Thursday, after still hearing nothing, I called the store again. I was told Wayne was not there and apparently had not been there all week, but that the correct rotors had finally arrived. When I asked how long the repair would take, I was told my truck would have to be "worked in." I asked if I could schedule an appointment, but I was still told it would simply have to be worked in. After everything that had already happened, that response was unacceptable. At that point, I decided I no longer wanted Butler Tires & Wheels to complete the rotor replacement and requested a refund for the difference between what I paid and the brake work that was actually completed. John assured me he would call me back before the close of business with a resolution. As of after 6:00 p.m., after the store had already closed, I still had not received a phone call. My experience was marked by poor communication, repeated broken promises, inaccurate parts ordering, unnecessary delays, and a lack of accountability. I understand that mistakes happen, but what is most frustrating is the complete lack of follow-through and customer service throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend Butler Tires & Wheels based on my experience, and I hope management addresses these communication and service issues so future customers are treated with more professionalism and respect.

He took a look at the pic and offered a repair but cautioned that the pic looked like it might be a crack. I opted to drop the rim off. A quick inspection and he advised it was cracked but could try a weld and straighten the minor bend. The following day at lunch he let me know it was ready and was holding a seal. I stopped by on lunch and he put the tire on quickly. He saved us $320.

I went to the dealership yesterday because my tire pressure was low on my left rear tire. After an hour, they came back and said I had a slow leak due to a nail and they could only REPLACE it for $507. I said no thanks and walked right out. (My car is 60 days old w/ brand new tires soooo no). Fast forward to this morning at 9:30 am. I drive up to Smyrna Tire, park, jump out and tell them what I was told. They said they'd check pressure on all and see if they can patch the hole. Great! Welp. They actually found 1 nail in my left rear and 2 nails in my right rear tire. (Either I have enemies or I need to watch how I drive cause sheesh). On top of being thankful, I'm impressed and grateful. Had I bought the replacement tire, I would've had to turn around and buy another one days later PLUS I'm hella disappointed that after sitting on their lift for an hour and doing the extra ridiculous soapy test, BMW couldn't see that I had multiple nails across both tires. Anywho. In case you're still thinking of going somewhere else for any of your tire issues. Don't. I've found my forever shop and I'm positive I won't need to go anywhere else.
