My daughter had been coming here for physical therapy. She enjoys the personal attention and support provided by the staff. We're happy with the commitment from the team and the improvement it has made in her overall health and experience. We recommend Able PT for pediatric therapy in Anaheim!

Able Physical therapy is wonderful. Very professional workers and inventive. I had a spinal fusion; they've gone out their way to take care of me. I definitely recommend this place.

On my 1st meeting with Mark, who I had never met before, he did not greet me and motioned for me to get on the table. He did not ask questions regarding my pain or did not give any guidance regarding how to proceed with a plan for my PT. I admit, I have been spoiled by other PTs who work with me on coming up with a plan to get me better and who ask questions. Unfortunately with Mark I felt like he worked on me before I was dismissed. I also felt a sense of disorganization from the beginning with this facility. My evaluation was conducted by someone in training even though I had scheduled it with a licensed PT. Furthermore, during my evaluation, the door was left open in an office very close to the reception area so I felt uncomfortable listing the medications I take when I was asked. I was also told I would have a meeting regarding my concerns but Katherine, at reception, indicated that there would be no meeting and her overall demeanor was also dismissive and annoyed. I also never received clear guidance on which PT would work best for me even though I had previously requested, over the phone, someone that provided strong manual therapy as I have found that works best for me. All that being said, I do have to give Kudos to the PT assistants and also to Brian, a PT, who came over and gave me guidance on an exercise when he noticed it needed improvement. I appreciated him noticing and helping out. I have had success with other locations but I do not think I will return or recommend this location to others.

When I was checking in my sister two employees saw me but after I had walked back in and sat down in the lobby they were weirdly staring at me for little bit and finally asked if I "had an appointment" or if I was "a patient" after I stared back and made eye contact with the receptionist for a while. I felt unwelcomed when they had clearly saw me dropping off my sister and when other individuals walked in, some who did not sign-in as well, sat down and were not questioned by staff. Maybe instead of staring come and address the question or problem you have with me instead of making me feel uncomfortable and as if I was doing wrong. Unsure if this was racially motivated but it was very unsettling! Hope this can be addressed through some training of some sorts (:!

I would definitely recommend this place for any injuries or pain you may have or that maybe chiropractor and pills aren't helping enough.

My appreciation extends also to DR Badday and Annette and the staff at the Irvine branch where I receive separate pain management treatment including steroid injections, and nerve ablations. I felt like my body was twisted and unbalanced, but the PTs covered by my insurance weren't able to help me until the issue I had been expressing eventually led to a severe injury where I couldn't walk for about five days. The PTs would give me exercises that I could have easily found through ChatGPT or a simple Google search, and then send me to an aide. When I had questions, the aides often didn't know the answers. They gave me A LOT of at home exercises, almost a quantity over quality, hoping one works. Then I found Dr. Gary! He is very different from a typical PT. He listens carefully to all of my issues (pain and discomfort seemingly everywhere. I'm sure I sound like a hypochondriac ), and then gives me some really odd exercises that I would never have found on my own. Somehow, I always feel better afterward. He goes all the way down to the basics, even teaching me how to breathe to properly engage my core, when to breathe during an exercise, and exactly where I should be feeling each movement. It's not just "here are some exercises, go do them." He makes sure I understand why I'm doing them and what I should be feeling. He also consistently remembers to send me my homework, often with videos. With the other PTs I tried, I had to repeatedly hunt them down to get my exercises, so I ended up having to rely on memory. Dr. Gary also responds to my questions between sessions if I'm unsure about an exercise, which has been incredibly helpful in making sure I'm doing things correctly. What I appreciate most is how much he genuinely cares about learning and thinking critically. I can tell he is constantly processing what he's seeing and what I'm telling him during our sessions and trying to figure out the root cause of what's going on. He tests and retests his hypotheses until my body gives him feedback that he's on the right track. I'm incredibly thankful for Dr. Gary and the care he puts into his work. If you're dealing with something that feels "off" in your body, I truly believe your health is worth the investment. Don't wait until the problem becomes a serious injury like I did because of the limitations of the insurance system. Take the chance! you may be surprised by how much the right PT can help. Dr. Gary is absolutely worth it!

I've had my fair share of injuries and my fair share of physical therapists. This has been by far my best PT experience, not just in terms of addressing my injuries but also getting me back into my routine with less risk of future issues from the knowledge gained. Wendy, the therapist I worked with, listened well, responded thoughtfully, and took my very subjective descriptions of pain and turned them into objective, actionable diagnoses. Quite impressive!

Extremely small waiting room and every seat was packed. Don't know about you but I can't be that close to people like that. I need some personal space. What I've noticed is for medi-cal patients most offices we get sent to are similar. They pack you in and have multiple appointments. 3. The lady who I saw for my initial consult was friendly and helpful. She took me to a private room to do the assessment. 4. The physical therapists are all working in one small room I would say no bigger than a one bedroom apartment. At least 4 therapist I saw helping/treating patients all open in the same room. Some in somewhat awkward positions such as legs raised with bands. It felt super awkward. When I did decide to go back for regular sessions I don't want to be right next to someone else on a bench getting worked on. I've been to another PT office and the room was huge and spacious so there was some discretion and privacy as they worked with you. Especially women and men. 5. I think the reviews reflect how the therapy is but only if you're comfortable with small confined spaces and sharing your experience right next to another person. Made me wonder if they are wiping down the areas after being used. If I can't get into a nicer environment I would rather just look up YouTube videos for stretches and buy a cheap tens unit. Don't know if you enjoy going to the dmv where there's just the weirdest people and crowded but that's what this place is like. Also when I was there with my 2 sons a very irate man who takes the bus there screamed at the receptionist because she told him his appt wasn't for another hour (which he knew) but said he had no choice because he has to take the bus and I felt like this guy is a freak show and didn't want my kids around that. I don't blame this place. The staff seem nice. The PTs seem experienced. But the type of people and super small place to me is a turn off. If you have to go here I get it. I blame Medi-cal for not being able to partner with better facilities because of low income.
