It started well, friendly, and the therapists are kind. However, the front desk personnel and manager treat you like a number. They are more concerned about getting paid than even talking to you. The manager decided that as soon as I had a concern, I should not go to their center anymore. She seems racist and does not know how to handle situations, concerns, or problems. Her solution is to dismiss the patient and not return. I feel sad for the therapists who do try, but under her management... run!!! Go elsewhere, like she sends the patients. Move on to bigger and better places where management isn't cold, indifferent, and racist. Watch the manager... she hides behind a smile, but underneath lies a person who should not manage anything!!! read more

Select in Upland is a billing mill. I saw 3 separate therapists including the intake and diagnostic Doctor. At no point was my injury taken seriously. Each time I arrived for a therapy session it was clear that the therapist had no understanding of my injury or my congenital skeletal condition. So either they did not read or remember my case history or the intake history was very poorly done. The last visit, after I was told a diagnosis that was inaccurate regarding the reason for my PT prescription, I tried to inform the doctor of my condition and to correct their understanding of my diagnosis. They were not interested at all. Definitely do not recommend this location for any painful injury that is not a clear result of a car accident or some other accident or surgery. They just seem unequipped or uninterested or both. read more

I would not recommend this place at all. From day one, staff there are not pleasant, physical therapist who does the eval will just directly bring you to a room conduct the eval without even explaining things first and also does not have a professional tone and approach. Then they will give you a paper to do the exercise at home. Second visit , as a start the therapist then makes us start to use the stationary bike then leaves you . why? so they can work on the other patients they see there. then after you complete the first exercise they then make you move and use another machine then leaves you. this then continues from the time you start till the end. Not even showing you or explaining to you the purpose of the exercise and why that particular move is helpful. At the same time as well they are treating other patients in the room and moves around from one to another. Waste of time! And to think I was even paying out of pocket. After 3 visits, I just stopped. The worst place! read more

I have been attending Select P.T. for pt on my knee with Bryanna for a little over a month now and I would highly recommend her and this facility. Bryanna is very knowledgeable on the plan I needed to follow to progress forward and heal, she is very supportive and professional. She wipes down the tables and machines after they are used (I have immune deficiencies, so this is much appreciated). Bryanna is thorough with scheduling by giving you a print out, sending out texts. Beware of Select Physical Therapy You walk to the back of the facility to wash your hands and start your physical therapy. Your therapist has assistants that help but they are so wide spread with other patients that there is hardly anytime for one on one. It's a shame that there isn't a one on one with you so you can feel that you are doing things right or push you to do what you're doing with proper form and technique. Unfortunately, during one of my therapies I had to hurry and tell staff a patients was about to pass out. This I feel should not be happening if there were enough staff to be aware of their patients needs. They had to run over to him to get a chair under him so he didn't fall. This is what happens when management doesn't care about patients and only see us as profit. This is considered the medical field so we shouldn't cut corners when it deals with patients and safety only to save a buck. This could have been prevented if we the patients had a one on one with the assistants instead of only coming when they hear a timer go off. This stems from management not seeing what needs to helps improve a business. I'm not going to discredit the assistants because they are amazing but cut short. There are therapists there that won't show you any time of day. I would say hi and they will turn around and look at you as if why am I talking to them I'm below them. I'm a friendly guy and like to say hi to everyone but there was a tall Asian man that won't acknowledge you if you're not his patient and the short Hispanic girl that doesn't want to talk to anyone. I, as a paramedic find professionalism very important. Please tell me why I go to Select Physical Therapy and I hear on the management playlist that she (Chelsea) plays everyday on repeat, songs about smoking weed or about sex. The patients I see next to me are mostly 60 years of age and above. I don't think this types of music is appropriate and definitely down right disrespectful to the people in that room. There is a time and place but management (Chelsea) doesn't give a darn about anyone but herself. Let's talk about Chelsea. Her demeanor is a travesty her attitude is horrible her professionalism is outright horrendous. I was doing physical therapy when I see her from across the room staring down my therapist. When I walk next to Chelsea she will look the other way so she doesn't have to talk to me. I saw her one time belittling my therapist in front of people. As a professional she should talk to people with respect and pull them Into a office when she needs to tell them something private and not put someone down to show your authority. The music was already discussed so I won't elaborate on it but I feel it is a subject that should not be ignored. I saw someone struggling doing an exercise ,as a professional and management , that needs to lead by example , they should push them or motivate them to hit their goal not walk pass them like we are wasting her time. As a manager in the medical field she should know laws that will help us and protect us. Chelsea has and will break HIPAA rules discussing people's medical problems in front of other patients. How do I know this. Because Ive heard her several times. Not only will she do that when the patient leaves she will talk behind their back of how they are annoying and what's ever problem she had with them to others. I really don't understand how she isn't fired or how she isn't sued or have a job at this place. There is one big saving grace to the place. Her name is Bryanna Fedorka. Her presence makes your feel important and cared for. She will take the time to know your name find ways to motivate you to be better, strive to feel normal again and push you in nothing but a positive way. When you see her when you walk in you can see her smile through her mask and if she's with someone she will tell you to hold on so the patient still feels like they are of the upmost importance. She is friendly, says hi to everyone whether they are her patients or not. She might be always feeling cold but that's cause her blood is pulling from all her extremities to keep her BIG HEART thriving. If I was corporate I would get rid of Chelsea and promote Bryanna but that's not my decision. When the place falls apart you would have been warned one things that would have made this place better. Never again should anyone go to this company. My husband was charged for 2 visits due to the ineptitude of the staff to make sure of Medicare approval of these visits (alerting him) before treating him. Could be considered as taking advantage of the patient, otherwise known as elder abuse. Make sure you have all of your insurance approvals and dr. referrals in order, or you will be charged the full amount, not even the same discounted amount that Medicare pays, because this company does NOT look out for the patient's welfare. I had physical therapy here after knee surgery 5 years ago, and I was happy with my care. However, now I have Medicare and was in an auto accident. So, after driving 20 minutes to get to the PT office and spending a half hour filling out paperwork, I was told they won't treat me because sometime Medicare does not pay. I told them Medicare had already paid for an MRI and two panels of X-rays and multiple other bills. They still refused my treatment. I'm sorry, but why didn't they check insurance payment first? Why so greedy? I guess in the end all they care about is money. Not somewhere I will go back too. read more

I cant say enough about Select. Ive only been to the facility once but I have to say it is a refreshing change from the past facility that I had used. The employees are friendly, the facility is super clean, adhering to Covid guidelines and they walk you through exactly what you will be doing, not just letting you go to figure it out as a lot of other facilities do. I've been going to these guys almost 8 years. They are all an amazing bunch from the receptionist to the therapist. These are all good straightforward people. I started initially with Pili and Lisa and Judy, then I was advised to try weekly dedicated workout therapy with Ed. It completely changed my back and my overall health immensely. I had to be willing and open to change my ways all in the name of health. I became a believer that simple changes in diet, exercise, routine etc can make a huge overall impact in health. Ed has been a wealth of information about fitness and diet and a positive influence on helping my condition and becoming healthier. When I first started bench pressing, I was barely able to hold the 45 pound bare bar now I am able to bench-press 300 pounds. read more

I liked the facility so much I now attend the gym as often as I can. They have a full service gym available with low cost membership. I have been receiving physical therapy from the therapists and staff at Select Physical Therapy (recently changed their name from Physiotherapy Associates) for four months and I can't say enough good things about their work. Professional, knowledgeable, insightful, welcoming, friendly, kind, and respectful. The facility itself is clean, open, has excellent equipment and a wall of windows facing the mountains letting in abundant light.
