After suffering a knee sprain and my orthopedic doctor recommended getting physical therapy I ended up here since it was the closest to my house within walking distance. Since then I have been coming here for the last couple of weeks and I couldn't be any happier with the results! I thought I sent this review, but just saw that it was still a draft. I left two messages make an appointment and no one called me back. When I finally spoke to someone on the phone it was Jessica. She seemed like I was bothering her and said she didn't have a referral for me. My employer faxed a referral that day and I called her back about a half an hour later. Jessica said she had 73 faxes to go through and she'd call med back the next day (Tuesday 12-12-23) but she never called. It's 12-14-23 and I'm at a physical therapy appointment at a different place called California Rehabilitation and Sport. This place is great. I did sixteen rehab appointments at the other place and Jessica never called me back. read more

I called your office to inquire on your business. I spoke to Jessica Guerrero. She was extremely rude, her tone of voice was high pitched. She seemed bothered by my call. Bothered that I was asking her questions. Ms. Guerrero made a few sarcastic remarks, which I thought was very unprofessional. This is Extremely poor customer service. Ms. Guerrero has no business answering phones, if she doesn't have the patience to to talk to patients. I tried calling a different day to follow up, well Ms.Guerrero's attitude was just as bad, If not worse than the first time I called. This lady has a bad attitude, horrible customer service. It's very clear she hates her job, she hates answering phone, but most of all she hates dealing with patients. There is no way, I am going allow myself to go to facility where the first person I contact is already condescending. I haven't even met this lady in person. I wasn't even done scheduling my appointment, and asking questions, which she gave no options like take what I, offering or leave it. She hung up on me. This lady had no care. Unbelievable. Sometimes these people tend to forget who keeps them employed. There is no room for unprofessional, rude condescending people like her. As bad as I need therapy, I rather deal with this pain than deal with Ms. Guerrero. read more

I went to an appt here late last year and right from the off the front office girl Jessica was so rude. She didn't even bother to say hello, and she seemed annoyed that I walked in at all. Now I am a very easy going and understanding person, but the least I expect from someone working in a service business is to fake it enough to not make me feel like I'm unwelcome. I didn't pay it too much attention afterward. I called afterward to make my next appointment and again Jessica answered and acted like I was bothering her. She again had personality but all the wrong type. She wasn't very helpful in scheduling my appointment and I got annoyed she wasn't helpful at all for such a simple mundane task. Frustrated I decided I would call back on another day to try and schedule. About 2-3 months passed... I called back to make another appointment and again she answered and was just as rude and annoyed. When she asked questions it was asked with the biggest attitude. She asked me if I was a new patient or existing. I answered existing since I had been seen before and then she got my information and looked me up. She then said, you haven't been here for 3 months you're not an existing patient! Literally told me like I was in trouble from the principal in school or something. Wrong answer I guess. Again, so frustrated and this point angry she would be so rude repeatedly. She has no courtesy, respect, or customer service skills. You know those people that are just really over the top negative to where anytime you have to deal with them they just suck any energy you had away and you feel exhausted afterwards? Yeah, thats what it's like to deal with her. Honestly, she's easily the worst front desk/receptionist person I've ever dealt with. The therapist and the rest of the staff are great and I normally wouldn't put much thought into a poor receptionist, but she really is that bad. Won't be back. read more

Let's just say that my experience at select physical therapy with Annalisa Ronning was very rude. the POET test given to me by this person was unfair or either disliked me for whatever reason. She wasn't really nice at all or welcoming. I've never had to take a physical so badly in my life, not to mention she wasn't very clear on directions given. She even said she did these test all day and seemed just bored and exhausted from it. Maybe even why she just grabs a seat and just sits and watch you not even paying attention. I had to come twice. She even told me she didn't remember how I did on my last test. As if nothing was recorded or written down. I would not recommend her to any patient. Anyone coming in for service should feel welcomed, comfortable and feeling just damn good with their trainer. I was not happy just disappointed with how things went. No one really wants to go to PT at first, but after coming to Select for 5 months now I really do look forward to it. Everyone is friendly and the clinic has a great atmosphere, a perfect mix of humor and professionalism. I tore my ACL on my left knee in March playing flag football and this was my first ever injury.. so you can imagine the fear, doubt, stress going on in my head thinking I won't get back to normal. Mark and Adrian are very knowledgeable and know how to put my mind at ease, keeping me on track to make sure I'm always progressing. Another great thing about Select is they won't overcharge you if you stay longer to finish your exercises. Their main priority is for you to get better and it really does feel like a family here. I was referred to Select Physical Therapy by a friend after my daughter suffered a severe ankle sprain. It was a bit of a drive for us but it was well worth it. Mark and his team are friendly and professional. They're great with kids, patient and caring. We never felt rushed. They took the time to make sure we understood what exercises they were doing and what we needed to do at home. The facilities were clean and modern. You didn't feel like you walked into some under-budgeted hole in the wall. I highly recommend visiting this office for rehabilitation. Mark and his team are the best in the business. Okay, Al's back to say a few things about a few things on Yelp... I came to Select Physical Therapy because I had a really messed up left knee, and my surgeon's office is right next door. I had been to other PT offices in the past, that I had to travel a bit to get to, so this place was a no brainer. Plus, I came in to check out the joint after seeing my Doc, and liked the looks of the facility, the equipment and because Doc said Kobe had rehabbed his whatsit here... So, a few days later I had my initial appointment with a pretty young lady named Donna, my new Physical Therapist. She interviewed me like I was applying for a job as the Old Crippled Guy in front of Wal-Mart. The look on her face as she was listening to what I told her that I had just been through was pure horror, and sympathy... Just remember I had a really messed up left knee. Like, it wouldn't bend, and I had no strength or muscle tone. She had her work cut out for her, And, So Did I... The Amazing Donna hired me as her next project to get me "Back To Normal". Momma I Got The Job!!! My first few sessions were the normal "Try to lift this feather without breaking your hip", or "Tighten that What-Used-To-Be-A-Muscle on your little girl, chicken leg, without giving yourself an aneurysm". Lightweight stuff to see if I'm ready to move on to the PAINFUL PART... Then I graduated to the "Let's Try To Bend This Knee Part Of The Story". I was an active, strong guy, that used to cycle 25-40 miles a day 3 to 4 times a week, so I needed to get my knee back to where I was at least able to push a scooter down the street with the rest of the kids. Donna was a Real Trooper in trying to get my knee to bend. She was relentless, and determined to bend the unbendable... It was painful for me to say the least, and there were times that I didn't want to come to therapy because it hurt so damned much. I would sit at home and cry, until my Momma would pull me by my bangs, and throw me in the car to come here. Eventually I was seeing progress, as the knee was starting to bend more and more each session. I was getting stronger, and Donna kept adding more and more harder exercises to my bag of tricks. And, That's where the rest of this Amazing Staff comes into my story... Select Therapy has some really amazing people to assist Donna, and Mark and Natalie, the other two Physical Therapists. First there is Adrian. This Awesome young man was always there for me, bringing me whatever I needed to do my exercises. He would also talk sports, good restaurants, guy-talk, you name it, with me. Always asking me how I was doing, or how a certain exercise was feeling. Genuine concern for me... Then there was Jasmine, who would help out whenever it got too busy on the floor. This busy young lady was Equally Amazing, helping me out with advice on keeping my form on my exercises, and providing encouragement that I needed to get through this stuff. She is also Spanish speaking for patients that need that, and she would say things to Adrian to try to get him to be more bilingual, HAHAHA. Both Adrian and Jasmine were very important to my recovery. I appreciate all that they did for me. Let's get back to my recovery and progress... Donna was always there for me whenever I told her that I wanted to step it up, to get stronger, to get back to normal. One day while I was warming up on the stationary bike, I finally was able to bend my knee enough to, "Wait For It", make a complete revolution with the bike sprocket!!! This was the most exciting thing that had ever happened in my life!!! I started screaming like I just won the lottery. This is the kind of progress that one can only dream of, when you ride bikes for a living and haven't bent your knee for two months... I started jumping up and down, then Donna screamed at me to stop before I hurt myself again. See, she was always there for my well being. Like my Mom, or my 3rd Grade Teacher, she was always trying to keep this trouble-maker in check!!! All kidding aside, I couldn't have done this without Donna making me believe that I would one day be bending my knee, and riding the trails again. She was tough with me, but I needed it. That, and the little plunger that farted whenever she put it on my kneecap. That little thing was an amazing pain reliever... After almost 7 months of physical therapy, and working with Donna to get my knee to bend almost 95% of what it used to bend, I'm Back!!! I'm riding 25-35 miles 2 to 3 times a week. I'm going to the gym, doing weight training to get my quad muscle back to looking like my other leg. I'm feeling better than ever, and imagine this... I'm Pain Free! I have to tell you in all seriousness, the only way that anybody is going to get any better from any kind of injury is by doing the hard work, strengthening yourself and believing that You Are Going To Get Better. Mark Takesue did a great job with the therapy itself and was awesome to work with. What wasn't awesome to work with us the billing afterwards. The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because of Mark because I had not received a single bill for my therapy until it had all built up afterwards and I found out only after double checking myself to see if there were any problems. They had not reached out to me and sent the billing to the wrong address even after I had talked with someone at the front desk to correct where the billing should be sent. I made an extra effort to ensure they would get the billing right after reading other reviews and their problems with this locations billing issues but even with the extra care and attention brought, the same disappointing outcome has occurred. The staff here is very friendly and professional. I am satisfied with the therapy itself. However, be careful when the office staff checks your insurance for co-pays and eligibility. I trusted the staff and got screwed. The gal check my insurance and told me that I was covered at 100%. She made a big mistake and now I'm paying for it with a bill that is over $3500! I called their payment department to make a payment arrangement but they would not work with me. I don't have a job at the moment and I told them that. But since I couldn't pay $150 per month, they sent my account to collections without even giving me a chance to work something out. So, if you pick this organization, be very careful. Don't rely on the office staff to check your insurance; they make BIG mistakes and worse, they don't make it right. read more

First off, I should have been put on notice when I made my initial appointment. The office staff was just plain rude to me. I went through my physical therapy sessions, and was pleased with the results, but that is where it ended Select Physical Therapy did not bill me for 6 months, then when they did send a bill, they expected payment in less than a month. Select said that my account was past due, but they admitted to not sending a bill I paid my bill within their time frame, only to find out that they sent it to collections Now 3 months later, I see that they posted negative information on my credit report. So...I can their central billing office in PA, and they admitted their mistakes and promised to have it fixed in a few days. A few days later, a different credit agency posted more negative comments on my credit report. I will call them in the morning and give them a "piece of my mind", but a warning to anyone who even considers going to them. Their billings a mess, and you have been warned read more

It's clean, spacious and great equipment. The staff across the board is friendly and professional. They will work with your quirks, ( if you are a germaphobe like me). The team of PT Assistants same, they are patient, kind and work closely with you. They do have staff that is Bi-lingual ( espanol ). And although I don't know whoever you are that is reading this I can echo his exact words STOP LOOKING,! because Select Physical Therapy Anaheim is the place to rehab, PERIOD!! From the moment you walk in you are greeted by two very friendly smiles both Carmen and Liz welcome you and then you are sent to the back room where all of the parts of your rehab puzzle fit beautifully together. Both David and Adrian, PT's in the making have such a wonderful understanding of what it takes to get you ready for what I can only describe as intense rehab work because, we all know it just has to be done. In my six weeks of physical therapy I have had the pleasure and pain (lol) of working with Natalie, Mark, and Donna I call them the big three. They are all highly educated with more certifications than I can mention but more importantly they are great at their craft. When I arrived six weeks ago in a walker I was in some pretty good pain and pretty low on confidence never being able to see beyond the swelling and staples they convinced me that it was all normal and it was all going to go away and I was going to be able to walk and feel great and they DID NOT LIE!! Although, I am not completely done I feel unbelievable. Obviously I thank my great surgeon, Dr Gorab, but never forgetting that it takes a village. Amazing - absolutely above and beyond. I am a full time athlete, which usually equates to many aches and pains as wear and tear starts to occur during training. However, after I pulled my hamstring I was so grateful my doctor recommended Select Physical Therapy - not only did I get 5 star treatment that didn't have a time limit, Mark and David also helped me rehabilitate injuries that I had been dealing with for years and previously just accepted that I would have forever. And even though I no longer need their services, they still reached out to let me know I can email them any time with questions about my future aches - they are inevitable after all. I was sent here by my foot specialist doctor after I fractured my ankle at work. These people are fantastic all of the therapists and all of the workers including the two front of house workers are super friendly and always helpful. My doctor asked if I would like to do therapy at home by myself or go to a physical therapist. I knew the only way to ensure I was actually getting it done was to be forced to go for an hour a day every other day. When I began at first many of the exercises we did were very difficult but after an hour of workout they rub you down and put you in a ice system boot thing and attach little nerve zapper pads to relax your worked out area. Very cool technology and it works. Each time I went the whole staff got to know me better, asking how it felt when I came in each time etc. I really felt like I got to know them and they encouraged and corrected my exercises each time. It was kinda sad that I had finished my allotted appointments but it means I am healing and that is good news! Thanks again for all you do up there! read more

Had surgery on my torn perineal tendon and my whole foot reconstructed, I've been out of work now for over 3 months. My workers comp set me up with Select physical therapy. I've been to a physical therapy place before in the past for a dif injury and it didn't do much help for me. So I was kind of hesitant at first to even getting physical therapy for my foot. But let me just say. Select Physical Therapy is amazing. They absolutely know what they're doing. My foot and walking has improved much faster then I ever would of imagined. Very friendly staff as well. They keep a written journal for your daily warm ups and exercises for the area you're working on. Every session they massage the specific area and do dif test to see how you're improving. I highly recommend this place to anyone. read more

I came to Select PT in January of 2017 after I had MPFL Reconstruction surgery on my left knee. I'd been to several other PT places and neither me nor my doctor were happy with any of them. Now, we are both more than happy with Donna and Select PT.  Donna is extremely knowledgeable and really made sure I didn't overdo or underdo my physical therapy so that my left knee would rehab well. Adrian was always there to make sure I was doing my exercises correctly and to make me laugh with his jokes. My knee was ready to be cleared within five months of my surgery date. When it came time for me to have the same surgery on my right knee, it was a no brainer (and also requested by my surgeon) to go back to Select and Donna.  She's gone out of her way to make sure my doctor is always kept in the loop on my recovery and has been the patient advocate that I've needed. I really can't thank her and Adrian enough for helping me the last eight months with the ups and downs of rehabbing two knees back to back. I couldn't have had a better rehabbing experience, coming back from both of my surgeries and I owe it to Donna and Adrian. Everyone at Select is friendly and nice and really treat patients like they are family. I'm actually going to be sad to leave when my right knee gets cleared!
