I was helped by a seller by name of Richard seems like a real nice guy just telling my personal experience nothing personal. I bought a truck for around 37k 2013 Freightliner I was told by the dealer the front windshield was fixed the but a week in it rained it started taking in water badly so that was fabricated the truck broke down a week and a half of running the turbo went out and thank God I fell under the buyers assurance window of 60 days or would have paid for turbo which is very expensive and they say they run these trucks through several test and check out the truck that it works half way decent but that is obviously not the case in my experience and also the tires were about 9 year old recaps sold on the truck so definitely look for that if you decide to buy here they will blow on you like crazy and mess up your truck I had a blow out as well about a week in from start of putting the truck to work after I bought the truck and had to buy a whole new set of tires that set me back $2000 dollars because I couldnt risk the others blowing and the check engine light came on within a week and and a half of hauling loads and I paid $900 something for that and they seem like nice people from when I met them the product itself is not satisfactory in my opinion and I don't think you should tell buyers false information nor sell trucks with 9 year old recaps tires some where in that age range blow outs can cause alot of damage to your truck and others on the road if something is not fixed just say it's not fixed. I also have receipts for all that was stated I have to tell the truth because I know how hard it is when you invest sometimes your last dime to get into the business and all these unnecessary expenses when the truck was suppose to be checked out before I bought it by select trucks so hopefully this helps people who are trying to buy a truck and some things to look for good luck to all my fellow truckers the best of luck to you. We recently purchased a box truck at Selectrucks Houston. One week after having the truck the truck began to leak oil. The truck had been stored for that week. We took it in and it was "fixed". We get the truck back and a few days later it started leaking oil again. Which we went to go get it "fixed" with them. After the repairs, my husband started driving the truck out to deliveries and not even a week later the truck engine light came on. We took it to an international dealership to get it checked because it was moving very slow and they found a list of issues that the truck had. Few of these things were ( charge pipes leaking oil, tire alignment, steer axle hubs low on oil, air dyer filter needing changing, fan belt cracked and weathered). Considering we only got the truck about a month ago, the dealership is not wanting to take responsibility for all the repairs needed. The manager ( Ken Dominque), is not evening responding to our concerns. This has cost our company money, and having our deliveries late. Causing risk to our safety. We have had to invest in hotel, services, due to the irresponsibility of Selectrucks. Due to our personal experience I would highly recommend for you to go else where to buy. I recently went to purchase a truck. The Finance person Megan put the wrong information on the paperwork. I went in on Monday to complete the transaction and had a few questions. He did not have the answers so he went to get Megan for assistance. Megan was very rude when asked questions, as though I did not have the right to ask and questions and that I should just sign the paperwork. Again, the title application had no box checked indicating what the paperwork was being submitted for. She rudely checked the box and was in a hurry to go home, I would assume. There was no sense of professionalism, and this was the second time she jeopardized Eddie's cash sale. I would not want her dealing with any of my customers, the ones who are financing and especially not the ones who make cash deals. I would suggest that management send her to classes to brush up on her people skills and let her know that she has no entitlement, and her actions could cost the company losses in sales.
